The property was absolutely beautiful; the staff was totally accommodating and we loved our visit. If we had a need, there was someone there to take care of it. We used the kayaks, and set up scuba, snorkeling and golf cart rentals through the office. Every morning there was someone cleaning the beach and the sand. There are only two restaurants within walking distance but they were both good. I recommend La Perla for a wonderful, relaxing vacation.

The property is beautiful, it’s rare for us to find a place that our family of 7 can all have their own beds. We had so much space to spread out and hang out. There is plenty of supplies and they provide bottle water and ice. The property manager was helpful and set up a private chef dinner for us one night. The property is a 30 minute golf cart ride on a very bumpy road outside of town. If you want to cook your own meals on vacation it’s a great location but we had to drive back and forth every day. They do their best to keep the beach clean but we just used the pool. Secret beach is the nicest beach and it’s 20 minute drive. The WiFi didn’t work well which was a challenge when my husband had to do some work. It’s the perfect location if you want to escape the hustle.

The property was beautiful, spacious, and had so much room and amenities. The deck was our favorite spot with the babies and the pool was just down the stairs and sparkling clean. The dock was wonderful and breezy and a beautiful place to relax. All around a great stay

It was horrifying as the room they were in happened to have bed setup for my kids to sleep in. Spent months looking forward to this trip. Was not right to allow us book this room knowing that there is a roach problem. Seems selfish- as long as you get your money- who cares right?

First off, Michaela and her staff made our trip so enjoyable. She was available for any question, any request and helped us navigate an issue we had with our cart rental... on her day off!! The property is beautiful. We stayed in Opal (2 families of 4) and it was the perfect set up. We loved how quiet the area was. We drove into San Pedro several times and went to Secret Beach twice. We would recommend Blue Bayou at Secret Beach, The Truck Stop and The Garage. Having Sundecks so close was great too. We ordered salads from them several times during the week. We kayaked out to the reef and snorkled several times. If that's something you'd want to do, bring your snorkel gear! We will definitely be back to La Perla! Many thanks to Michaela! 😉👍❤

We had a great time at this beach property. The staff does a great job of keeping the grounds and house clean, safe and secure. We had a lot of fun fishing with a local charter company, Beach BBQ, snorkeling and swimming with sharks & rays, swimming at sunset beach, eating at new and different restaurants and exploring the area. It was a great experience and highly recommend.

Great restaurants within walking distance. Roberto is the tour operator for diving, snorkeling and fishing. Michaela and her housekeeping staff are amazing.

My husband has no complaints but I had a few concerns since I spent time in the kitchen and laundry room. The kitchen stove required matches to use. I only had one roll of paper towel & one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom to work with (we were a party of 11). The laundry room sink had a leak which flooded the room. The laundry room doors is off & didn’t close properly. The fans in the recreational room didn’t work but was fixed afterwards. Gorgeous view but when walking out to pier, the stench of the orange seaweeds was overwhelming. The property was very clean & well manicured by the awesome landscapers that worked everyday...raking the sand into patterns. Despite the little blemishes, our hostess Makayla, compensated by gifting us these amazing, beautifully-arranged fruit trays.Would I recommend this place to others? Absolutely!

Michaela and her entire crew were extremely helpful and quick to fill every request. Our kids were playing a corn hole game next to the beach, we left for a bit and came back to find a game in front of our villa. The attention to details was amazing. Don’t forget to have her connect you with Roberto fore Diving and Snorkeling. We will definitely be returning for another visit.

Everyone at La Perla Del Caribe was spectacular. The snorkeling just off the property which was accessible by complimentary kayak was exquisite. Maria Galvez, a local chef, prepared our amazing lobster Thanksgiving feast. Norma at Diamond Adventures arranged a full day catamaran snorkeling trip for all of us. The golf carts were there and ready for us. The location with the reef is the best reason to choose this accommodation and the wonderful hospitality directed by the lovely Alexa is a great reason to return! (Remember to reserve a grill in advance if you need it for a particular night! It all worked out, another tenant was finished by the time we needed it) Also, the 5.5 miles to town seems a lot longer due to the conditions of the road but that is just something to know. Travel can be arranged by boat to different restaurants or town. One night we even had pizza delivered by boat!

The pool was also closed far too often during our stay so there were a number of days that we had nowhere close by to swim which was very unfortunate with 4 children.

We loved the quiet locale and being on the north side. From the views to the pool to the white sand, the grounds are impeccable. The onsite staff is top notch and helped us handle many different excursions and situations. The villas have large beautiful decks and are furnished nicely. Just a wonderful vacation, if you want to really get away from it all.

The house was clean and the kids enjoyed both the pool table and the pool right across from our balcony. Staff was very nice and helpful. The helped us organize transport and excursions before we arrived and as well as while we were there. The little grocery store was close and town was 30 minute golf cart ride. We ate most of our meals (very basic) at the house but did drive once to town for dinner.
