Clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed unwinding by the fire after a loooooong day of golf at one of the many fantastic local courses. Communication was prompt and helpful. Highly rated stay!

Sunsets in the front of the house and beautiful sky views from the back. This house was amazing. There was enough room for all 10 (8 adults and 2 kids) of us to lounge around and enjoy ourselves. We lacked nothing to bring to the beach or just have fun hanging out. The golf cart and the elevator were a plus. We are already looking forward to staying again next year.

I just love this house and it so beautiful. The scenery is amazing. The house was accessible and accommodating for the special needs of our family. The hostess was very helpful and the house had everything!

If views are what you are looking for - this is it!! Water views from almost every window. Beautiful home - nicely decorated and the best part is a private suite off the master upstairs for enjoying alone time - reading etc. Would def stay here again!

This is our 3rd time staying at Ravens Nest and we always have an incredible time. The house is clean and well-equipped with the best views in Cape Windsor. We highly recommend this vacation rental and hope to be back again soon.

This is a beautiful, well stocked property. Not just linens and supplies but kayaks, bikes, kids toys(clean, not cast off's), life jackets (we went swimming right off the dock!), even a golf cart to get around! I don't know how, still hasn't turned up after unpacking, but we lost one of the TV remotes, yikes! But the landlord was so cool we went on Amazon and overnighted a replacement and she was awesome! We're going back next year!

Mary was an outstanding owner/host. She was very responsive to any questions we had. The house was excellent for our group of 9 (6 adults, 3 young children). The house was fully equipped with everything a family could need. Mary thought of everything even down to the replacement batteries of TV remotes. Thank you Mary for an outstanding family vacation!!!

What a wonderful home for our 4-generation family vacation. The home was even better than I had expected and I thought it looked wonderful in the listing. The amenities provided went above and beyond. We enjoyed making use of the bicycles, golf cart, kyaks, crab traps, fire pit, PacMan machine, etc. The home was stocked with extra accomodations - wood for fire pit, laundry and dish soap, etc. The beds were comfortable and the new linen service they are using made it easy for us to just strip the beds and place our towels and bed linens curb side for checkout. Mary was quite responsive to any questions we had.

The owner was very thorough with check in process and instructions were easy to follow. The house was exactly as advertised. We had stunning sunsets over the water most nights. We were able to park in the garage (with 2 vehicles) and use all amenities in the garage. My favorite surprise was the video game snuggled into the corner of the sitting room. We had a wonderful time.

If it wasn’t for the view I would say this house is just ok. First of all there are so many rules about the towels and sheets they provide. We were told we had to wash, dry and fold all the towels we used AND put them back EXACLY where we found them which btw had to be done by check out at 10:00 am because at exactly that time the “cleaning lady” would be there to get the home ready for the next renters. Well luckily for us we only used a few towels and my daughter brought towels from home. So we washed the towels days before check out. We were also instructed to strip the beds of all sheets and pillow cases and put them in the laundry room so they can be washed as well. Nothing was said about taking the comforters or mattress covers off. So I’m guessing they don’t get washed between renters. I will be posting pictures of the bed pillows without the pillowcases so you can see how dirty they are. Fortunately for myself I brought my own pillow too. Unfortunately for my daughter and cousins they used the ones provided by the owners. We were on vacation and not there to wash towels! The furniture and other items in the house were dated. There was only one bedside table in all the bedrooms there should be 2. The refrigerator made constant noise and the ice maker didn’t give the proper ice when selected. I’m sure that wasn’t cleaned either between rentals cause the tray was full when we got there. The curtains in the MB had a layer of dust on them as well as the curtains in the living room. The hairdryer on the 4th floor was broken, the blinds on one of the windows in the LR weren’t able to close cause the wand was broken and the towel hook in the MBR fell off the wall when I tried to hang my pj’s on it. There was stickers on some of the windows throughout the home saying “not to open” that window. I did like all of the toys available such as bikes, kayaks, crab traps & golf cart. The best thing about this house was the spectacular view at night. Although I was a little uneasy about how close the front of house was to bay especially when you had to back out of the garage. One slip of the gas pedal and you and your car were taking a swim. Also, the green cable box next to the garage door needs to be made taller or put a pole with a reflector on it so one can see it over your cars hood. Don’t bother bringing a big pick up truck with you cause I don’t think it will fit in the garage or the small space next to the house. Also NO street parking.

Amazing find! So happy to have found this beautiful house with an elevator for wheelchair accessibility. Gorgeous views and so glad we could bring our dogs. Very clean and well kept with all needed amenities. Only downside was that screened porch and top floor deck are not wheelchair accessible (if looking for wheelchair accessibility). Back patio was wheelchair accessible though which made for delightful family s’mores nights around fire pit, overlooking the water.

We were a first time renter but will definitely be back! Communication was great, the house was so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend

We could not been happier any where else! The views were perfect, the house was perfect, the elevator was perfect for my 82 year old husband and my special needs daughter, the hose was clean and well equipped, hope we can do it again next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a fabulous week at Ravens Nest. The house is beautiful inside and the views can’t be matched. It is a perfect place for families to get together with the amenities of the pool in the neighborhood along with all the items available to use such as bikes, golf cart etc. Mary was SO nice and responded to any questions very quickly. We will definitely be back.

This house was absolutely fantastic. My family and my wife's sister's family were all able to fit comfortably in this spacious home and had a wonderful time. The house is crisp and clean and was just a joy to spend time in. Definitely would recommend for anyone looking to vacation in the Fenwick Island area!

It was perfect for us! Large rooms, very well equipped kitchen, spectacular views from the front screened in porch facing the bay and the balconies/deck facing the canal in the front.

I am very happy I found the listing on Vrbo - it was really the perfect location for us for this kind of trip. I believe this house is on the best street in the neighborhood and has the best view. It was so nice to look out in the mornings at all the herons and egrets, right in front of the house. Using the kayaks from the beach at the end of the street worked great too, so if the water is too low in the canal, not a problem. I was very impressed with the design of the house too. It was really as I imagined: compact but with plenty of room for those who had to work to get out of the way and have some privacy for meetings and phone calls. While I could see that the front/back plan is pretty standard for a lot of houses in the community, this house is really functional, super clean, and very tastefully done inside. We felt right at home. And again, this house has the most to offer with a very nice patio and back view, and an unobstructed front view that is really the selling point. I hope we can return some time and enjoy Ravens Nest again!

This property is even more than described. Not one detail is overlooked. The kitchen was more than well equipped and the attention to every little detail in the decor is stunning. We wanted for nothing during our family Easter weekend trip. Family ages from 65 to 3 were all entertained. The home is beautiful so very well cared for and in perfect condition. The third floor provided us grandparents the absolute perfect “suite” while the rest of the family had the entire 2nd floor for their use. S’mores around the fire pit, kayak and bike rides, golf cart to the playground and “digging for treasure” at the little beach. What more could these happy parents and grandparents have wished for. Oh did I forget the amazing views both sunrise and sunset. Our family will definitely consider renting again.

My family stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my mother’s birthday. We had everyone from an aunt in her 70s to my teen sons. The house is beautiful, very clean, and stocked with all the kitchen essentials you need to cook all week. We love the open kitchen and living area for everyone to be together but it was especially nice to have the upstairs for my teens to hang out and watch their shows when they wanted space from the rest of the family! Although the weather wasn’t the best, we still snatched a half hour here and there out on the deck or the screened in porch. I had a wonderful time and hope to stay again soon.
