Our stay was awesome. The only issue was there was not a roll away bed and the 2 air matresses they brought us didnt hold air. If my kids would have been willing to share a bed not a hig deal, and we just had our youngest sleep with us. Location to the beach was amazing. It would have been even better if they werent so stingy with only 1 roll of TP and 2 trash bags though. Would come back for sure.

The condo is well located between Pensacola & Orange Beach. We liked it because there were many other families there and it didn't seem to be a party spot. The property is freshly remodeled and was very clean at check-in. The beach access couldn't be easier and the view of the beach from the unit is amazing. We woke up many mornings to dolphins swimming across the water!

My wife and I were in the area visiting family for Thanksgiving. This condo was clean and nice and fit our needs for this 3 night trip. It had a beautiful view of the beach. If you are planning to rent this unit, make sure you realize that it is an open floor plan. The building it is in is called Windemere and it is aging and needs to be significant updates.

Love the closeness to the beach and pool. The condo is very comfortable and super clean. This is our second stay here and we have loved it both times.

Thia was an incredible stay, on the same story as the pool. Please be aware, that being on the same level as the pool it is one of the few condos without a private balcony.

We have fallen in love with this place! The apartment is super equipped, clean, comfortable, modern and warm at the same time! the view!!!!! beautiful beach, sunrise, sunset! We all liked the pool!!! and the communication with the managers was 100%!! We will be back in the summer!!!

My daughter and I have stayed in this unit for several years and we love it. It's a corner unit, so it is very bright, which we love. It's small, but it's perfect for us. The kitchen is appointed with everything we need. The bed is super comfortable! We love that we can easily walk to dinner, after a lazy day of lying on the beach. Honestly, we love the unit, the location and Period Key!!!

The condo itself was nice, comfortable, clean and met all our needs. It worked well for myself and my 2 sons (age 20 and 11). The location of the condo was great. It is on the 3rd floor and you walk right out to the pool and down 2 flights of stairs to the beach. It was ideal for myself and my kids. However I do not recommend Luxury Coastal Vacations. The condo was accessed when we were at the beach (my doors were locked) and customer service during check in was not satisfactory. I appreciate a company that is transparent and this company lacks in that area. It appears this company will tell you what you want to hear but fails to follow through. I would like to rent at Windemere again but I will not use Luxury Coastal Vacations.

This was a very nice condo! Very clean and decorated nice. We are a family of 3 and it’s perfect for a small family. We would definitely stay again. We loved waking up to the beach each morning. The Windermere building was nice as well.

Wonderful condo with a perfect beachfront setting!! Couldn’t ask for better access to the private beach. We will be back but may stay in little larger condo next time.

Perfect condo for a couple. Only negative we talked about was the balcony is open across the 3rd floor (no privacy) but it is convenient if you wanna take a dip in the pool. Beach was nice a quiet! I would recommend and we’ll be back.

Yes, the views of the Gulf were spectacular, but ... I was not to happy with some other things. First - the rental agency - Luxury Coastal Vacations. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. The communication between us was always timely, informative, and accurate. I would recommend their agency to anyone. Secondly, the condo itself. There is no way to change most things I will mention since the condo is obviously built. I’m just not sure that the architects who designed this unit gave much thought to the people who will occupy the condo. There is one door in the entire condo - is the bathroom door. The bedroom has no privacy whatsoever. You must walk thru the bedroom to get to the rest of the condo. If you have guests and they need to use the restroom at night they must walk through the bedroom. The location of the washer/dryer - It is in a cabinet that sits between the kitchen and the living room. It is so noisy that it is impossible to talk or watch TV. There is no wall between condos on the balcony – so no privacy. All of the floors above this one have the divider walls. This was a major negative for me. Thirdly, the furnishings which, I assume, is the responsibility of the owner. The bedroom is very nice and there is a large flatscreen TV on the wall. The chest is against the wall in the hallway. In the living room nothing matches, except the end tables with the coffee table. The sofa/sleeper needs to be replaced. If you try to sit on it you sink down quite low. I opted for the only chair available, an armless straight chair. The kitchen is quite small with very limited counter space and just a few cabinets. There is no pantry for food storage so I ended up storing it in the living room in the entertainment center below the TV. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes and utensils, and all appliances are in great working condition. The bathroom is done very nicely. There is no doorstop for the balcony door. It has a strong door closer and there is no way to keep it open if you want a nice breeze coming in. There is no light in the kitchen except the chandelier over the table which is about 10 feet away. So you’re left preparing food on the stove top with the hood light on. In conclusion, I personally would never rent this unit again - just too many things I don’t like that tend to make your trip a little less enjoyable. I have tried to be objective and present both the positives and negatives as I saw them.

They were working on the exterior of the building so the pool and hot tub were closed which was a bit of a bummer. However the remodeling work done on the unit is excellent and the view of the gulf was fantastic as always.

My daughter and I visited Perdido Key for the second time, in as many years. The beaches were incredible! The food and atmosphere in the restaurants were exactly what we wanted from a beach vacation. The property is in a great location and the unit we got was nearly perfect. The only negative thing I can say is that the sofa was broken or poor quality. This issue did not take away from my “rating” as we were only in the room to sleep, so the couch wasn’t a big deal, but I could see it being an issue for some. At the end of the day, we had all the space we needed, a comfortable bed and easy access to the beach....you can’t ask for more than that. Thank you! We will be back.

This was our third time staying in this room and we love it!

Everything was fine other than when we first got there the Kitchen light was setting on the dinner table, thankfully didn't fall while we're there. We called the maintenance people and they fixed it.

What we liked: location on Perdido Key, 1st level on the end, view of ocean (!), decor, the master bed, covered parking, kitchen appliances, rental beach chairs/umbrellas, same-level pool concept, convenient outdoor stairway to beach access (in concept, but failure in reality), good TVs, good communication with rental company What we didn't like: Bad den seating -- the den sofa was terribly uncomfortable to sit on -- it's worn & needs to be replaced. Internet access is spotty -- couldn't find the cable modem & router to reset the power because they were non-descriptly hidden in the wall in the closet. While awesome in concept, the outdoor stairway just outside the beachfront door was closed off and blocked DURING PEAK SEASON -- the concept was a big factor for us choosing this place, and it was a real bummer that it wasn't usable (we feel like we out to get some of our money back due to this). They should've had this fixed immediately, given it was peak season and a lot of people were there - no excuse. Lastly, there's no way to lock the beachfront door from the outside, which ruins the advantage of having it on this floor. In concept, we could've walked out the back over to the outdoor stairs and gone to the beach, easy. But the door and those stairs were unusable -- great in concept but a flop in reality.

No place like the emerald coast

Was a little worried when we realized the balcony was the same as the pool deck. It was actually very convent. There wasn’t much space to dry towels outside, ours were out on the chairs and came up missing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo looked just as advertised, and the views were amazing! We had an issue with a broken lock on a door that was fixed almost immediately. We were fortunate to have enjoyed much of our stay before the pandemic became as it is now. We would stay again! The only suggestion we have is that it would be helpful to have some staples available (salt, pepper, a few spices) so that not everything needs to be purchased. Loved having the washer/dryer! Went home without dirty laundry😊
