This property was an excellent place for us. Everything was so well stocked and taken care of.

The view is AMAZING. Private, off the beaten path but close to anything you’ll need. The cabin was furnished with everything you’ll need for your stay plus fun activities. The River was an adventure and you can walk up, down and across ( just mind your footing). Helen and Cornelia were short easy drives. One for tourism the other for necessities. The beds are comfortable. The cabin was spacious. The Cherry on top was the screened in porch which is where we spent most of our “inside” time watching tv which was minimal. Chairs riverside is where we were mostly when not in the river itself! The fireflies showed up nightly for a light show. Too many great things to say. Summary: PERFECTION ON THE CHATAHOOCHI

This is our 3rd visit. It is a family favorite. The property and river are so relaxing and amazing.

Love this place!

We had a perfect quiet weekend in between a wedding in Cleveland. My family and I enjoyed every minute of our time along the banks of the river. The house was very well equipped and was very nostalgic. Good memories were made and many were remembered. Thank you for sharing your home!

This is your place. Location right by the river was incredible. Home was incredible. Had everything we needed. Owner was VERY responsive to questions. Will definitely stay here again.

The only negative I have is that I wasn't able to stay longer. The cabin has everything you need. A primary on the main and another primary upstairs along with bunkbeds for 3. The cabin was spotless and stocked with anything you'd need to make amazing meals. The river is huge and kept the kids entertained all day long, hopping rocks, fishing, exploring and then chilling in the hot tub. The property is gorgeous, a huge firepit right next to the water, a hammock on one side and some hidden chairs on the other. It even has a little waterfall. My two dogs were in heaven. I can't wait to go back, it was truly perfect.

Beautiful place and view of the river. Well equipped was disappointed in the area under the porch. Was a total mess. Needs to have fans and out of reach areas dusted better. Recommend a floor lamp in dining area to see better when eating/playing cards. I would definitely consider coming back in the summer months to enjoy the river more thank u

Property was clean and in good condition when we arrived. Everything was as pictured in the listing. Loved having the sound of the river throughout our stay. Bed was super comfortable and the view of the river when waking up was very nice. We used the hot tub and grill and everything was great. Would suggest more comfortable porch furniture but we added pillows and enjoyed board games and reading during the day which was lovely.

Both of my boys kept saying “this is amazing” throughout our stay. We all loved the design of the cabin, the beautiful scenery, the peaceful river ambiance, the comfort of the soothing hot tub & our crackling fires, & just the overall feel of the space. We enjoyed ourselves immensely & will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The area was quiet and the sounds of the river were so relaxing. The cabin was clean and cozy. We would definitely stay again.

This cabin is located in an excellent spot - tucked in the woods, but delicious restaurants and shopping are not far away. The river is everything, and there are many places to sit out back to enjoy it. We're working on a plan to return in the summer so we can get into the river. The owner was quick and generous to correct an unusual error that occurred. His response went above and beyond ensuring we had a nice stay.

Had a great time on the river - nice cabin on the Chattahoochee River. Central to some cool towns like Helen and Dahlonega. Easy to get to and into the property as long as you read the instructions. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out and enjoy the home and the amazing property.

Spectacular property located on Chattahoochee river near Demorest Georgia about 20 minutes away from Helen Georgia. My family and I got lucky this weekend with the leaves on the trees, changing to the beautiful Fall colors. The weather was warm enough that we could play the dogs in the river and jump from rock to rock skipping rocks and having a great time. Such a great family property. The house itself is very spacious clean up-to-date yet still has a cabin feel to it would highly recommend this property.

This is an amazing property! My family had the best time. My kids are already asking when we can go back. If you’re on the fence about booking it just go ahead and do it!

Absolutely gorgeous cabin directly on the river- loved it! WIFI was good. Beds were comfortable. Cabin was extremely clean and smelled good. Only used living room TV and it worked great. Microwave and dishwasher work. We did not cook. Bathrooms were spacious and beautiful. The covered screened in back porch was our favorite spot. The sound and sight of the river was mesmerizing. Host is not kidding about the GPS- it will LIE to you and try to get you to drive across people’s backyards. Do not fall for the lies! Roads to property consist of dirt and gravel but we had no issues. Driveway is steep but is concrete. Plenty of space to park. I tried to contact the property owner about a few minor issues not worth mentioning in a review but the messaging system did not seem to be working. My message failed to send. There is a small one cup at a time Kuerig coffee maker that works just fine as well as a regular coffee maker which we did not use. We have been coming to the area annually for our anniversary for nearly a decade and this was definitely one of the best places. Our first time staying on a river and I am hooked! Almost forgot to discuss privacy. There are 2 cabins sort of within view from the front yard but the back deck, where you will spend most of your time, is extremely private. It is elevated above the bank enough that people walking in the river are not going to be peering in at you. There are cabins across the river but I could not see them.

You can't beat this location! The views from the multiple decks over the river and out the kitchen window are fantastic. The home it self is well appointed, beds were comfortable, TVs all worked, etc. We were able to hangout on the sand bar due to the water level but getting in the river with tubes was easy and SO NICE! The house was extremely clean with exception of the dishwasher and the outdoor furniture. I get that outdoor couches tend to get dirty easily and neither would prevent me from staying here again or suggesting this property to others.

My wife and I traveled with our kids and her parents. The house was the perfect size for the 6 of us with everything you could possibly need for cooking/grilling. It is our first rental that has been better in person than the pictures! The views were incredible from the decks and the screened in porch was a favorite for meals and night time movies. It was hard to keep the kids out of the river with so many fun places to tube and jump in from the rocks. The walk across to the sandbar was a little challenging at first, but we were pros by the end of the stay. We look forward to booking again soon.

We spent a wonderful weekend at this lovely property. As many reviews said the pictures just don't do it justice. The setting and scenery are just perfect and we hung out down by the river the whole weekend. The kitchen is well stocked and we enjoyed the fireplaces. The driveway is a bit intimidating but we managed it. Would love to come back here someday!

Spectacular view of river

We fell in love with this property! The cabin was beautiful and well stocked with anything you could possibly need/want while away from home. We took our 3 children (ages 2,4, and 8) and found the property to be very child-friendly. There were very shallow/calm areas of the river around the property that allowed the kiddos to stick their feet in and play for a bit (the water was cold so they didn't hang out for long being it was the first of May). We spent the evening out on the screened-in porch watching cartoons on the outdoor tv and grilling steaks. We are from North Carolina and typically travel down to the area once a year. The kids requested we come back to this exact location next year because they enjoyed it so much!
