Amazing vacation. Location of property is beautiful and felt very safe. Not having to clean or cook for an entire week was dream like. Lorena is the best. Our host accommodated all of our requests. The property could use a little maintenance.

The house was as pictured, but definitely more dated than the pictures. The pool was amazing. The day we arrived we did not have any water until the the next morning. No showers, flushing toilets, etc. Jonathan, the caretaker, worked with us and tried his best to get the situation taken care of. This did happen again midway through the trip when the power went out for the day. Jonathan was always there working hard to help with anything that went wrong with the house. I would highly recommend hiring Lorena to cook your meals........she was wonderful!

It was a trip full of memories! The catamaran trip was the highlight and everyone’s favorite. Daniel and Jonathan were great hosts. Lorena prepares great meals! The only negative was the daily price of the golf carts .

We had a family group to celebrate a birthday. The beach is beautiful, you can view the surf from the patio, and a beautiful swimming beach is about a 10 minute walk away. Surfing just a little bit further south. The king size bed in the room with the bunkbeds is hard and one of the Casita bedrooms, the one without the kitchen, is a bit musty. We had some issues with water pressure, but they were taken care of. The cook does a wonderful job, and there is a restaurant just at the top of the street that is reasonably priced and delicious.

Beautiful property right on the beach. Direct access to langosta river mouth for surfing, a short golf cart ride away from Tamarindo. Beautiful pool deck and the staff (Roy and cleaning staff) were amazing. Quick to help out with any request. Would definitely book this property again if I come back!

I have only great things to say about our stay at this property. The bedrooms, outdoor area and location of the property were even better than advertised. Langosta beach was awesome and the house is almost perfectly located. The concierge (Jonathan) was incredibly helpful during the lead up to our arrival and the chef prepared some great meals! Would highly recommend staying here

We had 13 adults for the week for a mission trip+vacation and the property was amazing. Jonathan, the house manager was incredible and helped us with everything we needed to include golf carts and other beach needs. Lorena was also more than amazing. We planned to have her cook for us for 2 noghts but the food was so fantastic we booked two more nights. She cleaned each day and was the kindest and most helpful person in town. We will definitely return to Casa Paquita!!!

The property was everything, plus more, than we expected. So much room and everyone was very attentive to our needs. Golf cart available, and when it didn't work, they stepped in and drove us to and from the wedding location. Lorena cooked breakfast each morning and dinner one night which we could not have gotten better food or service anywhere in the country. We were a group of 14 staying to attend a wedding just down the road. We would definitely return to this specific location.

Casa Paquita was perfect for our family of 10 (six adults and four kids, five years and younger.) Our vacation was seamless. The location was quiet and we felt safe. Daniel and Jonathan went beyond the call of duty to respond to our needs and requests from beginning to end.We also had a full fridge of groceries snacks and imperial beer waiting for us when we arrived. One of our grandkids celebrated his third birthday, and there were balloons when we arrived. The infinity pool was a big hit with the kids, and especially with the inflatable toys that were supplied. Lorena and the housekeeping staff supplied us daily with clean towels for showers and for the pool & beach . Lorena also prepared and made most of our breakfast and delicious dinners. The beach was ours for play ,walks and amazing sunsets .Kudos to the entire team. We highly recommend Casa Paquita .

We spent an incredible week at Casa Paquita with family over Thanksgiving week! Daniel our host was a great asset and was always available to help us with transportation and tours. Lorena who ran the house prepared many meals, both breakfast and dinner, and she was one fabulous cook! She taught us all how to make her guacamole which she prepared every night for us. The house could not be a more perfect location and the golf carts were perfect to run around town in. Gorgeous sunsets too!

House manager (Jonathan( was excellent. Had breakfast provided every morning (for small additional fee). Chefs were excellent. Jonathan also helped us with golf carts, airport pickup and had our fridge stocked. Great service and location. 7 bedrooms.

It was a wonderful venue and exceeded our expectations in every way.

We would give it 10 stars if possible!! Our vacation was for a family reunion, we had 14 people - 7 adults and 7 "kids" ages 15 thru 21. The home was perfect, enough space for everyone at all times, we never felt crowded and even the dining table was large enough for all 14 at every meal. Every bedroom was nice size and very comfortable!! The bedroom with the bunk beds also now has a king size bed which was perfect. Lorena and Jonathon were wonderful throughout the entire week. We had Lorena cook most dinners and handful of breakfasts, highly recommend!! Her meals were absolutely delicious and having such a large group it was much more relaxing than going out. She also helped with laundry (especially the towels!!) and kepts the house so clean....She was truly a delight! Jonathon was also so kind and attentive to any issue or question we had throughout the week. The location is beautiful - view of the ocean, beachfront, and lush greens. It is about a mile into town which wasn't too bad of a walk. They have golf carts to rent which would be easier - but we had so many people and we didn't mind the walk (humidity was high when we visited so we got used to sweating). There is a very good restaurant right at the end of the street which is convenient and we had dinner and breakfast there, both very good. We starting planning our next trip back to Costa Rica already and cannot imagine staying anywhere else!!!

Our family of 11 stayed at Casa Paquita for 9 wonderful days. The house is beautiful and well maintained, and the woman doing some of our cooking was outstanding. The entire family was either in the pool or on the beach all day, every day when not part-taking in some off-sight adventure or shopping in Tamarindo. Being located just outside of the main town area, it is very convenient, and the golf carts are all that is needed to get around. Casa Paquita comes very highly recommended.

Agree with others - eat every breakfast and dinner in. Lorena is an amazing cook! Very safe area. Jonathan was also very helpful. Beautiful infinity pool. Nothing bad to say. Would definitely stay there again!

The house is perfect for a family stay. The grandparents stayed in the first floor bedroom while the kids and grandkids had the 2nd floor. The view to the west and the beach was wonderful. The pool provides a relaxing place to cool off and play. The woman who prepared some of our evening meals did a fabulous job. Tasty, well prepared food, plenty for all. Location related to Tamarindo is perfect. All that is needed is golf carts to get anywhere within the town. Overall, a quiet, secure location to relax and only do what you want to.

This is a fantastic property! I cannot say enough good things about our experience, it was wonderful. We were a family with 7 adults and 2 children (11 years and 7 years). Lorena is amazing (housekeeper and cook). She cooked several meals for us and is very sweet. The food was delicious and we always had left overs. She speaks only Spanish but uses Google translate if there is a language barrier. We had a Spa Day at Los Altos De Eros while the guys went fishing with Maryola. I recommend both those things. Our transportation and tours were booked through TPV Costa Rica. They are easy to communicate with and have a lot of tour options. We also did a catamaran tour through Manta Ray Sailing. This is a MUST DO! By far our favorite part. They have transportation options for pick up at extra costs but we used TPV for transportation. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart, there are a few walkable restaurants and shops but going “into town” is much easier with these. Bring bug spray! We went in wet season and there are definitely mosquitos and other insects. The water pressure in the house is slow, I believe this is pretty typical of Costa Rica but it took some adjusting to coming from the states. The last night we saw about 10-15 monkeys in the trees above the pool, it was the best way to end the trip!

The house was perfect! The living area was very spacious with lots of areas for dining. We had a wonderful dinner cooked by our chef!! We loved the location of the house with a short walk to the beach, and loved the infinity pool. I would recommend this house to my friends!!

Daniel went above and beyond helping us with this rental and answering so many questions during the planning of this trip. He was super helpful and responsive. The Casa Paquita was perfect for our family of 12. Golf cart rentals were perfect for getting where we wanted to go. Lorena kept the place clean and always made sure we had clean towels for baths, pool and beach. She prepared and served two brunches and a dinner for us. All were. Delicious!!!! As a long time VRBO user, I rely heavily on reviews. I hope I can do this one justice. We had an AMAZING trip. This is the most relaxing vacation I have been on in years. From pick up at the airport, to restaurant reservations, to a few select activities, Daniel helped us arrange everything that we needed or wanted to do. There was zero hassle and ZERO stress. The house was huge and with only seven adults we had more than enough space. The staff kept the house fresh every day. The AC units are very quiet and effective. The Sonos system was great for music throughout the house and on the patio. The pool and beach access are very bit as good as the photos…well better actually, because it’s real! A large family of monkeys decided to come to the beach on Sunday and hung out in the trees above the pool all day. We treated ourselves to breakfast and dinner from Loreana. DO NOT PASS THIS OPPORTUNITY UP! She is so kind and she’s a great cook! The house is a walkable 1 mile from town. Just follow the beach! 🙂 It was also super easy to get around town and to the local markets with the golf carts. Thank you for this wonderful vacation!

We had a terrific time at Casa Paquita. Daniel (concierge) and Lorena( cook and housekeeper) were super. The view was amazing, the location was perfect and the accommodations were great. We will definitely return again!

Pictures don't do this place justice! Our family of 7 adults and 3 children spent a week here, which was our first time visiting Costa Rica. (Feb 2023) The house was beautiful and in the perfect location for peace and quiet, but a short walk/golf cart ride to the town centre. The house is well appointed with all the amenities you need for a beach vacation, and close to stores for food and drinks. Daniel was attentive and arranged all of what we needed (Golf Carts, airport transfers and beer in the fridge) while Jon kept the grounds and pool clean and well kept. Lorena and Izabella made or stay a gastro feast every morning for breakfast and several dinners during our stay. The meals were some of the best food we had while in Costa Rica and well worth the money to have it all prepared, served and cleaned up. Hands down having a personal chef and concierge while enjoying your private residence had us living like the rich and famous for a week! The sunsets are amazing and we spent most evenings sitting on the luxury pool loungers or around the large patio table enjoying a drink and some music (Sonos Speaker system worked great). The pool had a great shallow area for the children to play in, and pools toys to keep them busy. Monkeys hanging out in the trees for entertainment, a neighbourhood cat to make it feel like home. The town of Tamarindo and surrounding area was amazing to explore. My wife and I are SCUBA divers and would highly recommend Franco @TamaDive. He took us out to the Catalinas Islands for the day to explore some volcanic island reefs. We would definitely stay again and recommend this property and amazing staff to anyone considering a trip to paradise.

Cant say enough of how much we enjoyed our trip to Casa Paquita this past week. Daniel, was unbelievable from the minute we landed, to assisting us with any of our requests throughout the stay, even with last minute changes. Lucinta, kept the house spotless, and would highly recommend you take her up on some home cooked meals. Was our best dinner of the trip. Easy. Wont lie, we spent a ton of time in the pool, which you can see from the pictures is pretty easy to do. The location was a short 5min ride into town, which was great. Close enough to restaurants, and shops, but far enough away that it was super quiet at the house. I could go on and on, but overall this was an ideal place and location for our group. Thank you Daniel and Lucinta. You are the Best. Pura Vida.

If I could have given it 10 stars I would. As someone who relies heavily on reviews, I knew I wanted to leave a thoughtful review. But I’m at a bit of a loss for words. Daniel helped put together my entire trip. From cooking staff, golf cart rentals, dinner reservations, transportation to and from the airport- to setting up decorations for the surprise party for my husband. We were 14 adults, all of whom travel an incredible amount and every single couple was blown away. The rooms all have ensuite bathrooms, most have king or queen bathrooms. Air conditioning is great. the lay out was incredible and the sunsets at the pool were spectacular I HIGHLY recommend this house and Daniel- also the chefs cooking was FABULOUS. I’m sincerely at a loss for a single complaint. Just wow.

The house was great (as usual-we stayed here last year). Daniel and Lorraina did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable and they didn't disappoint. The location is great-on the beach and convenient to town. We are looking at staying there again next year. We had 13 adults this year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Sitting on the back patio watching the ocean was as close to paradise as we have experienced. The location was excellent. We weren't big fans of Tamarindo as it's just another busy beach town, but this property is far enough away that you don't feel like you are in Tamarindo yet close enough to walk (less than 20 mins). The price was a bit high, but worth it as a family getaway. The property includes staff for cleaning and landscape and pool service. It's kept very well. Lorena prepared us a wonderful dinner one evening, which was perfect after a full day of zip line and rafting adventures. The meal was an additional cost, but not any more than going to a restaurant for the seven of us. The house manager, Daniel, was very attentive and easily reached. He even came on Sunday to say goodbye. Overall a great vacation and a great property.

We celebrated Christmas in Costa Rica this year, and truly had the best time! We were a group of 14, 9 adults and 5 children. This property is amazing and just as depicted in the photos. They have upgraded the extra bed in the room with the bunk beds to a king, which was a nice surprise. We all loved the pool area, and the quick access to the beach. The sunsets are spectacular every night. We did see monkeys and iguanas on the property and many small crabs on the beach. I will echo other reviews in regards to Daniel, Lorena and staff. They are so helpful and kind. We had to move our flights due to a snowstorm at home and Daniel was still super accommodating even though some of us arrived early. He made excellent recommendations for excursions and provided transportation for that as well. Lorena is an excellent cook. You MUST have her cook for you. We did not have a bad meal in Costa Rica, but we agreed her meals were our favorite. The guys were successful deep sea fishing, and she prepared the mahi and tuna several different ways for us. Her guac, salsa, and ceviche were some of the best we've ever had. I would highly recommend this property and staff! Pura Vida!
