The host was an extremely thoughtful and communicative person who really paid close attention to all of the 'little' details. Our stay was fantastic, and you simply can't beat the proximity to an absolutely wonderful beach (and downtown St. Augustine, of course). Would highly recommend this property if you're a small, quiet family looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

The house was just as advertised; clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to the beach and restaurants. Carol answered all of our questions and was very helpful. If I am back in the area, I will definitely rent with Carol again.

This property is exactly as described! We had ample space to gather. Everything we needed to cook with was provided. There were games available to play when it was raining. The pool was nice, and the beach was a quick walk from the condo. We had a wonderful time, would definitely recommend this condo to future guests! The owners were great to work with too.

Carol has been an absolute joy to rent from! Not only is the condo everything advertised, Carol was extremely helpful. The small thoughtful gestures, such as a hand-written note when I arrived and informing me of the shuttle launch, made this one of the best rentals of my many years experience. The condo was clean and the kitchen fully furnished. It was a peaceful visit to the area.

WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO QUAIL HOLLOW NUMEROUS TIMES OVER THE LAST 15 YEARS. CAROL'S CONDO WAS ONE OF THE BEST..WE WILL DEFINITELY RENT IT AGAIN. IN ADDITION CAROL WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY COPERATIVE.

We felt comfortable and found the condo was perfect for our stay. This is an older complex but it really suited us for what we wanted to do. Carol had ample supplies which I appreciated. Thank you for the wine, chocolates, spices, assortment of snacks, etc. It was nice to walk the complex in the evening and feel safe.

Condo was great - stocked kitchen, linens and even came with beach towels and lots of beach toys! We had a great time and would stay again. Hopefully, the weather cooperates for the whole week next time!

I want to thank the owner for being in contact with us in case we needed something. The welcome gifts were very apreciated and delicious. Thanks for the drinking water. Property was very clean and close to beautiful parks and beaches. If you visit the area, don't miss Anastasia Park, River to the sea preserve, Washington Oaks Garden, the lighthouse... This was our first trip to St. Augustine and I cannot wait to go back! The condo was perfect. It was spacious, well maintained and clean. Our family of four fit perfectly. It has a well stocked pantry. Plenty of games, puzzles, and books to enjoy. Also well stocked with beach toys. Carol was a joy to rent from. She goes above and beyond to make your stay awesome. The beach is about a five minute walk. Once you get there it is gorgeous! The pool is also very nice. There are so many great restaurants close to the condo- Violas (Italian), South Beach Grill, Oasis, Salt Life Food Shack. Also a short drive into the town of St. Augustine. Plenty to do there, we went to the fort and to the Alligator Farm. It was a perfect getaway and we can't wait to go back!

The condo was very clean! It had everything we needed! Even had beach toys, chairs, etc! She had a small basket of treats for our children on the table with a note when we got there! The pool was very clean! The only down fall was lots of stairs to the beach with little ones but we learned to carry less to the beach! We were pleasantly surprised how clean the condo was and had all the towels, pots and pans we needed! We loved our stay there and hope to return next summer!

We arrived before Christmas and stayed through February. Carol made our stay special in every way! Our time a t Quail Hollow on Anastasia Island was so peaceful and the area is everything we wanted on our trip . The best part is the exceptional beach. And it is a 4 to 5 minute walk! It is the very best. Our condo was fully equipped with all we needed during the 9 weeks spent there. Carol goes the extra mile to accommodate her renters. She gets an A plus. We just returned from our stay at St. Augustine. The condo we rented from Carol was perfect for our visit. We were close to the historical and fun attractions in St. Augustine and only a few steps from a nearly private beach! Carol went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The condo was equipped with everything we needed to make our stay on the beach fun...boogie boards, umbrella, beach chairs, etc. My girls said it was one of their favorite vacations ever! We hope to return in the future. Thank you, Carol for opening your home up to us and making us feel so welcomed!

This property is an older garden apartment style condo complex that is nicely arranged and landscaped. It definitely does not have that cookie cutter feel of many of the newer complexes. Our unit was clean, extremely well equipped, comfortable and nicely furnished. The air conditioning worked well and there were fans in every room as well. Lovely! Our unit was on the side of the complex that was on Route A1A so we could hear the traffic when the windows were open. But with the windows closed when the air conditioning was on (which was all the time) we really did not hear the traffic. Lots of great little restaurants nearby which are moderately priced and imaginative. None of those boring overpriced chain restaurants. Groceries etc are about two or three miles away and we found the Winn Dixie to be cheaper and better than Publix. The owner of the unit was a delight to deal with. A lovely person. She responded immediately whenever we contacted her, and we had no problems at all with the unit and the property. We have already booked another two weeks for next year.

This is a cozy, comfortable and very livable condo located in a quiet complex. The beach is a short walk from the condo just passed a beautiful and inviting pool. I can't say enough about the gorgeous beach. Love, love, love it! White powdery sand on a very wide beach. You can see & walk on the beach for miles in each direction, which became part of our daily routine. We will definitely go back again if staying in the area. Close to restaurants, groceries, beauty shops and some cute little speciality shops (cupcake shop for one)

Older, well equipped

Very beautiful and uncrowded beach! Unit was stocked with everything needed to make a beach vacation enjoyable. We literally only needed to bring our clothes and a few groceries, everything else was already there. Carol is the most responsive owner I have ever dealt with!

Everything was wonderful. Condo was very clean. Close walk to the best beach ever!!! We are already planning our return trip.

We rented this condo for 5 nights in July and then headed to Orlando for 4 additional nights elsewhere. We would have been perfectly happy in this condo for the entire 9 nights. It was for my husband, myself and our 11 year old son. Although I would not hesitate to rent again and have our three older adult sons join us next time. My husband preferred a harder mattress but I loved the master bed and especially the pillows and comforter. Everything we needed was there! With multiple food allergies we have to cook everything and pack food for everywhere we go. Ton's of condiments in the fridge. Carol even provided bottled water and a bag of ice in the freezer. My husband used the outdoor grill near the pool which worked great! There was a cooler to use as well. My son enjoyed the boogie boards and especially the basketball net for the pool. The pool was very nice and never crowded at all. I think the walk to the beach may have been more like two minutes. It's the best beach I have ever been on besides in the Bahamas. The sand was so nice and soft. Beautiful shells to be found but not too many that hurt your feet. The water was so warm in July. The small geckos running around the outside of the condo were cute and not bothersome at all. Carol was awesome as she really wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and she responded very quickly when I texted her from the beach for the gate code on the pier. The markets close by are fun and we found lots of sand volleyball courts that we had to tell our older sons about. We also found organic food and gluten free options in multiple stores close by. It's a short drive to the Gator Farm and downtown St. Augustine. St. George Street is my favorite! The fort is awesome and so is Flagler College. It is also worth your money to take the train trolley tour. Everything is worth seeing. I want to go back today!!! There is so much more to see and do. We rented a vehicle and ended up getting stuck in the sand on the beach but the Sheriff that helped get us out was so nice and even gave us information on the sea turtle nests that we pulled over to see when we got stuck. EVERYONE here was so nice!!! I want to live here really bad. I could write forever about St. Augustine. Thank you Carol! This was one of our best vacations ever! Cannot wait to come back.

We have stayed at a number of different rentals near the beach over the years. I have to say that we have never encountered an owner as helpful as Carol. She responded promptly to every email, and went above and beyond the call of duty in every way... even mailing some items we had forgotten the day after we left. She cleans the place herself, and washes all comforters, etc. so one can have the peace of mind of a clean/comfortable place place to sleep. Every possible item we could have needed was there, including kitchen items, beach toys, etc. The atmosphere of the condo is homey and comfortable...perfect for my husband and I and our two kids. As for Crescent Beach/St. Augustine, it is probably our favorite area to spend time on the beach. We are native Floridians who have stayed at many places on both the ocean and gulf coasts of Florida. What we love about St. Augustine is that there is a rich history, but it is not quite so crowded and touristy as other parts of Florida. The part of the beach where this condo is located is especially quiet and relaxing. We hope to return next year!

Carol does a great job of communicating before the rental time and making the condo feel welcoming and accommodating. She(the owner) is very each to reach when needed, something that has been difficult when renting from others. The condo is a quick walk to the beach and pool, enough you can run back when a rainstorm just begins, haha. The condo also has a great kitchen area with anything extra you could think of, I think she had even more than we have in our own kitchen at home!

My family was looking for a quiet, relaxing place to spend Spring Break and we certainly found it! Beautiful, clean beaches, well-maintained and secure condo, friendly neighbors, and every amenity you could think of. The owner was easy to communicate with and she definitely created a positive experience for us. There weren't too many items that we had to buy during the stay, other than normal perishable food items. There were several very good restaurants in the area that we enjoyed (if you prefer dining out). Although most of the tenants at Quail Hollow are retired, our two teenagers found the setting enjoyable and preferred the St. Augustine area over Daytona (amazing to say it, but it's true). In fact, we visited Daytona one day and our youngest asked, "When are we going back to the condo -- this place is loud and dirty!" I think that says it all! We will return and have already recommended to our friends and family!

We stayed here for a week in July and loved the condo. Condo was fully stocked with everything from beach necessaries to the kitchen. Master bedroom has two closets which is great for him/her. We chose to save space when packing and opted out of bringing a cooler and was going to buy one to use when we arrived. We were excited to see a large cooler in one of the closets!! We would definitely use rental again and also recommend to friends!! Carol was quick in responses and very pleasant to do business with.

This was pour third year at Quail Hollow, but first time staying at this condo. Everything about the stay was perfect. If you want to deal with great people book this one. You won't be disapponited. The owner went above and beyond taking care of us, and even making the trip possible. The condo is very clean well stocked and has everything you and the family could possibly need for a great vacation. Can't wait till next summer.

In short: Comfortable condo, beautiful beach! At length: We had a wonderful time on our beach vacation, largely due to staying in this fabulous location! The beach access leads to a beautiful and secluded portion of the beach. This condo in particular was very spacious and exactly what we looked for. It was fully equipped with bedding, towels, beach chairs, and cooking supplies. The living space is quite spacious and was great for relaxing! The pool is also very nice, with both shallow and deep ends (something for everybody)! This was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing beach vacation! Important to note that the development was family friendly and the beach access has some stairs. Great place!

We spent a week at Quail Hollow on Crescent beach. The Condo was immaculate and very quiet. The owner was very professional and friendly. We booked on line and she was very accessible through email. She went above and beyond to help us with our stay. The Condo was very quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. The pool was always clean and the beach was amazing. Not over crowded and the private board walk was great. Looking forward to coming back next year. The entire experience was excellent.

I rented this condo for a 5-day beach & St. Augustine getaway with my 8 & 9 year-old kids. This was my first vacation rental, and it had everything I would have expected -- and more! When we walked in, my kids thought it was very cool, and started exploring. When they found the closet stuffed with beach toys and games, they were in heaven - and I was a real hero! We thoroughly enjoyed the lovely private beach and pool, even though they were just a little bit of a walk. Make sure you're aware that there are stairs to the condo and the beach. Everything was extremely comfortable, and the owners couldn't have been more accommodating, meeting all of our needs. We found plenty of good dining choices nearby, and enjoyed sightseeing in historic St. Augustine. We plan to come back!

We had a wonderful stay. This place was as described and pictured in the listing. The Condo was clean and very well equipped. Everything we needed and even things we didn't anticipate. The kids loved the second bedroom and all the beach toys. They even had fun with the games and books. Its decorated nicely but not so much so that I had to worry about my kids being themselves. The condo is at the front of the complex and near the road but we didn't hear any street noise. We utilized both the pool and the beach daily, both were close and both were great; we hardly ever ran into other folks but when we did everyone was friendly. The person working in the office where we had to get our parking pass was unfriendly and brusque,but that was no big deal....I only had to deal with her once. The bed in the master seemed like a full instead of a queen. We were secluded enough to enjoy lots of quiet but close to the stores and other amenities. A nice jaunt to historic St. Augustine, not too close not too far.The owner went out of her way to make our stay pleasant. Lovely home, lovely owner, great rates. We hope to stay again next year. (This was our first time renting through VRBO and we were well pleased and would definitely do it again.)

We have stayed at 3 other units in Quail Hollow and this one is now our favorite! It is very clean and comfortable and is conveniently located near your parking space. It is close to the pool and beach and we love the fact that this beach is not crowded. Everyone is friendly and it is family-oriented. It is a great price for a wonderful place to stay on your vacation!
