This condo is great! As others have said, the view is unbelievable. We really enjoyed our stay here.

You can't get more oceanfront than this!! Sitting on the balcony watching the sunrise and watching the surfers every morning was so peaceful. The beach house is right next door and is our very favorite place to eat. The unit has been very well taken care of and very clean. We would love to rent this unit again in the future.

The view is amazing! We seen sea turtles and surfers every morning from the Lanai! Condo is well equipped. The pictures do not do this place justice! Loved the location! Hope to stay here again.

My wife and I decided to come to Kauai for our honeymoon. We love to explore and experience as much as we can so we divided our trip into 2 parts. Starting on the south shore and then heading to the north. This property, the south shore and all it had to offer were all perfect. The property itself had an amazing oceanfront view. There were Dolphins, sea turtles, fish, crabs and surfers enjoying the ocean right out front of the condo. We went snorkeling at the beach and there were so many different kinds of fish. The beach house restaurant next to the condo, along with every other restaurant on the south shore, were absolutely phenomenal. There was no shortage of things to do! The hostess was hands down the best hostess that we’ve had the pleasure of staying “with”. She had coolers, towels, snorkels, chairs and everything you needed for a beach day ready to go on site. Any issues we may have been having, she was very quick to respond and help get it figured out. All around we HIGHLY recommend this stay and this hostess . It was PERCECT!

Incredible views and super close to the water! We spent each morning on the incredible balcony drinking coffee, eating breakfast and watching a spectacualr surfing show from the locals! And you can watch giant sea turtles each day right from your own balcony! Close to all the activities too. Loved this place!

Excellent swimming and snorkeling outside your door. Beautiful hikes and boogie boarding beaches a short drive away. The view is tremendous especially if you enjoy watching surfers, turtles, sunrises and sunsets. This condo was perfect for us.

We love staying at Kuhio Shores due to its location, views and amenities! This was the first time staying in this particular condo, but we have stayed at Kuhio Shores at least 9 times! Susan was amazing from check in to check out, allowing us to change the dates, and stay longer! The condo had absolutely everything we needed and more! If you are debating between condos, this is the best choice!

The location was great and the unit was great. The third and fourth days we were there it rained really hard and water dripped from the ceiling the whole time. It was coming in to the unit above us I think. Also, we had to leave after five nights of our eleven nights due to covid19 and we didn’t get a partial refund or credit, nothing!

AC in one bedroom only, but the fan in the other bedroom sucked the AC into the room from the living room unit, so it was fine.Local contact very responsive....front door combo lock wasn't working and she came to look at it right away.Kuhio Shores is an absolute find. Beautiful spot. Second tier unit with a perfect view of the water. We had four adults in our group and it was just right. Very clean with everything we needed. Hope to go back.

Great south Kauai location, panoramic views of the ocean from sunrise to sunset. Surfers out front are entertaining. Excellent snorkeling right next-door. Local food trucks and markets, along with restaurants for great eating experiences. Highly recommended and would absolutely love to stay there again. Air conditioning which is a plus but with cross breezes only needed it part time during August stay.

Loved this property and the condo. Watched turtles and surfers from the Lanai right next to the ocean. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Beach gear such as coolers, chairs and umbrella were very much appreciated. Kids loved it here. Definitely would book again!

We loved staying at this property. The views were amazing. Everything is well-stocked. There are beach towels, chairs and snorkel gear. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Would love to stay here again.

The property has everything needed for a great outer island vacation - at your fingertips. Having AC was great - important because Poipu can get hot and stuffy. Parking not a problem. The property was clean and well maintained. We’ve stayed at many VRBOs, and you never really know what you’ll get until you walk in the door. This unit is one of the very best. You can have complete confidence in this property booking sight unseen. Highly recommended.

We LOVED our stay here - you can't get any closer to the water and you can sit on the patio and lawn out front for hours watching the sunrises and sunsets. Excellent location - the air conditioners work really well - it's nicely decorated and updated - sleeping mats for the living room are comfortable as well. Would love to come back!!

We spent 8 nights in this condo, and had a wonderful time. The location of the condo can't be beat, steps from the ocean, and walking distance to nearby shopping and restaurants. The condo is equipped with everything you could need for your vacation, coolers, beach chairs, umbrella, all made our daily adventures around the island that much more enjoyable. Great snorkeling is right next door, and the view of sunsets each night were a great way to end the day. The condo itself is in great condition, with updated kitchen and bathrooms and all around just very well maintained. Definitely recommend, and we wouldn't hesitate in returning here in the future.

Susan was a pleasure to work with. After booking and paying, Susan let us know that some construction would be going on during our stay. She was flexible with the fee and dates to keep the disruption to our vacation to a minimum. The condo itself was well appointed. We had chairs, towels, boogie boards, binoculars, a telescope. All we had to rent was snorkel gear. We enjoyed watching turtles feeding in the surf every day and watching the surfers, right from the lanai. There was even a surfing competition one day. I saw other reviews that complained about the noise from the restaurant next door, but we never heard them, even with a couple of wedding parties going on while we were there. Know that the beach that is next door is very small and not a great place to hang out, but it has the best snorkeling on the island. I swam with a turtle on my first day in the water. Poipu beach is a pretty short drive away if you want a hang on the beach area. Never stayed in a place so close to the water. Would stay here again!

Such an amazing condo with everything handy and well thought out. Located near shops, tour vendors, restaurants, beaches, most within walking distance if you wanted to walk. Best thing for me was sitting either on the balcony or in the back lawn and watching the turtles and surfers. It was so relaxing and what I will greatly miss going back to “real life”.

We had a great time and really enjoyed watching the surfers from the lanai. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Would love to stay here again.

This was one of the best rentals we've ever had. The location, the views, the rooms..it was like we were living in our place. Susan and Larry have thought of EVERYTHING to make a vacation care free. The property is in a great location with snorkeling and surfing right out the door. It also felt more like a community and less like a tourist area. We've traveled the globe, and we put Kauai and Poipu 218 in our top 3 of all time. Perfect in every way. Thanks again Susan and Larry for sharing this paradise!
