This place is perfect for a large family, or groups of friends. Plenty of bathrooms and beds. We loved how at home it felt! Communication was clear and timely. 100% would recommend.

We loved this place!! The host was great at communicating and quick to answer questions. In addition, they shared local things to do. The house was just as pictured and described, was clean, and had plenty of room. There is also a park across the street if you have young children. We would definitely stay again.

My parents, husband and I with our two kids, plus my sister and her husband all stayed and it was perfect! The host was easy to reach with questions and so helpful. She even gave lists of things to do in the area. Highly recommend!

The house is nice and clean. Jan was great. The house plans are kinda weird. The 3rd bedroom is in a shed. To get to the shed, you have to go to a bedroom where someone sleeps, go in to one of the bathrooms, and exit the house from the bathroom across some stones in the backyard…. The bedroom that you have to walk through also has 2 bathrooms in it…. But it was nice, and luckily the person we had staying in the shed and in the bedroom were comfortable with one another

The best VRBO experience yet! Jan was very accommodating and helpful with everything! The house actually looked BETTER than the pictures if you asked me! Will definitely be staying here again when we return to Anchorage ❤️

Jan was such an amazing host. We loved the property! The kids played in the "clubhouse" in the backyard. We would return just for this place for them to go and play! Jan provided toys and was so accommodating in helping us come up with things to do in the area. We had a great trip!

Our group enjoyed this home. It was nice for each couple to have there on bathroom and space. We are parents on vacation to watch our sons play baseball in Alaska! This home was appreciated during our stay in Anchorage.

We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s house while in Anchorage! Her house is pristine clean and very roomy with four bedrooms, very comfortable beds and 31/2 bathrooms. Our group of seven had more than ample room. Every amenity we needed was there (except laundry soap, so bring your own).Jan was a gracious host and communication was excellent! She helped us when our schedule was delayed and adjusted our dates. FYI detached guest house doesn’t have its own bathroom but a short walk to the main house has a very lovely master size bathroom accessed from the outside. It was not a problem for our group as the guys stayed in the guest house. I highly recommend Jan’s house if you come to Anchorage and I look forward to staying again.

Fenced back yard. Kids and adults enjoyed playing cornhole, which was supplied by the host. Park across the street where all enjoyed walking, playing basketball and frisbee.

Our family group really enjoyed this property. Jan is extremely responsive, helpful and friendly. The property is spacious and well maintained. The location is convenient and the park directly across the street is fantastic for kids. Highly recommend!

The best part about this property is its owner, our host Jan Durrington. She responded promptly to all question-texts and provided a very clean and comfortable dining, visiting, and sleeping environment and experience. We appreciated the number of beds and bathrooms. All were used by our 10-person party. Our youngest guest was 18 months old, and the VRBO provided pack-n-play, highchair, and inside toys that kept her safe, comfortable, warm, and happy. The 4- and 6-year-old girls loved the trikes and bike as well as the indoor toys. The adults enjoyed the outdoor dining space, table, and multiple chairs. We also enjoyed the yard games, like corn hole, balls, and frisbees. We were in Anchorage for our son's wedding plus some private excursions. This place provided just the space we needed: comfortable beds; clean bathrooms complete with hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and creme rinse; essential light-blocking window dressings; kitchen with coffee pot (and coffee!), stove, oven, microwave, sink, dishwasher, all necessary utensils, some spices, and more. We couldn't have asked for a better VRBO experience. Thank you, Jan!

Jan was very accommodating! We loved the mattresses and slept well!! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. All in all it was a great stay and I highly recommend this property!

The house is adjacent to a park - very little traffic and quiet.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this park view location. The place is quite deceiving at first look. Once inside the space is goes on and on. Everything you need is easily found and the owner was very gracious with any needs and her time. The neighborhood is great for walks with very little traffic in the area. I will definitely share with friends to look forward coming back.

Good for a big group.

A group of us came for work, it was the perfect set up for us. Super clean, nicely decorated, great electronics, perfect set up to sit and work together and then have our own space.

We absolutely loved this place!! There were 6 adults and loved each bedroom had their own bathroom and we had queen and king size comfortable beds. We were there when they were having their heatwave so it was great having a ceiling fan in each bedroom. The house was well equipped. Only thing we couldn’t find or wasn’t there were dish towels for drying dishes. Found towel in closet that worked. Other than that the place was great! Jan responded to my emails with questions in a very timely manner. We would definitely come back to this place if we ever visit Anchorage again. Thanks for sharing your house with us!!

Helpful information was included about the house, area, and points of interest. And a worry since we were coming during the solstice was that there would be too much light to sleep, but there were great blackout curtains in all the bedrooms. We had three couples and a solo friend staying together and the four bedrooms worked out great for us. Luckily the solo was close friends with one of the couples since to access her room in the separate building out back required her to walk through their bedroom and the exit was actually through the full bath that lead to the backyard. It was a bit odd of a layout, but it worked for us. Everyone in the group commented on how nicely setup the house was. The sitting room was ample and the TV and wifi worked great. Nobody mentioned any issues with having enough hot water even though all seven of us showered in the mornings. Overall a really nice place to stay and convenient to the freeway, shopping, and Costco.

I am a travel agent and I booked this for 4 couples for 2 night in Anchorage after a 7 night cruise. They loved the house and the location. They enjoyed the house so much they stayed at the house the whole time before they left for Denali and Fairbanks.

The home has been updated. It is comfortable, functional, and clean. Had plenty of beds and bathrooms. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner were well stocked. In fact everything was well stocked. Plenty of fluffy towels. We enjoyed walking the park across the street. It was a busy park, but was never loud or bothersome. Enjoyed the home.
