Well kept and clean. Kitchen well stocked. Pool area is awesome and enjoyed having option to grill out.

The place was spacious, nicely furnished and decorated, well equipped, and well maintained. The property manager arranged for a rental car and airport shuttle. We loved the pool and our private patio and the quiet location.

We found the villa to be well kept. Clean and decorated very tastefully. Kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you could need. BBQ worked well. The complex has a very nice pool and sitting area to relax. Villa is located in Playa Langosta which has a couple of nice restaurants and is only a short walk to Tamarindo. Only 2 minor (very minor) issues: water pressure for the showers are low which seems common for the area as we have stayed at other Villas and experienced the same thing. If you plan on using the pull out bed...it is not very comfortable. We enjoyed staying here and would definitely consider staying here again. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids. The kids shared the queen sized bed in the second room. The owner Kathy and her helper Willy were very attentive to our needs and have very good communication standards. They also arrange for the shuttle to pick us up and take us back to Liberia airport. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful Villa.

We stayed for 6 nights at this fantastic villa. It has all of the comforts of home. While we did eat out on occasion we were able to cook most meals here as the kitchen has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were soft. The grounds and pool area are impeccable and we spent a lot of time at the pool. There were also pool toys provided for our daughter to play with. The location is perfect as you can walk 15mins to Tamarindo or just 5mins to playa langosta. There is a great small store right around the corner where you can pick up anything you need. Overall we loved staying here and the condo has everything you could possibly need. The property manager met us here for arrival and was helpful in making recommendations about the area. We can’t wait to return!

So many things to say! The owner was a delight to work with; very quick to reply and help with our inquiries. The pics don't do it justice. The unit was great for 2 couples; plenty of room, everything you needed, fantastic patio to sit out on. The pool was terrific and we met a lot of nice people around it. We were met at the airport by a driver arranged by the owner, thank you! The property manager met us when we arrived, another great touch! The location is just great; close to walk to two beaches which we did most days; seemed quick to walk into Tamarindo along the beach. A little grocery store just around the corner where we got things for breakfast and lunch. We went out for dinner most nights; a taxi into town was only $5. The weather was hot and sunny every day! The people who live in CR are so very friendly! We saw monkeys in the trees across the road; colourful birds; iquanas. We did a sailing trip on the Antares, highly recommend, and an estuary tour that was about 2 hrs. and great! We had memorable meals at Seasons, Dragonfly and Pangas. We went to the Thursday night market where we tried all kinds of food! A week here is not long enough! We are already talking about coming back and visiting the rainforest areas first and finishing up here. Thank you Kathy for a fantastic vacation! Jean/Canada

Nice condo. We had a few issues but William was very prompt to resolve. Good location.

What a wonderful experience staying in Tamarindo at Villa Guapinol. The unit was large and comfortable. So nice to have a fully furnished kitchen and although we did not cook big meals it is so nice to wake up and make coffee and sit around the beautiful swimming pool. Another great amenity is having a private washer and dryer designated to this unit. We used it daily to have clean towels for the beach A short walk to Playa Langosta Beach and Tamarindo. The long flat beaches were wonderful for a morning stroll or a more intense run to start the day. Restaurants were wonderful and the people were friendly. What an amazing time we had with our family. The excursions recommended by Alonso and William were wonderful. They were very knowledgeable regarding the area and helping to set up transportation for the adventures. Shopping was abundant and a great time was had by everyone.

First of all, the place is beautiful! Great interior design provides the perfect tropical vibe for your relaxation! Really close to the beach, and right in-between Langosta and Tamarindo. Choose your beach! Walking to Tamarindo to beach bars, restaurants, the Saturday Farmers Market, and downtown shopping is a breeze. When you are done beaching it, come on back home to relax around the pool and even fire up the bbq for some home cookin'! Having a fully equipped, private laundry room is very convenient and a life saver for week-long plus stays. The kitchen is stocked up with anything you would need. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and plenty of closet space. AC and ceiling fans keep everything cool throughout. Bottom line for me is that I think I found a place I will return to often! I highly recommend it!

Can't say enough about a wonderful location, clean, comfortable beds, great two private bathrooms, kitchen fully stocked, washer and dryer, and what a relaxing outdoor pool and patio. Touring Tamarindo was so much fun and we even had lobster. The property management company was outstanding. A great thanks to Alfonso and William for helping us with taxi's or giving us wonderful ideas to site seeing. We tried so hard to make each day last and have wonderful memories, but dang vacations go by so fast and now we have to plan another visit. You won't be sorry for this rental !!!!!!!!

Just freshly back from Tamarindo, I can't explain enough what an amazing experience we had! This home is peaceful, in a great location (short walk or bicycle ride to beach access, food, shopping, etc.). Everything you need to thoroughly enjoy your vacation comes provided, including the amazing service of William. A true home away from home, including an amazing pool. Explore Tamarindo and Langosta, find all the amazing things they have to offer, you won't regret it! Thank you for an incredible life experience and Pura Vida!

We loved this rental! Perfect size, great kitchen, and the pool was fantastic. We spent a lot of time on the patio and even used the bar b q one night. Not many people around so we really felt like we had a private pool. Alfonso and William were very helpful, getting us taxis and booking excursions. We felt at home at this place and I highly recommend it to others.

This was the perfect place for us! It didn't take us long to feel right at home. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. The location of the condo is perfect, the walk to the beach is just a block away, and Tamarindo was easy to get to. We enjoyed riding bikes, hanging out at the pool and relaxing on the patio. Alonso was a game changer for us! He was so helpful in getting us a car and making reservations at a hotel in La Fortuna. That was an amazing trip! All in all we had a wonderful time, I would say Magical! We will be returning, probably sooner than later!

Stayed for a week. Easy walk to 2 beautiful beaches and shopping. Everything we ever needed was there. Alfonso and William were available to help out with all our needs. great time!!!

We rented a car in Liberia and had to drive to Tamarindo at twilight; kind of scary but made it fine. We were exhausted so went straight to this villa/condo! What a surprise! Gated parking, new construction, great interior and exterior, fully equipped kitchen, great decor! For the value, we expected a bit less in the way of comfort and leisure. The place was fantastic! The managers were the best. Later, after our vacation, we contacted the owner and have built a great friendship! This place was close to a great "gringo" bar and just steps to the beach with easy access! It was a 2 minute walk to a local store and a cafe. The pool was excellent and so private. We give this villa double thumps UP and will return soon! Can't be beat!

We loved this beautiful apartment for many reasons. It has a great kitchen, dining, living area that we found to be very comfortable. The sliding door led to the wonderful pool and patio area which was very convenient. So great to start and end each day with a refreshing dip in the pool! Both bedrooms have nice bathrooms and excellent, comfortable beds. Considering the long flight and getting used to the climate, it was so great to start our trip with a stay here. Very quiet and close to the beach, and also walking distance to Tamarindo. Really the best way to experience this area. Also great to have the little store, Italian pizza place and coffee shop just around the corner. I highly recommend this.

We really enjoyed the condo, the pool and the convenience to the beach. We loved being able to cook our own meals when we wanted. Loved being close enough to walk to town to eat, drink and me merry on the beach. We loved Alonso and William who helped us booking excursions, getting taxis, cars, etc.

Beautiful, spacious, and very modern. Property was is very well maintained. Tamarindo is a great place, which always made us feel welcome, which made my 1st vacation out of the state's very enjoyable. The property is an joyful ten minute walk to downtown Tamarindo.Beach access is even closer, and very beautiful. Two very big bedrooms, each with their own private full bathrooms, along with the open floor plan are features tht make the house THE desired place to stay on your next trip to Costa Rica.

What a wonderful experience! It’s clear that no detail was overlooked during our stay at Villa Guapinol. We arrived to a basket full of fresh fruit and coffee, received attentive concierge service, and excellent maid service. The condo was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with anything a chef could desire. The facilities are well maintained and the pool is pristine. I will definitely be referring friends and we will be back for another stay!

Tamarindo ~ no better cure for life♡ This condo is absolutely beautiful!! It's located steps from the beach, near top star resort hotels. You're in walking distance to town. Everything is at your fingertips.. if you'd like to go to the jungle shuttles are available. There are so many things to do you would never get bored or you could just lay and relax by the beautiful pool outside your back patio. it's such a nice experience, different than staying in a hotel because you have the top of the line amenities however if you choose to cook you can or go to one of the top restaurants like Longboards in town. The people are extremely friendly~ there is surfing, horseback riding, off roading, ziplining, sailboat cruises... to much to list. The property management company is excellent. I highly suggest if you're going to Tamarindo to stay at this condo.

My boyfriend and I accompanied two of our close friends to Costa Rica and we stayed at this wonderful place! The owner left us a treasure map of wonderful places to visit while there ! What a beautiful magical place we cannot wait to return! Everything you could possibly need within this home away from home and the sunsets were like heaven ! Very romantic . The beach within walking distance we had the pool basically to ourselves the entire time we were there. I could have stayed forever was hard to go back home amazing time in an amazing place Thank you! 😀

This was the perfect place to stay in Tamarindo. The beach is a 3 minutes walk, the pool is steps from the patio door and dinner in town is about an 8 minutes walk or a $3 taxi fare. You can enjoy the fun of Tamarindo and then escape to the peaceful quiet evenings in Playa Langoste. The modern kitchen is fully equipped for cooking meals with all the goodies from the Farmer's Market. It easily accommodates 4 or even 6 people with two master bedrooms and all the amenities you need for creature comfort. If you want an adventures just ask your host. Kathy has all the information you'll need for sailing, surfing, dining or taking a day or two to explore Arenal volcano and the Tikoku hot springs. She can also tell you the best place to get a massage at the quiet end of the beach.
