Lara was a fantastic host. She was easy to get in touch with using whats app (we do not speak much Italian so I highly recommend this option) . We were on a ski trip so we did not pack lightly and she picked us up from the train station when no Taxis were available! Otherwise it is a very close walk from the station. The area was very interesting with historical areas, restaurants and a grocery store close by. The property itself was also very interesting and made staying at Baveno that much more memorable but the apartment was spotless with every convenience of a luxury stay. We can not recommend it more!

A splendid castle; well equipped with all the modern conveniences. We especially enjoyed the views from our apartment. The decoration was in good taste.

We would have liked to have met the owner, Silvano, because he seemed nice via messages. There was some difficulty communicating with the person in charge of giving us the keys.

This apartment is beautifully and ingeniously created from the roof space in an old tower. The inside is beautifully fitted out with everything needed for a comfortable stay and the views are stupendous, particularly from the bedroom and bathroom. The location is quiet and secure and yet very close to the Lake and Baveno centre.

the apartment is new, clean, smart, and situated in a lovely building. key keeper is a lovely lady that is very helpful. it is a true gem.

Really nice apartment with a lot of character in this beautiful castle right next to the lake with amazing views to the lake. The interior is very nice and modern and really bright. It was spotless clean. The host Silvano is really great and very helpful, providing us with anything that we could need.
