This is exactly what we were looking for in a getaway home for 5 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of space to spread out and a quick walk down the driveway to the beach. We'll be back!

This is a beautiful spot. The view from the deck is wonderful. The proximity to the beach, the marina and Lopez Village made our stay so enjoyable. Inside the home there are many nice touches, comfortable beds, nice linens, comfortable spaces and plenty of space! I have never rented a house with so many additional amenities- fully stocked kitchen, fridge full of condiments, a great beach blanket.... Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The place is super clean and updated and our family really enjoyed our stay at your place. Thank you for all the helpful tips by Harvey! We especially enjoyed driving around and buying groceries from local farmers.

Great house!

Seven of us had plenty of room in this very nice house. The kitchen was well outfitted. The decor was attractive. There are three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs plus a foldout. The soundproofing between the walls on the main floor is not great so if you have someone who gets up earlier than anyone else, have them stay in the basement (where there is a second kitchen) and have the soundest sleepers stay in the upstairs bedroom that is closest to the kitchen--that room is closest to the bathroom plumbing and my sister said she was awakened each time someone flushed the toilet. These are minor items and not intended as criticisms. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We visited for a wedding and had a great time! The house was perfect for having kiddos with a separate playroom off the main living room area. The views were amazing! Loved our stay, already planning on coming back for a future visit!

The house was immaculate and well stocked. The house is very family friendly with a great collection of toys and books for all ages . We loved the layout of rooms and the garden suite worked well for our family . The location could not be better! It is just a short walk to the lovely spit and we could see the sunset from the beach and we took at least two walks each day. I hope we go back next year! A plus is the property manager Harvey who was very accessible and helpful sending lots of suggestions and excellent check in and check out rules we could easily understand. The kitchen is fantastic and there are even rain boots and a pair of roller skates!

Visited the San Juan Islands with 5 other for first time. Had heard alot about the area but amazed by the landscapes, variety and views, including the extremely well stock, well laid out location of this vacation property. Most every need or want has been anticipated even switches ,drawers, instructions labeled. Great views of the water, islands fr early morning before the sun rises thru till the sun sets fr many rooms. Walk along the spit out front w beach and water on both sides watching shorebirds use the tidal estuary...was amazing as eagles perched, saw resident herons...6, plus ospreys and kingfisher's. Came back 1st evening and 2 deer were sitting on the lawn watching the sun set as they and 3 white tailed rabbits scurried out of our cars way. This property and the location> a strong recommend! This house was a great find for us. We went as three families. The house had plenty of room and space for adults and kids. The view from the house was incredible. It was a perfect location to stage different trips to Lopez Village or to the various parks and sites around the island. I would definitely recommend it.

We had a group of 8 adults and had more than enough space. We all enjoyed going for morning runs/walks/bike rides out on the spit. We had everything we needed to cook all of our meals and appreciated all of the books that were available to read. We are an active group and made it to four locations around the island for some excellent sightseeing and light hiking. The location was perfect and Harvey was very accommodating.

We flew in from the East Coast for a family wedding with nothing but our carry-on luggage. It was all we needed. This beautifully appointed house provided for every comfort one can imagine. There were 10 in my party (myself, a sister, my son, a daughter and her 2 children and my other daughter, her husband and their 2 children) and we were all comfortably accommodated with private spaces. The enclosed den off the living room was a 5th bedroom and provided a couch that was so comfortable that my sister did not see the need to open it. The kitchen is well stocked. You can easily fix a snack or a 6 course meal for 12. The house is secluded but close to town and its phenomenal supermarket and interesting shops. The most important feature though was that it was immaculate. There is a nice yard for children to safely play in but the water's edge is only a short stroll down the lane. We were delighted to see a bald eagle in a tree just beyond our deck. Winter, spring, summer or fall, all you have to bring is yourself because this most amazing house awaits you. Harvey is an excellent manager who was very easy to work with and who answered all of my inquiries in a very timely manner. My family loved it there.

We had a large group on the island for a wedding - and this house was perfect for our family! It's a lovely home, with a beautiful view and great location. It had all the amenities needed - and then some. Close to the water and not far from town. The manager was very kind and easy to deal with. All in all, it was an excellent experience and I'd highly recommend it.

Home is clean, well stocked, fun toys for my 3yr old. Beautiful view and a nice stroll to the water. Very close to the village, more sheltered from the wind than southern locations of the island.

We just got back from our weekend on Lopez Island and had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully furnished and has everything you would need for a weekend away. The house is very roomy and would work well for large parties. The location is wonderful, at the end of a very charming spit and a short bike ride to the village. Harvey the owner couldn't have been more helpful with tips and hints about the island.

Between the charming peace of Lopez Island, ideally located between 2 bodies of water and the top notch mattress, there is little to want from discovering Lopez Island from this gem of a house. Harvey is just plain a pleasure to deal with, great communicator, flexible and very responsive. Every appliance one needs with spectacular views.

We shared this amazing house with 3 other couples - long time friends - to ride the Tour D'Lopez and celebrate 60th birthdays at the Islander. The house was absolutely perfect - we found nothing missing, the views were amazing and all the instructions and information Harvey provided in advance and in the house were spot on. I would (& already am) recommending this place to all our friends. We'll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful experience that started with great customer service by the owner who was ultra attentive and knoweledgable about what the island and his home had to offer me. The house was beautiful and had every comfort you would hope a great home would have. Very clean, accurately described and I plan on returning again as soon as my work brings me back to the islands. I was very impressed by the islands grocery store, library was AMAZING, and I saw three restaurants that I would gladly try out on my return visits. All in all a great experience, I cant wait to come back, great location.

We came to the island for a multi-generational family getaway and it was perfection. First off, Harvey is fantastic. From our first contact he was always very prompt and incredibly helpful. From offering all kinds of information about the house and places to go to throwing out ideas for meals, travel tips, everything. Throughout our stay he responded quickly if we had questions that needed answering or feedback to offer. He was a real gem. And then there was the house! We were so excited when we found it on line but the pictures cannot even do it justice. The setting is spectacular. We are a 5 minute drive from town, easy bike ride for our 10 & 12 year old - younger ones can do it too, traffic is light. Quick and easy to get to any part of the island or you can just stay home. The beach that is a 3 minute way from the house is calm and beautiful - it was never crowded. There is a pretty walk or bike ride to a conservation area at the end of the spit. You won't be disappointed! A note on size - we had 3 families (10 people) and the house was not crowded in the slightest - plenty of space to sprawl, relax, play.

The house is excellent for a big family to stay. It is huge, in a great location, incredibly well equipped, clean and light, with a big deck to grill and sit outside. The basement is a big house all on its own! We all loved it. Harvey was very helpful.

My family and I stayed here this summer for a week. Location has good access to shoreline and nature preserve walks. Home was clean and comfortable. We had some kids with us and there was plenty of room to spread out so kids could play, and grandpa have his quiet time simultaneously. Harvey was very helpful in answering questions both before and during our stay. Very memorable trip!
