We booked this for my daughter’s graduation trip and it did not disappoint. She was at the beach as much as she could and everyone loved the location. The place was great and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch. Seeing the lizards around and all the flowers…it was great!! We hope to come back!! Mahalo!!!

Good. But not what i was expecting

This property is a false advertisement and the owner is aggressive. The owner lives with only a wall dividing you and he watches out his windows. High tide makes the beach behind the home disappear. We were visiting Hawaii to celebrate my disabled father's retirement from a disability advocacy company which our family still owns. We were kicked out before we entered the home because my dad's service dog. This is a NEADS certified Veteran dog who was in a facility the first two years of his life training to serve disabled vets. If you were to see this dog and it's demeanor and his red service dog vest you would immediately know this isn't a fake service animal. We offered our papers as proof and let him know that it's federally illegal to discriminate against the disabled in this manner. He threatened to sick his dog on us. Then ultimately tried to tell us it was bc someone would get ill if a service animal was in there? Which is not an acceptable excuse according to the ADA and was contradicted by him threatening to sick his own dog on us. We contacted VRBO and they let us know it was indeed illegal what he was doing. We are a family of successful disability advocates that had 2 babies and 4 children with us and he kicked us out with no where to go.

This property has beach house character and is only about 30 yards from the shore. The beach itself has both open waters and some protected coves which were nice for the kids. The community is quite and the North Shore of the island is much more remote than Honolulu. I would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Everything was exactly as described and the hosts are wonderful!

We came here on a Spring Break trip with our kids and my wife’s parents. We all had a wonderful time. The house is a hop skip and a jump to the beach. The hosts were so helpful before and throughout the stay!

This home was so nice for my family of 8 to stay for Christmas. There was plenty of room for all of us and the accommodations were comfortable. The covered front porch had plenty of seating and a table an chairs, and a clothesline for hanging our wet stuff. The beach, just steps from the house was beautiful and had perfect sand. We loved swimming there. The only downsides were the coin-op laundry and one shower (the shower is very nice and updated- and there is an outside shower to rinse off after the beach, but we had to plan out our shower time). I would stay here again!

We loved the property and would stay there again. Having only one shower for 10 people was pretty tight but we made it work!. AND the internet was a big problem for us. We had to go to Laie for that. But again we made it work. It was quite and relaxing.
