The house was extremely comfortable. With the best equipped kitchen we have had in our 15 years coming to OBX. Hot tub was a great evening activity, along with all the amenities that Corolla Light has to offer it made our stay so enjoyable. Bikes available for our use was nice as well as the kayaks. Enjoyed a bay sunset from out on the water for memories that will never be forgotten. Definitely would look to stay here in the future.

The house was exactly as the listing stated. Great location as the trolley stop was right across from the house and beautiful views of the sound. Very clean when we got there. Plenty of extras in the kitchen and having the beach chairs and kayaks was a nice touch. Other than a few minor issues we all had a fabulous time and would rent this property again in the future.

From start to finish, everything about the experience was exceptional. The location was perfect, the accommodation was outstanding, and Gina's hospitality was beyond compare. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable experience. I will definitely be returning in the future.

This house worked out perfectly for our extended family. We were all here for a family wedding and were completely comfortable. The steps were a little difficult for some of our family members.

OBX did not disappoint! We have a large family with children of all ages. This home was absolutely perfect for us. The kids loved the hot tub in the evenings after a day at the beach. The tub in the master bath was personally my favorite. The large dining room table was perfect for meals as well as the back deck with a large grill and sitting area. Our family loved the over sized chair in the living room so much that we are currently shopping for one. Thank you so much for a comfortable, clean and memorable experience.

We had a great time at Never Monday Villa. The property was well kept, with plenty of room for two families with lots of kids! The house was on the sound side but close to everything Corolla Light has to offer. Communication with the owner Gina was easy, and she always got back to us right away!

Second time in OBX area. The soundside is for sure a “go back to.” Gina was informative on our questions prior to stay and during our stay. Looking forward to our next visit ! Beautiful sunsets, great location for walking. Dog friendly is always a plus, cages provided which made more room in the car. Loved the privacy walking area for our dogs under the house!

We were there for a family reunion. The house provided for our needs. Traffic getting on and off the island is difficult but once there everything is near by. Paths take you everywhere or there is a shuttle to assist. Thanks for helping make this an fun time.

We are a low maintenance family. We don't need front row or beach side it have a good time. Never Monday Rocked! Communication was never an issue. The place was exactly what we were looking for. Great location to access all resort amenities, beach, sound, and town restaurants and shops. Owner was awesome to work with after property managers jacked up the check in process. Gina quickly got everything resolved. I would highly recommend staying here.

Outside of house was not as well cleaned up as I would have hoped but inside was very clean. Some of the drawers in bedrooms were broken especially in the bunk room. The location was great. The number of bedrooms was perfect for us. Host was very responsive ! Loved the proximity to the sound and the sunsets!

This trip was 2 years in the making because of COVID and it didn’t disappoint! We traveled with my husbands family for his parents 50th wedding anniversary. The house is very spacious and clean! The house is a rental so there is wear and tear but nothing outside of the normal rental. The kitchen is well stocked and has all you need! All of the beds were comfortable and the new washer and dryer were awesome! The management company was pretty quick to get back to us for anything we needed. My only wish is the that bikes were in better working condition. There are several but many were in really rough shape. Brakes not working, flat tires, rusted and broken chains. I know being outside by an ocean it is hard to keep them nice. Great to have them if they worked. The resort amenities are AMAZING! The pools, restaurant (for lunch and dinner awesome!), and activities are all in great condition and well maintained. The house location is super close to the sound right out your back door. We were able to watch the 4th of July fireworks there and it magical! Make sure you read the information for what is included with the house. They do not provide hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towel or toilet paper (outside of 1 roll). I didn’t read it well enough and totally missed it! There are grocery stores near by to get all of it. Just something to make sure you know before you go! All in all this was a great house and a BARGAIN for the area! Corolla is a beautiful and there is so much to do while still quiet and family oriented. Gina is awesome and I appreciate her kindness and prompt replies!

Clean, spacious, comfortable—all good reviews! Trolley stop is across the street that will take patrons to the oceanfront and 2 pools at the ocean. So convenient! Can walk to the sound in 120 foot-steps. Highly recommend!

The check in process was too easy. Easier than I expected. Location was perfect. Hope to book again.

The property was great and met all of our needs. We had an issue with one of the TV's but was promptly addressed. The house is well stocked in the kitchen and beach gear with bikes. We were in town for a wedding and didn't have time to use the Corolla Light amenities much but it's a great benefit to have the trolly take you to the resort or only take a short walk/bike ride to the fitness center.

We had a great time at this rental. The community was really nice and the pools were too. Communication with host Gina was easy.

I wish I had read these reviews closer before booking. You will see that my concerns are shared with others that stayed here. We had amazing weather and the owner was very responsive but at the end of the day the property is VERY overpriced for the level of cleanliness. Outdoor spaces were practically unusable due to pollen and pine needles and yard degree. The grill was rusted out. The beach chairs, bikes, buckets, umbrella, and more were very dirty and the hose in the carport to clean them was broken. Spider webs were inside and out. Mold in the freezer/ice bin… and more. And the pools were closed beachside. Either the management needs to do a better job preparing this house for the price they are charging or the price needs to be lowered to set expectations. I’ll be staying somewhere else with my family next visit.

My siblings, spouses, and cousin, all over 60, rented this property in mid-September, and we enjoyed our stay. As other reviews stated, there are a couple of little critters hanging around, but nothing that wasn’t manageable. The house could use some TLC and sprucing up, especially outside areas, as compared to neighboring houses. Overall, we enjoyed the property.

Great location. Amenities like kayaks and dog crates were great. Gina was very responsive. The inside was clean, and beds were comfortable……but unfortunately they are having quite a problem with bugs this year. There were tons of spiders, some ants, and palmetto bugs. We had spiders in the car that hitchhiked home. We backpack and love the outdoors so a few bugs wouldn’t have phased us. The outdoor spaces were also not cleaned at all before we arrived. We let the management company know and they just said it had been bad this year. We cleaned the outdoors and it lasted the week, so definitely just not getting done.

We had a great time at Never Monday. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us. The kitchen has plenty of counter space and the large dining room table was perfect for family dinners and games. The outdoor shower was a great bonus after the beach, which was only a 10min walk. Access the the resort pool was fantastic. Parking is tight but it was only a 10-15min walk or you can take the trolley which stops outside the house. Working with Gina was great, any questions or issues I had were answered immediately. I would recommend this house for for family stays.

We loved Corolla and being able to use the amenities in the Corolla Light resort. The house was plenty big enough and was only a block from an ice cream shop. It was also extremely unique to be able to walk right out the back to the water and see gorgeous sunsets. However, the decks on the house were not usable due to the excessive amount of spiders and webs. The only door we felt comfortable going through was the garage entry. All others were covered in webs. We also had a significant amount of spiders and ants inside the house. Gina was very responsive when I contacted her and she reported this info to the property management company. They came by to sweep some of the webs off the ceilings. This removed some of the spiders, but we continued to see them throughout our stay. The other properties nearby didn’t look like they were having the same exterior problems that this one was. I really think that the property needs some major cleaning and a good pest control company to get this back in shape. If that happens, the property would be truly a great place to stay.

The house is very spacious with enough rooms to host our party of 11 perfectly. The high chair and pack n play were awesome to have and not have to travel with! The kitchen is fully stocked and proximity to the sound and beach can’t be beat! However…our problems mostly revolved around the cleanliness of the home and the multiple people who showed up to fix things without any notice from the property management company. We appreciated terminex coming to spray as there were many bugs and spiders (including roaches). The screened porch and parking area underneath are full of spiderwebs and have obviously not been cleaned in some time. We understand there will be bugs but this seemed excessive. The dishwasher and dryer did not work and we were not made aware of this prior to our stay even though you can see by other reviews it’s been an ongoing problem. Someone came unannounced to look at the dishwasher and dryer and then another person was sent back out to fix the dishwasher. The dryer hadn’t been fixed when we checked out however a maintenance person was there to look at it. Of course we appreciated the people come to fix things but some notice would have been appreciated. Especially when spraying for bugs as we had 4 children in our party and it was raining so we were stuck inside with the fumes. I want to make sure everyone knows that communicating with Gina is easy and she is very understanding. I believe the issues are more with her property management company and housekeeping and not with her, as she seemed to be as frustrated as we were. Overall there were definitely pros and cons to the house but I believe that if the appliances had been working and the home had been cleaned a little better there would be no reason to not give 5 stars!!
