Having lived in Galveston for almost 10 years, we know the island very well. This property checks all of the boxes. Karen, the host, is excellent. She is highly responsive to all questions and concerns and makes sure that your vacation goes well. The condo itself is modern, well cared for, and very clean. The location is close to everything yet quiet. The furniture is comfortable as are the beds. The unit is actually nicer than portrayed in the pictures in my opinion. My family and I would definitely stay here again.

This place was great for our family. The unit was clean and organized, and we had everything we needed for making our meals as well as going to the pool and beach. The view of the pool and ocean is excellent, and the walk to the beach was about 10 minutes from room to sand. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, and we loved having the dining table to gather around. Communication with the owner was exceptional. We had a great time and hope to return again.

Karen was a good host. The condo was clean and nice. Diamond Resort amenities were great for kids.

Rental was amazing! The pool was cool in both the day and the night. Lazy river had a nice current. The staff gave us a small problem getting wrist bracelets for our last day to swim but overall everything is amazing! Highly recommended! Would definitely do this trip again!!! Property manager was great, kind and gave us a quick tour of the property!

Karen met us and gave us a tour at this very large property to be comfortable immediately. The condo was perfectly appointed and the location was better than I thought. We were less than 10 minutes from everything. I highly recommend this property and the owners were 5 star. All you need to bring is your bathing suit and sunscreen and any food for your stay. EVERYTHING else is provided. Thank you for a lovely experience.

My family and I have rented this unit each year for the past few years, and we continue to enjoy the experience. Karen keeps the unit in EXCELLENT condition, and the unit always comes stocked with beach towels, some pool / beach toys for children, toilet paper, and other supplies. The unit is always VERY CLEAN, and Karen is VERY RESPONSIVE! My family and I look forward to renting again in the future!

This was the perfect place for our family (3 adults and 2 kids). The listing was spot on. The communication with the owner was the best we have ever had at VRBO. The big lazy River and the gas grills for lunch were a perfect 10. The 3 tier pool was huge as well. The hot tubs were actually hot. The pool slide was not open, but we were there the week before Memorial Day and it should open soon. Great vacation spot. Highly recommended. Will be back.

Superb condo in the best place to stay in the island, indoor pool, large outdoor pool, hot tubs, lazy river and beach access... Did I mention arcade/game room, cinema and spa? We will keep coming here from now on! Highly recommended.

It was was not only beautiful and comfortable, but the owner went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay! We look forward to returning to this condo for years to come.

Karen was great! She met us upon arrival and showed us around. The unit was nice and clean had plenty of towels and dishes. There is a store across the street that has some groceries and toiletries for anything you might need to grab, also across the street is a little restaurant that was pretty good and delivered. The slide wasn’t operating as people have stated in previous reviews and the swim up bar could have been better. Overall our stay was great and if we ever return we will absolutely rent this unit again.

Where can grandparents entertain their 13 & 14 year old grandsons, and two 17 year old beautiful Seniors, and keep everyone happy? DIAMOND BEACH! Pool, lazy river, pools, Gym, movie room, Game room and the condo was perfectly appointed and was beautiful We will have an annual trip.

We stayed in this condo for our spring break. Communications with Karen leading up to our stay were great, she was very responsive and thorough. When we arrived she met us to show us around the condo & complex and took us to the front desk for check-in. The condo was very nice and very well-equipped. There were a ton of bath and pool towels, games, pool/beach toys for kids. Plenty of essentials in the kitchen so you can cook any meals if you plan to stay in. The pool and lazy river were very nice, a touch cold for my taste, but my son had a great time. The slide wasn't open when we were there, but we knew it wouldn't be. We loved being on the seawall, which was closed to car traffic. If we ever go back to Galveston, we wouldn't hesitate to stay in this unit again.

This is our second time to stay at Diamond Beach, but first time with this host/condo. Karen was excellent to work with, stayed in constant commutation with us throughout the process, and was extremely accommodating. A hurricane went through Galveston two days prior to arrival. Karen immediately reached out and offered to change our reservations. We decided to keep our reservation. The day of our arrival, and outside of her control, the resort closed some of the amenities to the resort as a result of damage from the storm. Karen contacted us immediately to let us know about the closures, offered a full refund, or to discount our agreed upon room rate. This was completely unexpected, but much appreciated. We decided to make the best of our trip despite the unforeseen circumstances. The condo was perfect and had everything we needed to enjoy our satay. Most of the amenities were open, but Karen still refunded us some of the rate due to not all of the amenities being available. This condo was clean, had everything our group of six needed including: kitchenware, beach towels, beach toys for the kids, board games, and furnished with modern amenities. We couldn’t ask for a better condo or host. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CONDO AND HOST! Thank you, Karen!

The condo unit and the owner were wonderful. There was a minor plumbing issue and it was corrected quickly. The overall property has gone down some since last year. Some cleanliness of the pool and lazy River as well as facilities. Seems like a staffing issue. Hope they get it resolved since this has been our go to place for years.

This property was meticulously maintained. Karen did a fabulous job of communicating with us prior to our stay and while we were there. We found all to be in line with what was presented online when booking. Karen was so helpful with providing us with good information with regard to things to do in the area and good restaurants to check out. We loved our time at Diamond Beach and would definitely go back!!

This was the best property I've rented at Diamond Beach so far. Absolutely loved the condo. My grandson, age 3, loved the jungle kids klub, the cinema and the pool. We will definitely be coming back.

We had an awesome weekend here! The condo was clean and well equipped - I really appreciated that it had a pack n play and high chair for my baby. The view was stunning and it was a nice size balcony to sit and enjoy the view! The beach access was great and we loved that there weren't many people at this part of the beach. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub, pool and lazy river even though the water was a bit chilly but we expected that for early April. We would love to come back when its a bit warmer to enjoy all the amenities! Karen was super responsive and informative about any potential inconveniences. Would highly recommend this location based on the owner, amenities and location! Thanks again!

The condo itself was beautiful. Unfortunately the heated pool hot tubs and slide were all closed and the regular pool was freezing so we were unable to use any of them. The lazy river as well, open but ice cold and full of palm tree leaves. Otherwise a very nice spot!
