Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Whispering Pines at Deep Creek. We had a group of husbands and wives that needed a weekend away. We found that all the amenities were high end. The furniture and decor was great. The dining room table we thought needed looked into. It was not as stable as it could be and a few of the chairs seemed a little unsteady. The bedrooms were great size and would have liked one more queen bed for another couple, but understand that twin bunks and beds give more of a variety. We enjoyed our stay and will look into renting this property again. What a weekend to remember.

With the exception of just one complaint, it was a perfect getaway home. It could not have been cleaner, it could not have been more comfortable. Hot tub was a hit, and so was the view from the upper balcony. I do STRONGLY recommend that the owners install a dehumidifier in the lower level. The musty, moldy, mildew smell was overwhelming to those of us who slept on that level. The smell at times even woke me up.

All other rooms did not have a view of the lake. Kitchen and dining area are very spacious. 5 bathrooms was a huge plus! The movie theater and hot tub downstairs were perfect. Another upside, the condo is only about a mile away from restaurants and bars which made everything convenient! Would definitely recommend!!

Everything in the house worked flawlessly, location is great, close to 219. If you go when it snows I would recommend having four wheel drive as the road into the neighborhood is steep and gravel but cars still managed with about an inch of snow on the ground. Plenty of room in the garage to pull a car or suv into as well.

Because of the price of the property, there needs to be some improvements to make it a good value for the money: couch cushions in living room are terrible quality and should be replaced - you sink to the bottom when sitting on them; TVs in rooms are completely dated (tube TVs) - given the small price of flat screen TVs these days, they really should be updated; lamps in bedroom had burnt out light bulbs; water throughout house was lukewarm. Overall, I enjoyed my time there because of the company I was with, but the house could stand a few improvements.
