The short walk (less than three blocks) to the gondola is hard to beat for skiing convenience. The house is understated but very nice, clean and functional. The hot tub was a great bonus—an amentity not available in many more expensive rentals. You get the feeling this is a house that is used by the owner and well taken care of. We had no problems and would stay there again.

This property is simply superb. Quality furnishings, lots of room, well equipped, perfect location in the town of Teluride. Host was amazing. Walk to gondola or resteraunts. Perfect family friendly property with games and hot tub... It was a memorable stay.

The location is ideal - two blocks from the river and two blocks from the heart of downtown Telluride. The house is very roomy - larger than it looks, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. All the necessities were thoughtfully provided. The property manager was very helpful in answering questions before and during our stay. We have stayed in many vacation rentals and Racers Roost is by far the best!

Our new go to fall destination for all things Telluride! We loved the location and comfort of Racer’s Roost. From the very first, we felt at home and enjoyed being so close to our favorite restaurants, shopping and hiking trails. The 3 bedrooms with en-suite baths make it perfect for couples or families

We love the house but it can get hot in the late afternoon. if you leave the windows open you hear the street noise of the late night crowd walking home. A King bed would help us middle agers stay cool and sleep better.

The house had everything we repeated trips to the market for minor cooking odds and ends. The kitchen had all the plates, flatware, glasses, and gadgets you have at home. There was a wine fridge, a smart TV with loaded with all the Apps you need (we didn't need to use the Roku Stick we travel with), parking, 2.5 blocks to the gondola, a few blocks to the market, restaurants, and all the other shops...you can get anywhere walking. The Weber grill runs on a house hookup so no running out of propane (we are heavy grilling folks). The house was immaculately clean and just-like-home comfortable.

The Welcome to Telluride crew (Pam, Kim, and Peter) were friendly and extremely helpful.

Though we didn't leave the house in a shambles, my favorite part of the checkout instructions were "There's nothing you need to do. Nothing with linens or towels. Just lock the door behind you."

Definitely staying here when we return.

Fantastic stay. Wonderful house with awesome location to lifts and town. 6 adults were very comfortable. Everything in the unit is first class. Super easy checking in and out. WiFi really strong. Multiple users worked very efficently at the same time. There REALLY is no need for a car either if you have transportation from airport.

We loved “Racers Roost!” Perfect location — within easy walking distance of gondola, restaurants, shopping, and groceries. This property was perfect for our party of 5 adults. Clean and comfortable. Short walk to the Gondola (even with skis) and to downtown. Clarks Market was also only a few blocks the other direction. I loved all the natural light throughout the home. Convenient back porch to store our skis. The property manager, Peter Loomis helped coordinate the grocery delivery so all our food was already in the kitchen when we arrived. Overall excellent customer service from Peter and Pam Specker.
