We had an absolute blast on the lake. The space has a lot of amenities. Clean. Spacious. Great views. The dock was fun! Very secluded. The lack of Wi-Fi or strong cellular was welcome for us - unplug and splash in. Great access to other areas of Lake Crescent too.

Stayed for three nights and would happily have stayed much longer. House was perfect for our family, room for everyone to spread out, the view was amazing and swimming off the dock was a favorite. As we knew going in, no wi-fi and little cell reception but it was nice to read, play games and just enjoy the view. So much to do in the area, we barely scratched the surface.

Our whole group loved this property! Beautiful, relaxing view that photos just can't capture. Cozy furniture. Great for kids and grandchildren (toys, crib, pinecones for gathering). Well stocked for travelers. The perfect distance from civilization. Little pleasures like the bird's nest out the kitchen view, notes with a sense of humor (the fireplace) and my favorite - the the bottom floor concrete is stained the incredible blue of the lake. We were very disappointed that my niece from Seattle could not come on the property for dinner or even to meet there before heading to the National Park.

We had a wonderful time here! The property is absolutely gorgeous with stunning views of the lake. Very clean, well stocked and easy access to the lake. The dock is absolutely magnificent, it truly was hard to leave! Hope to visit again soon.

As other reviews have stated the photos truly don’t do it justice. We walked in at check-in to gorgeous full turquoise lake views that light up the entire living room. Almost every room in the home has a lake view. The home was in very good condition and well stocked for our needs (we grilled and cooked in a few nights). The dock felt brand new and was a great morning hang out spot and fun place for kids to cannonball into the lake. I’d say the dock had great sun from 9am - 3/4pm for those looking for that (August). Very easy to access cabin and short drive to Crescent Lake and other spots to visit. Only advice I’d give is to buy your supplies on the way into town (maybe Port Angeles) as the local general store is kind of spotty on necessities. Overall this place far exceeded our expectations and we could have stayed a few more days.

My family and I had an amazing stay at this property. The views from the living room are unmatched. We loved going down to the dock and watching the sunrise every morning. The home is very spacious and clean. We loved the privacy, but also being close enough to port Angeles to grab groceries or dinner. This is the perfect location for adventures around Olympic National Park. We did lots of hiking and even took the hour drive to the Pacific coast line to explore the beautiful beaches there.The home is even more spectacular in person than in the pictures. There are several updates that are not pictured, including a brand new dock. Do yourself a favor and look no further. This is the spot to be. There is a lower level of the home that was perfect for kids with a spacious room and living area. We had absolutely no complaints regarding this home.Book now!

This place was fantastic. Was comfortable and peaceful. The lake is a showstopper. I've never jumped in water that cold and never enjoyed it so much. It's clear, clean and sooo nice. Will have many memories of us jumping off the dock and into the water.

We couldn’t have been happier staying here with our two little kids to explore this side of Olympic NP. 5 minutes from East Beach, and only 10 to Lake Crescent Lodge, the Spruce Railroad Trail, Marymere Falls hike, and pretty close to Hurricane Ridge! Not to mention being right on Lake Sutherland with a dock. Beautiful views and plenty of space. It didn’t take away from our enjoyment at all but the hospitality could use some work — no binder of places to eat and things to do in the area, which is a strange omission considering there is no Wi-Fi. Our baby crawled into a glue trap and it obviously would be good to know ahead of time if those are around. No soap in the showers. Stuff like that could be improved but the owners do seem nice and we would 100% return! Again, it’s a spectacular spot I think anyone would enjoy.

My friends and I loved the place! Great, new dock when we arrived. The home has plenty of space to chill and relax and take in the views. We particularly loved the back porch!

We were blown away by this property. The location is absolutely something out of a fairy tale. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. Hope to return someday! We have absolutely no complaints. Bonus: There is a bald eagle's nest and we had multiple sightings and could hear them chirping.

This house is amazing. The views are incredible and is so cozy. The house had everything we needed and Mark was quick to reply and communicate. The pictures don’t do this house justice! We loved sitting out on the updated deck and jumping into the lake. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

I could not be happier with my stay at the lake house, it was exactly what I was looking for. From the amenities as well as the location near all of the great parks and sights to take in near Lake Crescent, I was extremely pleased. Everything was well appointed, with fantastic views of Lake Sutherland from anywhere in the house and a beautiful dock at the base of the grounds. The hosts were exceptionally attentive and prepared everything to make my stay hassle-free. Cannot recommend it enough!

Stunning location and house, just a pity very little sleep was had due to the appalling plastic mattress protectors. There are plenty of very comfortable mattress protectors out, but these beds had horrible plastic ones that made us over heat and due to the nature of the plastic sheets the bedding kept coming loose and left us sleeping on the bare plastic. Unfortunately turned what should have been a perfect stay to barely tolerable in the end as everyone was on edge due to lack of sleep. All of which I find such a pity as if it wasn't for this one small but highly impactful thing the place would have been faultless

A beautiful home by the lake (which was refreshing to swim in!). The house was in perfect & clean condition with a well equipped kitchen. Note There was no soap or shampoo (e.g. in the downstairs bathroom) and the recycling was full, but none of that really mattered for us to be able to fully enjoy our stay. Thanks!

Great quiet spot on lake, owner responsive and good communication

The Pros: The house and view were beautiful. The location was perfectly central to the activities we did nearby. The kitchen was well stocked with everything. I asked ahead of our stay if they had a crockpot and was told no, but actually found one when we got there. We had a blast diving off the deck and playing in the water. This would be a five star review for all the fun we had, but there are some significant issues I must mention. The Cons: (Less important but worth noting) The thermostat and TV were both very confusing. More significantly my husband and I struggled sleeping on a mattress with a plastic cover. It made the bed uncomfortably hot and the sheets were loud against it. The most frustrating thing of all is that after all the time we took cleaning and doing the laundry, and leaving the home in the same shape we found it in, we were denied our deposit. The instructions warn against the sensitivity of the septic system and we took the suggested precautions by not flushing after every use. There were seven of us using two toilets. During our stay we spent hours away from the home for our excursions, and additional hours on the lake. When we left both toilets were in working order with no issues to report. So you can imagine my surprise when days later I'm messaged by the owner that a plumber was called to clear a toilet. I asked for clarification and received none, as well as not receiving my deposit. So even if you have normal bathroom habits, you have been warned.

Great views of the lake. This place was very serene. Very out out the hustle and bustle of the world around you. Cell phone coverage is limited, WiFi would be a welcome option.

This property has been the highlight of a month of touring. The location of this house is beyond amazing. I couldn’t begin to say how beautiful it is!!! Home comfortable and well appointed. We are definitely coming back! Highly recommend.

Much more beautiful inside than we realized from the photos. The ONLY thing I wish we'd had on hand were kayaks or inner tubes for the kids to use, with some life vests, and maybe a rowboat at least.

Great place to take in the beauty of the PNW! WE were busy exploring Olympic National Park, but could have been happy just spending time with family in this great location!

Beautiful home in a great location. Enjoyed relaxing on the small dock and around fire. Home was clean and owner was quick to respond to questions. My only complaint would be that unfortunately we lost power the first night for about 6 hours. But this was due to a scheduled power outage for road construction. Would have appreciated a heads up. However the home is wonderful and I would definitely recommend. Hope to stay again soon.
