I booked this hoochee haus for a nice quiet getaway and to celebrate my birthday. It did not disappoint. The place ws so clean. It had all the things i needed. And the view on the river was so beautiful i could not have had a better place. It was close enough to walk to the little town. Or park in town and wander around all day and then drive back. The weather was great. The people were friendly. I met a new friend on my last day there. I will return to this hoochee haus.

We stayed for anniversary very nice stay. The highlight was being able to stay on the deck and watch the tubes go down the river. The couch and chair in the living area is in need of an upgrade.

Enjoyed our stay

Mostly it’s beautiful and location friendly BUT company emailed us a wrong code to enter, fortunately a cleaning staff who was leaving saw our frustration and ended up giving us her entrance code to use, saying that wasn’t the first time happening. The sleeper sofa was comfortable to sit on but very uncomfortable to sleep on and if you move it squeaks loudly, both kids unfortunately slept on it so it squeaked constantly and one child even slept on pillows from couch on the floor because it was so uncomfortable. Main bedroom the sliding doors when you walk in have thin gray curtains BUT a very bright security light is right out that door so the bedroom is lite completely up all night. Also the bed squeaks and only a thin bedspread was on it with no blankets to be found. We would not recommend staying here until those things are corrected.

enjoyed our stay. room was clean and very cozy. we had rain all weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the deck over looking the water. only bad prob was the wifi didn't work. we're looking forward to staying again here.

It is gorgeous and comfortable. I loved being on the River and next door to a park. Being able to walk to shop was a big plus. I never heard anything and wonder if it is soundproof! I felt instantly comfortable and serene. I am very much looking forward to my next visit this summer.

This house is in a wonderful location! The balcony is right over the river. Everything is walking distance. Makes it easy with kids!

Great location and thoroughly enjoy staying here. I just wish vacasa honored returning customers with some sort of discount. As a customer that comes every year (seniors) and leaves the condo in great condition , it would be nice to be considered some sort of discount for returning, loyal customers.

The village of Helen was beautiful and friendly. We really enjoyed it. What we didn’t enjoy was all the problems we had with the condo. We had a very hard time getting into it. The code didn’t work so we had call for help. The Wi-Fi would not connect to our phones and tablets. The door to the deck was locked so we couldn’t sit outside over looking the river. We were very disappointed because of all the troubles.

This place was wonderful. Well furnished and had everything we needed. Front door does need some attention as it would not close properly causing a draft.

Check-in online was a breeze. We had a problem with the internet which took a while to get fixed, but afterward it worked fine. We were there in January to see the Christmas lights in Helen so it was too cold to enjoy the deck overlooking the river, but in warmer weather it would be great. The bed was very comfortable. Our only suggestions would be the door needs new weather stripping around it because it does not seal and will not stay closed unless it is locked. Cold air comes in during the winter and we are sure hot air comes in during the summer. The only thing missing was facial tissue which we think should be supplied with the unit. Overall we would definitely book here again

Had a nice stay. No issues.

We had a nice stay at this condo. The location was great; close to restaurants and downtown. My only complaint is that the tub drain was stopped up so we had to get some Drano to unclog it. And the damper was left open in the fire place so a lot of cold air came into the living area. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Great view of the chatahuchee river! Even saw deer! Excellent proximity to downtown Helen.

Great location walking distance to everything all was great could have been a little cleaner, front door was not very secure and day of checkout the management company turned up at 9.15 to switch out a cable box was very rude and disrespectful , surly they could have given us prior warning or even waited until after 10 when we were checking out

We loved sitting on the patio/balcony overlooking the river. The furniture on the patio was perfect for this. Also, this is a great location with an easy walk to the center of town and many good restaurants.

This place is heaven. When we arrived, the condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The private deck overlooks the Chattahoochee River and we loved sitting out there and listening to the sounds of the water. There were several excellent restaurants very close to the unit (we would recommend Bigg Daddys) and downtown Helen was only a five minute walk away. We would recommend this and definitely plans to stay again soon. The Hosts have excellent communication and provided all of the information for check in and check out in a very timely matter.

Very clean and comfortable! The porch was our favorite view and water sounds are so peaceful. Short walk to town. We will be back - hopefully next year!

We just stayed the night and unfortunately had to leave early the next morning. Deck view was beautiful. Fall colors in full glory this weekend! Place was clean. King size bed was comfortable. Wish we had more time to explore the idealism town. Already started Christmas decorations!
