Visiting Cotwold’s for 6 days, split between lodgings. This stone cottage provided the perfect setting and was very accommodating for 5 people, perhaps best stocked kitchens of all rentals, ever. Dual-facing wood stove provided nice touch for dinner and sitting room. Recommend Cotswold Baking Shop if interested in afternoon baking lessons. Thanks to the hosts for providing an extremely welcoming place to relax!

What a picturesque property. Spacious and comfortable, beautifully appointed both inside and out. I can honestly say that the photos do not do it justice. The beds, pillows and the other furniture were all very comfortable. Better than may hotels. The outside space was a welcome respite for drinks and a snack after a day of touring the Cotswolds. The host Lauren was wonderful. Prior to our arrival, she provided a comprehensive list of places to visits as well as places to eat. The welcome basket was over the top and the kitchen was generously stocked as well. We would visit this property again, without question.

Lanterns is a truly beautiful home right in the heart of Blockley (which is a tiny little town but features a shop and cafe and pub and a great playground and central location). The rooms are spacious and wonderfully furnished, the kitchen is well equipped - really a five star place. The host provided excellent restaurant recommendations and was a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommended!

We had a fabulous long weekend stay at "The Lanterns" - from the overflowing welcome basket/provisions to immaculate and spacious accommodations (including a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds!) it was just ideal. The location is a perfect location for touring several Cotswolds towns. Lauren kindly provided an early arrival, and her good suggestions on pubs/shopping, etc made everything work seamlessly. The proximity of a good pub out the front door proved very handy, and Blockley has a great little general store. The walking trails out the back of the cottage were an extra bonus. We were super-impressed all around and will be back!

Great communication from owner, a lovely cottage in a great location. Beautiful ‘Cotswold’ places to visit, all close by. Do as little or as much as you want. A group of 6 mature ladies had our annual get together and we loved every minute of our stay. Go to the Brockley Cafe, great good and staff, you can BYO for £10 corkage. We had an enjoyable stay at the cottage. Although the weather became quite hot the interior stayed nice and cool so we had no trouble sleeping on the comfortable beds. The house is in a great location, opposite the local pub and not far from the A44 for getting around.

Great area with amazing host! We had everything we needed and the location was super convenient to other towns. The only negative of our entire stay was the washer/dryer situation and not being able to easily do laundry with children on the trip.

A beautiful cottage, which is very well equipped. The cottage was very comfortable and clean and the location was perfect for us in the pretty village of Blockley. Beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are excellent. The garden has a number of seating areas which are useful. We made use of the Great Western Arms (50 yards away) and the village cafe and both were excellent. Owner is very helpful and provided really good information and recommendations and also provided a lovely hamper that was ready for us on arrival. We would certainly like to use this cottage again and would recommend it to others.

The cottage is centrally located in Blockley, which is ideal for the local pub and getting to local towns such as Chipping Campden, Broadway and Moreton in the Marsh. Well positioned for long country walks with lots of great pubs for lunches and a quick pint en route! Lauren was exceptional in the run up to our stay, giving us clear instructions and lots of great ideas for local activities. The cottage is beautifully furnished with every detail covered, and well equipped for all our family needs. Great garden for relaxing, BBQ's and for the kids to let off a bit of steam. We would highly recommend a visit.

We have stayed in several vacation rentals across the US and Europe and this was our favorite one yet. The layout was fantastic for a group of 4 adults and two children. All the finishing were high end. We enjoyed the outdoor space on sunny days and the garden was delightful. The location is perfect. Located in a small Cotswold town, there is a pub across the Street and cafe/general store a short (beautiful)_walk away. There was also a park and playground 100 meters away. The house also had a coloring table and toys for the children to play with. Inside, the kitchen had all of the necessary utensils and the espresso machine was a nice touch. There was plenty of seating in the living space with comfortable chairs. It was a pleasure to stay in this home and it added to a wonderful experience in the Cotswolds.
