My wife and I planned a last minute getaway in the midst of packing to move. The cottage was quiet, cozy, and just as described. Sitting in the hot tub with a lake view was amazing, especially with the waning gibbous. The host was very prompt at responding to our questions. We hope to be back in the future.

Property is very clean, nice place to relax and enjoy the view. Great communication with property manager she provided a detailed list of things provided/needed as well as activities near by a day before we arrived. We’ll definitely visit again.

The lake cottage was awesome. It was just a few feet from the water. Hot tub was easily accessible and worked great. Views were perfect from every room. Neighbors were extremely quiet and privacy fence was great. Plenty of towels and robes for the hot tub. We used hot tub every day. Night time lake views are awesome. Parking was right next to front door. Cottage was very clean. Wifi was perfect. We always bring an extra smart tv in case our sons room doesnt have one. Worked great. Bathrooms were large and super clean. Beds were comfortable. Many restaurants and pubs close by. Great location overall Owner answered all questions immediately. We didnt have many because instructions were so good. We will stay here again for sure. If Eileen lets us lol

Me and my husband rented this property for the weekend for our 16th year anniversary just to relax and do nothing and watch the sunset and sunrise over the lake was a bonus beautiful location

Walking through the door gave us the first impression of clean and nicely decorated property. The rooms were in a great location to the kitchen and bathrooms. Thanks for the high quality toilet paper! The hot tub was nice even though the weather was cold and easy to use. We would for sure book again when in Celina.

Very nice place right on the lake and in my communications with the owner, she seemed very nice. The were a few minor issues with plumbing, etc. But the main issue for us was the poor housekeeping, There was what appeared to be dog hair clearly visible on the 1st floor bedding along with human hair. The was also some hair in the freezer. Dead flies in light/fan fixtures. Dust all over window sills, ceiling fans, artificial plants, etc. This place could easily get a 5 star rating but I can only give it 3 stars due to the lack of proper cleaning practices. Would like to stay again in the future, but only if I know the cleanliness will be greatly improved.

Clean, cozy and comfortable!! Great views of the lake, especially from upstairs balcony. Perfect for a weekend get away or a longer stay. Kitchen provides everything you may need and cottage is close to shopping and restaurants. We would stay again and would recommend to family and friends. Thanks for sharing with us!

Great place to get away and watch the scenery from the back patio. Property layout was amazing. Parking is a little difficult for large vehicles, would advise the listing to reflect info to avoid issues. Hot tub was a great feature. Would recommend some maintenance to the property but otherwise a great place to relax and enjoy the lake.

Edgewater Cottage was lovely. The view of the lake was spectacular and couldn't be better.

My husband and I enjoyed the relaxation and the gorgeous view. Its not far from town, but enough out of the way that you don't get much noise. It was peaceful, the hottub was perfect, and the kitchen was stocked well.

My husband and I visited the cottage for our 14 year wedding anniversary. The cottage was clean and cozy. The views were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. It was so peaceful sitting on the dock with my morning cup of coffee. We also enjoyed the small downtown of Celina just 5 min away. We definitely recommend the Edgewater cottage!

I brought Matthew to the cottage for his birthday. The views are amazing, and it was very tranquil and serene. The perfect place to just rest and relax. It gave perfect opportunities to reconnect with self and each other. We will absolutely return as long as the cottage is available.

It was a good property. Good location about 6-8 mins from restaurants & shops. Not secluded, neighbors close by on both sides. But they were quiet, it rained the whole time so we werent out much.

I've been to this property multiple times. Breathtaking views of the lake along with the location and upkeep of the property keep me coming back.

We had a great stay at this lake front rental. We loved the views and relaxing on the deck and especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Clean and cozy, with very comfortable beds in a nice quiet setting. Communication was great, and we really appreciated them accommodating us with an early check in after our 9 hour drive from Maryland. Conveniently located to many great shops & restaurants in Celina, and just a half hour drive to Eldora. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will be top of list for our next visit.

Very clean, well-appointed, lots of amenities in the cottage. Beautifully decorated, nice neighborhood, and the lake view is beautiful!! Very accomodating host and great communication. Lots of good places to eat and get a cold drink close by. Can't wait to return!!

We debated between two places to stay at and we couldn’t have made a better decision than Edge Water! The cottage is nice, clean, with wonderful lake views. It is also still convenient to shops and restaurants in Celina. We’d highly recommend!

We enjoyed our weekend. The hot tub is warm and inviting. Watching the sun come up in the mornings over the water from bed was a highlight. It's clear many people enjoy this place and it is well established from the guest book. The cottage is right next to a nicer neighborhood that we went for a walks in. We ate at: Bella's Italian Grille - okay food, the service was nice, make sure to ask for a table by the window - the lake view is the best part, the women's bathroom is weird and the kids loved making their own pizza and the Spidy-Spritzer (grenadine and sprite). The Fountain Restaurant - is the best reviewed restaurant in town according to Google Maps and it is clearly a local hangout. The food is mediocre and the people watching is suburb. We loved getting some groceries and making food at the cottage the most. There is a Goodwill a couple minutes away and we picked up some games and puzzles to keep everyone entertained. The only negatives were the overwhelming fragrance when we arrived, open windows cleared it out in an hour or two. Also, the windows hadn't been opened recently and were quite dusty. It's a perfect size for a family of four.

We went for a girls trip and had an amazing time. The cottage is so cute! The hot tub was very nice. The bed were comfy as well. The downtown was super cute as well with some yummy places to go. It was very easy to check in as well. We would 100% go there again!

We were lucky to get to stay several days at this little gem. The location was perfect and the views did not disappoint. The hot tub was fantastic and the stars at night were beautiful. Close to shopping and plenty of choices if you want to dine out. We will definitely make plans to return!

The perfect girl’s weekend! This property provided everything that we needed for a quiet weekend away. The proximity of the cottage to the water is a lot closer than what it appears in the photos which was great because we were able to hear the sound of the waves crashing - it was quite windy during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the living room with the gas fireplace. We will definitely return.

Property itself was amazing and its location on the lake was perfection. The hot tub was the highlight of the stay especially since it was chilly. We struggled with food options and delivery but otherwise it was great.

It was awesome best view of the water!! Loved the jacuzzi it’s design for the lid was cool. Easy to get off and on. Very relaxing and charming inside. We had a good time. Super bowl was great !!!!

The home was exactly as portrayed. Well equipped, comfortable bed, amazing views from the walkout deck in the bedroom and the back yard. Hot tub was wonderful and we loved the extra touches with the robes. The fireplace was so cozy. Thank you for the wonderful getaway. :-)

Easy process, great home. Private, but not isolated. COLD in December!!!!! 😄 But a great experience. Would do it again.
