This rental was well provided with all our needs. Conveniently located within 5 blocks or so of the action in the restaurant and shops downtown. The only downside was the aisle to one side of the bed was narrow and a bit difficult. Thanks!

This place was great! It was nicely appointed and immaculate. The location couldn't have been better. We did not bother with a car, and we could walk all around and enjoy whitefish. I would highly recommend it.

Wouldn't recommend more than two people because of the narrowness and location of the bathroom inside the bedroom. Great location walkable to town and other amenities. Very quiet except for the late night , slow rumbles of the freight trains passing nearby. Well-stocked kitchen with all the necessities

We had a comfortable stay here. Great location for Whitefish (clean, safe, close to lots of restaurants), and an easy drive to Glacier.

The property was nice and perfect for two people. Walkable to downtown and walkable to Whitefish Lake. Enjoyed our stay. Checkout is a bit early though (10am). Great place!

Perfect location a couple of blocks from downtown Whitefish and a short drive to Glacier. The bedroom and bathroom are small but all we needed for a week of outdoor adventure. Would definitely stay again!

If 5 is the top rating, we rank Walkers Cottage 5. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot almost instantly. Convenience to the songwriter festival downtown was superb. Could have used an ice cube tray. We'd stay there again!!

Perfect for two
Adorable house right near downtown Whitefish. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was clean and cozy. Great location. And a great accommodation.

This was perfect for a couple. Easy to get anywhere downtown. Parking on the street but an alley next to the front door to load and unload luggage. It could benefit from a few more normal size wine glasses and some smaller glasses for adult beverages. Other than that - it was a great place

This is a wonderful place to stay! It’s small, but very nicely laid out, super comfortable and well- appointed. Downtown is only three to five minutes away by foot. I definitely hope to be back. I can see 1-2 people working well in the house; for me, 3-4 is doable, but you’ll be very close together and there’s quite limited storage space for clothes. Wonderful stay!
We stayed at Walkers Cottage for 5 nights. The location was great- very short walk to town and quiet neighborhood. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you would need and very comfortable for two people (and all our snow gear). Would definitely stay here again and even made friends with the local deer family that hang around the area.

Great place for short stay
Well-located in an area that seems to be undergoing some gentrification. Felt very safe and was only a few blocks from the town center. We were in town for 3 days. If staying longer we would have needed a washer/dryer in order to recycle and resume our cycling kit. This was the only deficiency with this property. Note that access to the bathroom is very narrow. I am currently on crutches and had to try and crutch sideways. Would be impossible for anyone in a wheelchair. Also steps up to front door.

Every inch of the place is used so there is no storage. Luggage will be just sitting on the floor or left in the car. Also, while it isn't a big deal, there isn't dedicated parking so the ad says up to 2 cars, its street parking - but the entire time we were there the street was virtually empty.
So I would say, if you are single or just a couple, and you pack light, you want to be close to everything in Whitefish (including traffic) then for the price, this is a great choice.

Nice but not for us
I didn’t see the pix with stairs to entry or I would have booked else where. We are in our 80’s and stairs are very difficult. The cost of the place should include a higher grade TP. The bedroom and bathroom were very small; again maneuvering was hard. The TV quit working and the couch was not suitable to sit on bc of the sagging. The two red chairs were the saving grace for us.
