This was our second time to stay in this fabulous home. It’s located right on a main section of Lake LBJ and is close to the sandbar where the kids like to hang out. We caught several perch right off the dock. I love the big modern kitchen with the long table so I can visit with the family while fixing meals. I wish we could have stayed longer to take the kayaks for a spin. Our favorite place to stay!

This property is the best. This is the second year we've stayed here and will definitely be back. It has something for all ages and you will never be bored. Located easily to many sites and it's easy to go out or stay in. My husband caught more fish than we can count and we also visited the Longhorn State Caverns on this visit. See you next year.

Second stay at this property- love that you’re literally lakeside! The view never gets old. Even in the middle of a hot summer, it’s always nice in the shade, w a breeze, or in the lake itself. Love having our fur babies able to travel w us and have a secure yard to play in. Beds are comfortable, wifi is consistent, and pool/ping pong table are nice additions. Karen is easy to work w and quick on communication! We’ll be back I’m sure!!

This is our second stay at this very lovely property. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The property owner is absolutely amazing, so sweet very responsive and easy to get hold if the need arises. The lawn was pretty and green with shade trees in the back yard. Kitchens and bathrooms were fully stocked with most anything you need, including body soap, shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom! Beds were very comfortable. We love to fish and this is the perfect place! Just step out the back door, walk a few steps and sit on the covered dock. We spent all our time fishing and caught a nice bunch of catfish and several huge hybrid sun perch. We look forward to our next stay at our favorite spot on Lake LBJ!!

Our second time there and we'd stay there again. Good value compared to a fully updated/new house. Being steps away from the water was great and it is a larger part of the lake with open space on the other side so you don't constantly hear a mower going and the boat traffic is a little further out. The layout of the bathrooms between the bedrooms is a little weird, but we were only two couples so we just used the other room.

The moment you walk through the front door you feel like you are on top of the water. The property was clean and had everything we needed. One of the best water front locations we have stayed at in Kingland. Loved the fenced in backyard, big docks and shade trees. Overall 5/5 and would definitely stay again.

We have stayed at many properties over the years and this was one of our favorites! This house was very clean upon arrival and the yard was freshly mowed with nice green grass. The boat lift was perfect for our ski boat we brought. The pool table and ping pong table gave us a much needed break from the afternoon heat. We also enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught several nice sized catfish along with many sunfish. The location of the property is great, very close to HEB and restaurants. The house is located on the perfect spot of the lake, nice wide open area with plenty of room to play! Karen is a top notch host, she maintains the property herself and does a fantastic job at it. It’s very clear that she works hard and wants her guest to have a great time. We will definitely be back!

We had a group of 14 ranging in age from 71-12. There was plenty of room and supplies for all of us. Great location right on the water. We were able to to enjoy water sports and fishing and just spend a nice, relaxing time with family. Karen was very easy to work and communicate with. The house is well stocked. Had a great week and experience at Karen’s place!

This is a fantasy property! The pictures don’t do it justice. The house is just steps from the water! We had 6 adults, 2 kids and 1 baby and the space was perfect! The kitchen had everything you’d want! The owner was so prompt in answering our pre-trip questions. She reached out to make sure we got in alright. This was a gem! We can’t wait to come back again!

We just rented the first week of June and absolutely loved this property! It fit our needs perfectly with the 3 BR/4 BA set up. Everyone had their own space but definitely enjoyed our time together as well. We enjoyed the pool/ping pong table inside, but it doesn't compare to what waits for you in the backyard! The view is glorious! You're right on the water and get so many things to play with. We literally used and tried everything - the paddleboard, the kayaks, the SUPs...and of course, we enjoyed just chilling on the rockers or adirondack chairs. I felt safe with my dogs in the yard (there is an enclosed doggy area on the side yard, but our dogs preferred staying with us in the main yard area) and one of my dogs loved swimming in the water (just be careful, as they should be monitored at all times, the boat traffic can cause a wake there in front of the house and if you're dog is not used to swimming, they could get in trouble)! The AC is good and strong, which is nice in these hot summer months. There is plenty of shampoo/conditioner in each shower, light switches are labeled...all of these things are just a sign of a good host who has thought things thru for their guests. The grill outside was clean and full w propane, another nice touch, as we've been to some rentals where the grill was yuk and no propane! I had read other reviewers say they have been back multiple times, and now I can understand why! We plan on being one of those families as well! :)

This is the fourth time we’ve booked this property. Easily the best value on the lake. Owner is incredibly responsive—this is her house so you get so speak directly to the owner. Great setup for multiple families—each queen room has a twin over full bunk bed also. Only weird thing is the door between the two master baths. Just a beautiful stay!!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday the last week in December at the lake with our 2 daughters. The house was perfect and Karen is a great host. I loved grilling steaks down by the water and eating on the patio with amazing sunset views. We also enjoyed the local restaurants and Longhorn Caverns, but the highlight was fishing off the boat dock with my family. We all caught several fish, including a huge 35+ pound catfish! I can’t wait to go back!

We had a group of 4 adults (two couples) and the house was perfect for us. One couple stayed on one end of the house in the primary bedroom. Although there are two separate bathrooms for each bedroom at that end of the house, there is only a door separating the two. Therefore, so that we could all have plenty of privacy, my husband and I slept in the game room. The game room turned out to be very comfortable for sleeping and has a large bathroom connected to it. We were all quite happy with the arrangements. Loved having the lake right out the backdoor. We caught over 40 fish! Playing ping pong was a fun bonus! The kitchen is organized and stocked with all pans, dishes etc. that anyone could need. This is a very lovely house.

Our host was attentive and helpful. The house was very clean and comfortable. You cannot beat the views or location. We brought our boat and had an awesome weekend on the water.

This property sits at the edge of the Colorado River and makes for a very peaceful vacation spot. The trees in the backyard provide great shade while you sit in chairs, relaxing to the waves of the lake. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a successful holiday weekend. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Spent the weekend here with 10 friends. The house was perfect for our group. The lake is right there in the back yard with an available dock. It's nice and quiet so you can enjoy just chilling on the water safely whether swimming, floating, or boating. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

All I can say is wow! This location is AMAZING! You step outside the door and the lake is literally 5 feet from the back door. The owner was very responsive and helpful. There are enough chairs for everyone to sit and relax and enjoy seeing all the boats going back and forth. We were able to dock our boat and it was great!! One of the best parts I think of this property is the view across from the house. You are looking at beautiful country. No houses!! Everything looks new in the house and having 4 bathroom was great for having a large group! You can swim in front of the house and relax. You will get waves from boats when it’s busy but your on open water what do you expect. Would absolutely stay here again! Awesome experience!!

This home is everything you could want! This is our 3rd time to stay here!! The house is beautiful with all the amenities you would need. The boat dock and outside sitting are so beautiful morning, evening and even during the day. We had amazing sunsets each evening You can easily see all the activities on the water. An added bonus is great fishing off the boat dock. The owner is so helpful, kind and considerate! We LOVE this home and will be back again year after year!!

Our family had a great time at this home. It was very clean, well stocked, had a fenced backyard which our lab enjoyed, was on a quiet street and is right on the water. Our teenagers enjoyed the kayaks and the stand up paddle boards. Karen is great to work with and very responsive.

We are looking forward to going back next summer.

This was the perfect place to stay. Cozy, clean and nicely updated from the pictures. Everything you need for a great family vacation. Will definitely be booking again.

Our entire family vacationed at this home. The lake is literally at your back door. The scenery is beautiful. There was something for everyone to do from ages 10 through 72 not even including water activities. We took our boat and was able to use the lift which made it so nice. There is a paddle boat, paddle boards, kayaks, pool and ping pong table, and lots of games. There were plenty of outdoor chairs. Plenty of comfortable beds and very spacious rooms. We love to cook and barbeque. There was a nice gas grill, metal barbeque barrel , and fire pit. It has a nice large picnic table on the covered patio. Lots of indoor and outdoor lighting. It even has a large ice chest on legs for you to put drinks in for outdoors. With the large table in the kitchen and the picnic table outdoors we were all able to eat inside or out. The kitchen was wonderful with everything anyone could possibly need to cook for their family. The stove was nice and clean and the refrigerator was enormous. We were able to store everything we needed for our entire stay so we didn't have to go back and forth to the store. But if you do need to go to the store, there is an HEB just minutes away. When you look at this home inside and out you can tell that a lot of hard work and love went into redoing it after the flood in 2018. The hostess is very easy to get in touch with and answers all of you questions quickly. We are very thankful to have found this home. We loved it and treated it like it was our own home. We are already looking forward to going again.

Great location right on the water. Having the kayaks and paddle board available was a great bonus. Kids loved “their” room, especially the pool table. Host was very responsive.

Our family absolutely loved this house. We utilized the boat slip which made it really convenient to have our boat lake ready with no hassles getting in and out. Our family loved the lake access so you could jump in right outside the back door and also heading out for a full day on the lake, grilling hamburgers for dinner and relaxing with ping pong games at night. The location is wonderful and family friendly. . Morning coffee outside watching the boats go by, feeling the lake breeze and listening to the birds was so relaxing. Karen, the property owner was very quick to respond to questions and really wants her guests to have fun. She was so accommodating. We definitely want to go back and make more family memories.
