We spent 3 weeks with our old dog in this house. We enjoyed the area, it’s great for walking and golfing. Friendly neighborhood and great restaurants nearby! The house is very clean and comfortable and the hosts are friendly and responsive.

Great location, very clean and dog friendly. The perfect combination. It was so nice to have a dog friendly rental and not have to make any sacrifices. They are experienced host and it shows. Easy walk to private beach access and some restaurants. The fenced backyard was a plus. Definitely recommend

Wish weather had been better. But this place is fabulous. Rode bikes everywhere, even over bridge to Jans. There is so much to do and Jan and Van have a book with it all laid out. After we found the tiki across the street it was our favorite place for a cocktail at night. Van suggested we watch the full moon rise and it was amazing. Relax and enjoy is all you have to do. And our dogs were in heaven. Be careful if the have man of war? Warnings. That is a jellyfish type thing and our beagle ended up in urgent care. We think it was from one of those. Just an allergic reaction but of course Jan and Van were there to help with that. Great place

Just came back from 3 week stay at this property, house is wonderful and the owner is just fantastic. House is great for Dogs. Owners are very supportive of pets Only negative feedback would be neighbor next store can be cranky but we straightened everything out with her after a couple of days Overall great stay and would come back again

First of all, I can’t thank Jan and Van enough for opening this home as a beach rental. It’s gorgeous with open spaces, clean surfaces and new fixtures and appliances. The rain showers are amazing. There are three great size bedrooms for adults and an extra room with bed for your pup. The private backyard is a tropical dream. The pictures do not do this listing justice and you will be pleasantly surprised and excited to spend a few days just across the street from the beach. I spent summers in this neighborhood growing up in the 80’s and 90’s visiting my grandmother. Nothing has changed and it’s still the peaceful island oasis I have always dreamed of retiring in. From here you have access to restaurants, shopping, a neighborhood dog park, and a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The beach is across the street and access to the river is in the neighborhood. I have been wanting to bring my dog to my favorite beach on my favorite island and my stay did not disappoint at all, even in October. This house is geared toward people with pets and you will have a great time while here. I can’t wait to book again. FYI, the owners have provided every convenience. There’s also a book of things to do and places to eat that captures literally everything you can and should do when it town. It’s like having the local expert at your fingertips. I’ve been to a lot of beaches and that’s just Nowhere like Hutchinson Island.

This property was just what we were looking for to stay in town for a few days with our dogs. The house was outfitted with everything we needed from dog supplies/toys to kitchen items. Beach access was close by. We really enjoyed our stay in this house and in this neighborhood. Jan was an exceptional host, checking in with us and giving us ideas for things we could do with the dogs. We hope to get back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and had everything we could possibly need. The enclosed yard was great for our dog, and the house had everything you could need for a dog, right down to treats. There were several beaches in the area, including a dog beach. Our dog loved the beach. Just know that dogs are off leash at the dog beach, so you every experience will be different. Ours was great. The private beach was clean. The first couple of days there were barely any shells, but by the end if the week (we had a little storm) there were more, approximately 2 and half feet wide. It was not bad at all and after passing the small strip it was clear. This was truly a great house and place to visit. We did have 2 teenagers with us, there wasn't much for them to do but the beach, this was fine in our situation. But if you are the family that likes to do stuff, you may explore before going. There was a putt putt that we did, about 30 minutes from the house. We didn't really go out looking for those things tho. Lots of food options. We ate at big apple pizza, not a fan, cinco d mayo was good, brocks surfside pizza, really close to the house, was really good and serve was wonderful, Dolphin bar and grill was good, Kyle Gs was great but pricey. Strawberrys icecream and sandwiches was good, ice crea was great. Overall this was a great trip and wouldn't change anything. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and visiting your area.

Although I never saw a private beach, the one we went to was just a short walk and not crowded on most days. The house was very nice and I would rent it again. Wonderful stay!!

House was clean. Great place for our 4 dogs. The shower was really great! Jan is a good host. Convenient to beach. My son forgot to crate the dogs when we went to dinner so they barked by the back door. Neighbor complained they "kept her up all night," but we were only gone about 2 hours. Neighbor also complained we put the trash out the night before because the can was knocked over and a paper plate fell out. We picked it up and we did follow the instructions on when to take out the trash. Overall, was a nice place to stay and Jan was really nice.

Our hostess Jan was amazing and responsive at all times. The home is in a quaint neighborhood. Just across from beach. There was plenty of rooms and well equipped. If you have dogs this is your place. Jan clearly loves dogs. It’s close to some great restaurants that love dogs too! Archies, Kyle G and Magic Oyster. It was super clean and spaceship with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths so easy for a family. Outside was fenced in yard so pups got most of their play and romp time in. Safe neighborhood to walk around in and private beach with Tiki hut jut across the street. Dog beach 4 miles up the road and close to many quaint areas to shop and eat. We will be back! Just close enough (from Boca) to feel away from home without all the travel headaches. Thanks again Jan…!!!😊

This was such a nice place to stay... perfect for vacation and our dogs loved it. Lots of lizards to keep the dogs busy. Definitely would stay here again. Everything you need was already in the home.

Indoor and outdoor accommodations for humans as well as dogs make this a good place to stay. Nice kitchen. Great water views when walking the dog. Would make this a consideration for stay again.

The area and the property itself was beautiful. Jan made sure the house is ready for your vacation. She kept in contact with me continually since they had a storm the day before we arrived. The house is beautiful and excellent for your fur baby. We truly enjoyed this house above all others we have stay at. I highly recommend the house and the area. Love love loved it! Diana

I don’t know where to start! We had such a great time at this home we extended our stay! It is clean and spacious with a great fenced in backyard for dogs! We even brought our conure! There is a private beach access across the street and a public access with bathrooms next door. A walk around the neighborhood leads you to a dog park and a terrific view of the water. Jan was a wonderful host and was ready to assist when needed. Beach towels! Chairs! Fully stocked kitchen! Dog toys and beds! New washer/dryer. The list goes on. This will be our new spot from now on. Thank you!!

We came for 3 weeks with our old dog to enjoy a winter respite. The house is clean and well equipped. The shower is awesome!! We walked a lot with or without the dog . Friendly cute neighborhood near the beach. We cooked mostly but also found a few great restaurants! The owners were very helpful!

Property was clean and just across A1A from the beach. Our dogs liked having a fenced yard. The place was well equipped for the pups with crates, dog bed, couch covers and lots of toys. Van and Jan were easy to get ahold of and responsive.

Had a great stay here with our dogs. House was great, clean, well stocked, updated. Walk to beach. Cute neighborhood

We found a hidden gem in this property!! Very peaceful and quiet, and our french bulldog, Vito, loved this property!! We highly recommend this property!!

My husband and our 2 dogs thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cute beach house. The house is very dog friendly and had plenty of colorful lizards to chase in the fenced backyard. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was spotless!

It was great renting a house with a yard because we had two dogs. The owner put a lot of thought into this lovely, comfortable updated home. And the beach is right across the street!

We've stayed here several times and we love it! It's a great place for us and our fur babies. Perfect location, clean, beds are great, not too hard, not too soft! Great back yard for the dogs! The property was very well maintained, with a fenced in back yard our pups were in heaven. The house was everything we expected. We met the host and hostess who were warm and friendly and we had a great time. The neighborhood was also very well maintained and the dogs enjoyed the dog park. Close to many good food establishments and the hostess, Jan left a great book naming places to go to each differend beaches and sites to see. WIll book again as we loved the place and had such a good time on vacation.

Everything was AWESOME. Came to Florida for some beach time with the pups. The house was spotless, the yard was very relaxing, there was everything there that you could ever imagine. Beach supplies, grill, toys (kid and pup). We really didn’t need to bring anything but clothes. Lol. The pups loved it. Especially chasing the lizards around.

Great communication from Jan vrbo host. A very detailed book at property with information to help with the stay. A great pet friendly vrbo with treats and toys and even pet towels. An awesome location near the beach. Plenty of restaurants nearby and even pet friendly outdoor dining nearby. Loved the Magic Oyster and seaside grill at Stuart beach.
