Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Well located, lots of restaurants nearby, especially next door for breakfast. Villa very well appointed, particularly if you wish to self cater. Great laundry facilities which were very much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

This was our first time to Tamarindo and the location of this villa can’t be beat for those who want to enjoy Tamarindo day/ night then retreat back to the peace and quiet. Just a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you are going. Willie arranged transportation for us from the airport and we did not rent a golf cart but we were the only ones so you may want to consider that. Favorite spots we discovered are Tabu for breakfast and happy hour, Tropic Tamarindo for a quiet but incredible Costa Rican dinner(presentation was insane as was the food but fairly priced). El Sapo pizza is great. Pool is nice and cleaned daily. The smallest room bed is softer but we found the other two beds to be extra, extra firm. Over all this condo was very much as advertised. Only suggestions to owners is to add some oven mitts, and some plastic or pool safe beverage containers so you can take beverages by the pool. Willie was great and can schedule whatever you need. Grocery stores are close especially with car or golf cart so I wouldn’t recommend the concierge grocery service just for cost and making sure you get what you want. Thank you to Willy and the owners for a fantastic family vacation. Again, phenomenal location and good value.

The owners were easy to reach and helped out with all the questions we had. The apartment and grounds were gorgeous cool and quiet. Town was maybe a 5 min walk with lots of bustle, shopping and restaurants to explore. The beach was right across the street and the chairs and umbrella that our hosts provided were so great to have. Willy (our local host) was super helpful for reliable, comfortable transportion and suggestions and contacts for all excursions. We would absolutely stay here next time we visit the beautiful country of Costa Rica!

Loved our stay here. This place is steps from a safe mellow surf break and short walk to downtown and lots of dining options and shops. Very short drive to other surf breaks nearby. The place itself was very comfortable which was great after long days outside. All the AC units are newer and quiet, we all slept great.

This Villa was fantastic! Just as described. It was clean inside and out. Easy walk to the beach and downtown. The pool was a perfect place to relax and meet other visitors. Would definitely stay again.

We cannot say enough positive things about this place! Here are the highlights: 1) the entire gated community is beautiful with lush plants and trees; a serene pool to cool off in 2) there are only 6 units in the complex so it’s private and quiet - away from the nightlife but close enough that you can walk to restaurants, bars and shops; it’s also across from the entrance to the beach which was amazing for our family who visited the beach almost daily. 3) the unit was clean and the perfect size for 1 child, 2 teens and 2 adults. 4) The kitchen had everything we needed; there was plenty of space to hang out in (including a nice size deck) and the beds were soft and cozy. 5) The mini split a/c units kept the condo nice and cool! It was hot in CR! 6) last but not least Willy - our concierge - was amazing! He was super helpful from the moment we booked. He answered my questions and made great recommendations. He also went to the grocery for us so we didn’t have to rush there when we arrived. All in all, this spot is a hidden gem in Tamarindo!

We had a great visit. The owners were super nice and even allowed us an extra day after our flight was cancelled and we couldn't arrive until 2 days later. The property manager Willie and his assistant Justin were amazing as well. The property is in a great location and the grounds are beautiful and kept up. The beach is a 2 minute walk and you can walk in to town easily. Our excursions (ATV tour and Catamaran trip) locations were within walking distance as well. I would definitely stay again.

Great except dishwasher not properly installed so tipped when trays were pulled out. Main bathroom had a serious water leak.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The location was excellent with an easy walk to the beach and to town for activities.

Our group consisting of two parents, two children (7 and 4), and their grandmother stayed for two weeks in April 2023. This villa is in a walled compound with 4 other rental homes. First, the property is stunning with meticulously curated gardens, eating areas and a spacious pool with a deep end for diving and a shallower end for families. At the deeper end of the pool sit a lovely covered seating area and bathroom. The property’s private location is ideal, moments from the beach and a short stroll from great amenities: restaurants, coffee shops, beach clubs, food trucks, and groceries. We did not have a car rental for the majority of our stay and were able to walk to all the nearby amenities. The owners and their property managers were friendly, communicative and went well out of their way to ensure that our stay was exceptional. The property managers offered to obtain groceries for us in advance, for a small fee, which was very thoughtful. We had questions for the property managers occasionally during our stay and they were very responsive and helpful. Inside the home, there are two adjoining bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom, which was nice for our small children. A separate bedroom is located off of the kitchen with a full bathroom adjacent. The home is nicely renovated and the open kitchen, breakfast nook, dining area and living room are spacious and well laid out. The kitchen itself is spacious and great for cooking with modern appliances and a full range of utensils. A large wrap around deck, accessible both via the front door and a side door off the living room, has great views and a clean and new propane BBQ. Each room has independently-controlled air conditioning and fans which made for a very comfortable stay. The in-suite laundry came in handy many times to launder towels and personal clothing items. Given the compound includes 4 other rental homes, our family met a range of families and enjoyed time in the common spaces around the pool with them, which was an unexpected bonus. Playa Tamarindo is a unique soft sand beach with very little elevation change. This makes for dramatic tidal changes and waves ideal for beginner surfers or moderately adventurous boogie boarders. A lockable closet on the wrap-around patio contains a variety of useful beach items. A dedicated parking space with easy automatic gate access is near to the home. We would not hesitate to stay in this accommodation again.

Could have used some extra blankets…only 3 were supplied including the coverlets on the beds. The knives were so dull, as to be useless for cutting fruits and vegs.

Great location outside main tourist area of downtown. Within walking distance to everything. Beach access across the street.

We loved the location of this villa. It's an easy walk into town, but feels like you're secluded from town if you want. The pool was great to have to cool off or when we didn't want to go to the beach. Very close to the Beach Club and gym. There's a supermarket and liquor store about 5 minutes (walking) away. We loved our time here, Justin (our property manager) was very responsive. We had a small leak in one of the bathrooms and Justin had a plumber out in about an hour and the repair was completed (with no disruption to us) in a few hours. There's a nice parking spot if you get a golf cart or other vehicle. We highly recommend this property.

This condo property and common pool area made for a super relaxing vacation. The condo is situated just at the edge of town so very peaceful and only a 10 minute walk to town to access grocery stores and great restaurants. Willy the property manager went out of his way to help us and was very kind. The grounds are immaculately kept and designed by Justin. Condo is 5 minutes away from the main Tamarindo beach with very calm waters near by. A short 10 minute walk in the opposite direction to Lagostana Beach gives you access to a great surfing beach with 4 foot waves. A 30 minute taxi ride gives you access to two other more advanced surfing spots - Playa Avelanna and Playa Grande. Excursion up near by estuary was well worth it. Would highly recommend Casablanca # 5!

We had a great vacation at Casa Blanca 5! It was the perfect amount of space for a family to spread out after a long day on the beach and is so conveniently located. Beach is literally 2 min walk, 8 min walk into town for groceries and endless restaurants. The property is fully loaded with all the essentials and then some, they even had came pans for us to make a birthday cake for my daughter. The management company was quick to respond to any questions and handled everything from the moment we landed at the airport to the moment we left to come home. Thank you for the amazing stay!

Loved a bit quieter location but still right across street from beach and easy walk to several great restaurants.

This was my first time to Costa Rica and I have to say we definitely chose the right place to stay. Our condo was clean a spacious. Had so much fun!

Property needs a lot of work. Doors wouldn’t stay closed, both dishwasher and stove are loose and need to be attached to wall. Over all property is old and run down.

Perfect location for Tamarindo. Easy to walk to the beach in 5 minutes and a quick 3-5 minute drive to get any where in Tamarindo. Pool was nice at night. The property also has beach chairs and towels for the beach, they came invery handy.

Property owners and managers are super easy to communicate with. The property is perfect with everything you would need, including a full kitchen, laundry, ice maker, beach chairs, and a nice pool. Beach access is right across the street. It is walking distance to downtown area, but far enough away to still be quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

I am not a regular reviewer so keeping it short. The grounds and pool area were great! Our unit was perfect for us. The A/C units worked well which was the only time these Colorado mountain town travelers appreciated A/C so much because we visited in March. Normally we are not fans of A/C. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the howler monkeys and birds.

Can't say enough about how positive our stay at this villa was!! Living in this luxurious home in a private, beautifully landscaped, quiet compound was the best possible base for our Tamarindo adventure. Two minute walk to the beach/ocean, 10 minute walk into the midst of town/shopping and just as close to great places to eat and sunset cocktails! We totally loved the villa: comfortable beds, furniture, A/C worked great, kitchen had it all even a dishwasher and the private deck/balcony was paradise. Hooked up with the management company immediately via "What's APP" and had instant replies to any of our questions and great help booking cabs, locating ATMs, renting surfboards/kayaks, etc. We are all experienced travellers who have rented accommodation around the world and this one was a home run! Pura Vida !

We loved our stay at Casa Blanca. Very roomy for our family of 5. We loved the property , swimming pool, and surrounding gardens. Beach was a short walk away and enjoyed the sunsets each evening. Also saw Green Parrots, iguanas, and Howler Monkeys. We highly recommend staying at Casa and Tamerindo is a fun place with great restaurants, beaches, surfing, and fishing.

Very convenient location for walking to town and shops, beach access directly across the street and a private pool area.
