Our vacation was amazing! Rita is wonderful let us know if we arrived early an earlier check in was available since we were traveling with our pets. The fresh flowers added such a welcoming touch. She came by to make sure if we needed anything just let her know. Will definitely be back. Thanks again for everything. Linda

From the listing, this place was undersold. This place was fantastic. The kitchen was stocked beyond my expectations. The oven heated up quickly, the stove top worked great, and the refrigerator was a full size. There are three bathrooms, and all worked well and convenient for our group of 7. The laundry was easily usable and a huge perk. One bedroom has a double bed, walk-in closet, dresser, and TV. The other bedroom has double bed and dresser. The large bedroom has two double beds, small daybed, two huge dressers, large walkin closet, tv, and a desk. This room had one of the three bathrooms, attached. The deck off the back has the grill, which was easy to use, and a nice place to gather later in the evening. The sunroom off the kitchen is a wonderful place to sit and relax. There are multiple tvs, but we did not use them as we were too busy enjoying the area. It is an easy walk to the beach, which is clean and mellow. The pier and main isle area are a quick and easy drive away. As well as Sullivan Island to the south. We would highly recommend this place.

This is our second time staying at this property as it’s only one street from the beach and has easy beach entry access. The house fit 6 people comfortably and had all the amenities we needed. It’s also only a 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston! Would stay here again!

The property was very clean! The location is perfect, my family has three grandchildren a one year old, a three year old and a five year old. The walk is a block away and we didn’t have to carry anyone except the one year old. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The beds are comfortable. The owner Rita is amazing.

This house was perfect for our week at isle of palms. My son is a full time wheelchair user and was able to navigate the entire house with no problem - they even had a ramp for him to get into the house. The accessible bathroom was SO nice for him (and our backs!) as well.
The house was clean and well taken care of and a short walk to the beach.
Only suggestion would be to have some type of carport/cover to house beach wagons/chairs, etc so that they don’t get rained on or covered with tree debris.
Overall, highly recommend!

Great use of space. Our favorite room was the Sun room. We had 6 adults, 1 toddler and 2 dogs and we never felt crowded. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other families!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Our group was 7 adult family members, and we had plenty of room. The house is very clean and pretty, the beds are super comfortable, and the location is close to the beach and just a short drive to the grocery store, seafood market, and great restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. We really appreciated being able to have my niece's dog with us, and the yard was spacious and safe. Rita was fantastic to work with...great communication and very responsive. It was a great week for our whole family!

It would have been helpful if we knew we had to supply garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and washing machine soap. We could have brought extras with us instead of having to go out n buy some.

The home is well-equipped with everything needed to unpack and enjoy!

If you are looking for a wonderful beach vacation, this is the home to stay in! It has a great beach vibe. The home was clean, beautifully decorated and spacious. Great backyard with a deck and grill. Perfect for all ages and just a block from the beach.

First visit to Isle of Palms for a family reunion.
The front view of the house does not do justice to the space inside. It comfortably fit our family of two not-quite-senior couples with two of our young adult children. We liked the layout and especially the quiet back room separated nicely by the kitchen from the busier area of the home. The beds were comfortable, the master bedroom very spacious with a desk that served well to connect with work (the office) as needed (ugh), and the kitchen well stocked with bowls, silverware, cooking utensils, pots. Very much appreciated since we did a lot of cooking. Overall, the house is very well maintained and comfortably furnished. It felt like home for a week. Rita was efficient and friendly with the booking process and we really enjoyed our first visit to the beautiful Isle of Palms and Charleston area.

This house is perfect for a beach get away with the family. The location is excellent and the house has everything you could need. Rita was SO helpful and personable and responded to our inquiries within minutes. Highly recommend!

IOP trip #2
This was our second trip to Isle of Palms. This property was an excellent fit our purpose. It is 25 minutes (on average) from downtown Charleston. One item on the listing that may be confusing is the 4th bedroom is more of a second living room with a fold out couch. Overall an excellent stay!

We’ve been to IOP 7 times and by far this is the best house: Great location, 5 minute walk to beach, fenced in backyard for our furry friend, grandson and in laws loves everything. And Rita was amazing

Family vacation
Warm and welcoming home in a great location. My family of six enjoyed our stay in this home. The sunroom is wonderful to relax and spend time together but also great for early risers to go into and not disturb the late sleepers. Kitchen was well stocked, making meal preparation easy. Thoughtful hosts have provided many items not normally found in rentals. Easy access to beach, grocery stores and restaurants.
We would definitely stay again when returning to Isle of Palms

Wonderful House
We were extremely happy with this rental. The hosts have obviously put a lot of thought and effort into making the house welcoming and comfortable. We arrived with all sorts of things usually needed in a rental (bathmats, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, kitchen sponge, trash bags, etc.) which were all provided, plus there were all kinds of spices, condiments, etc. provided or left behind by others. In short, we brought boxes of things we did not end up needing because the hosts have been so generous and thoughtful.
While, as the photos show, the house itself is older and not humongous like so many newer beach homes, it is decorated well and could not have been more comfortable. Having the sunroom was a huge asset as it is quite soundproof, so older kids (and adults) could play while the infant and toddler in our group napped, undisturbed.
The hosts are quick to respond to communications and the house is even better than it appears in the pictures. So, if the configuration works for our family again, I would be eager to return.

Overall we were pleased with our choice for location. We were a little disappointed that the bathrooms did not near enough storage and counter space. The house was very safe for the toddlers . Great location close to many great restaurants.

Excellent location and value on south IOP
Can’t beat the location. Only complaint would be the beds in master were fairly creaky and window blinds in the house a bit wonky, but it was a great house for the location and perfectly functional and comfortable, we would stay here again… !

Great place for people in wheelchairs!
I’m handicapped and stayed here with my family. The house is fairly spacious with wide doors. The bed was very soft which helps with skin breakdown. The bathroom with the roll in shower was very spacious and made showering very easy. Very enjoyable. Everyone was so nice. It’s one block from the beach access and the neighborhood has some beautiful houses to walk around and enjoy. 5/5 stars!

Very neat - great location!
My husband and I (and our dog) had more than enough space in the home. We loved the enclosed back yard, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe.
We were happy that it was such a short walk to the beach, and a nice bike ride to restaurants nearby. Would hightly recommend this property/area, and hope to one day visit again!

Great fun at IOP
We really enjoyed our stay at IOP. We went into Mt Pleasant, Charleston & enjoyed the beach (the house is only one block from the beach walk entry so very easy to walk to). Great restaurants, fishing & nice waves. We had 8 adults & 3 children and easily had space for us all.

We had a wonderful stay. House is 2 blocks from the beach. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Owners were very responsive to our calls and texts.
