Loved this property! Easily accommodates every age group from infants to older adults. Steps away from the beach! Perfect!! Will absolutely stay there again!!!

Enjoyed this property which was perfect for our family!

From booking to staying, this property was great! The hosts were very friendly, very helpful, and very accommodating. The weather was temperamental, but Jay (Damon’s brother) was VERY helpful with setting up chairs, giving us advice about the beach, and coming to set up whenever we requested if the weather got better. There were plenty of activities and water toys to enjoy and we even enjoyed a bonfire one evening (would totally recommend spending the money for this!). The house was lovely- furniture was a little outdated and rundown, but to be expected with a rental that’s rented out all the time. Overall, we couldn’t beat the location and helpfulness. Thanks SO much!

Comfortable beach house in a great location. It was lovely to wake up and walk onto the beach. House comfortably slept the 11 of us. Host provided water toys (boogie boards, paddle boards, life vests) as well as beach chair and umbrella set up. I would have given it a 5 star rating if linens, towels, and dishes were in better condition and quality. I would definitely recommend this host and home if you are looking for a beach getaway.

We've stayed here four times (and counting) over 3 years. The location absolutely cannot be beat. The home is comfortable and can accommodate extended families easily. The views are so peaceful I truly feel rested and ready to take on the real world when I have to leave. I don't want to go anywhere, just cook and watch my family play and hang out and truly be in the moment.

This was our 3rd time staying here. I never want to leave the house while I'm here. This time, I brought friends and their families to celebrate my birthday. So many wonderful memories were made and I look forward to the next visit, already on the books. This house is 100% the best beach house. You can't get a better view and the area is not as crowded as other places.

Great location. House had beds for our family with four grown children and their spouses. Damon was available to take our call on check in.

Inlet has been one of our favorites beaches for quite a while. This is the first time we have stayed at Katherine's Sandcastle but it hopefully won't be the last. We loved the location- it can't be beat and the house was perfect for our family. The furnishings were comfortable and you were provided everything you needed for a great stay which included a baby bed, pack n play, kayaks and paddle boards, games, puzzles, and the best equipped kitchen we've ever had. The pool was a great added feature as well. Check in was simple, it was easy to communicate with the owners and Jay's Beach Service was attentive and ready to help in any way. Perfect spot on the Beach!!

Very good. Beds comfortable. Cable was out of service; however, we survived and really enjoyed the proximity of the house to the beach.

Absolutely perfect family vacation!! Damon was available to answer if we had any questions !!Nothing compares to stepping off your porch and toes in the sand!! The views from balcony and porch were breathtaking!!Will be going back!!❤️

Overall a solid satisfying week. The weather on Saturday afternoon and evening and on Sunday was hit and miss with rain. Overall experience by everyone was very enjoyable.

Perfect beach location! My entire family loved it. We had never stayed so close to the beach and it was wonderful. There were 4 couples total with 4 children. The three bathrooms upstairs are attached to three of the bedrooms, so every couple/family had their own private bathroom. The area is also wonderful with some good restaurants and attractions nearby. Just a wonderful vacation!

My family and I enjoyed the property and location. The owner was very accommodating. We met his parents and brother who were as nice as could be. I would suggest an electric can opener for the kitchen, more towels and wash rags for main floor bath room. Maybe offer fans to cool off the upstairs. Over all it was magnificent to walk out on the beach from your front porch. Our vacation was awesome. No regrets or complaints.

So nice with young children to able to have the beach in our front yard. Quiet area. Location was perfect! Easy contact with host. Chairs were set up daily. Kayak was available, too! Highly recommend this property!

My family of 6 plus, in-laws stayed at this property with me. It was easy with an 11 month old and kids. Everyone had a space to sleep comfortably, kitchen was stocked, we had paper products, spices, grocery store and urgent care near by (which we fully utilized...lol), Damon our host even went out and bought a pack n play for our 11 month old because I had a concern of having a safe place to set her on the main level when I was cooking. Damon went above and beyond with prompt response. We had everything we needed. A special unexpected bonus was that Damon’s brother set up and took down beach chairs and umbrellas everyday. Making beach with a baby much easier. It was so nice not having to pack up every time someone had to go the the bathroom as they just ran up to the house. We were in and out getting drinks and snacks making it possible to spend more time on the beach where we wanted to be. The floor plan was perfect for multiple generations. My in laws were on the main level and the rest of the bedrooms were upstairs. The master upstairs had the awesome view...ocean and sunny sky in all directions. And we listened to the waves at night when we slept. So relaxing. From the main living area/kitchen, there is also not a wall without a window in which you can see beautiful blue sparkling ocean. This was all I was looking for and it was delivered with this house, right on the beach. We could even see the bigger kids outside if I had to be inside with the baby for any reason which was great.If there were any cons, it was that you could tell the house is older and perhaps could stand a few updates, but none of this really mattered to me as I came for the ocean not the decor and interior design of the house. With that being said, the kitchen and flooring I could tell were fairly current and most importantly had everything we needed (and more) Loved having the kurig coffee making in the kitchen. One other issue we ran into was the kids getting splinters (one of our trips to urgent care, for a few really deep ones in my 4 year old’s feet) If I had any suggestions maybe new bedding and towels for the guests. Even still I’d give this place a 9.5/10 for location, being on a beautiful spot on the beach, and host responsiveness and care (I actually give an 11/10 on this specific category)Thankyou Damon for letting my family stay at your property! We hope to be back next year if you will have us!

You can’t beat the location or the view there is none better in that area

Excellent location right on the beach. The property itself is little run down and for a very small investment it could easily become just as beautiful inside as the views it commands.

We greatly enjoyed are stay at Katherine's Sandcastle! The location was wonderful from being right on the beach to only minutes from 30A to only about 40 minutes from Destin and about 20-30 to Panama City. The home was spacious and comfortable. The extra fridge in the garage was a nice added touch and the gas grill was stocked with propane for cooking. We enjoyed having the chairs setup for us everyday and great private beach! Would definitely stay here again!

If you want a spot where you can step out the front door onto sand this is it. The sand was amazing on this private beach. Great space for a large family or combination of 2 families. We enjoyed ourselves. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Property was as advertised or better. The kayaks, chairs, umbrellas, and other beach equipment was an added bonus. House was great. Damon was a an attentive and easily contacted host. Jay (Damon’s brother)offered assistance with anything at the property. Thank you for the use of the house and access to the wonderful beach.
