I took a short trip with my sister and niece to Woodstock. Jane was so helpful and communicative before and during this trip. The cottage was absolutely adorable. It was clean and cozy. The creek in the back of the house just added to the pleasantry of the area. Woodstock is a short walk and even shorter drive filled with eclectic restaurants and shops. 11/10 would definitely recommend!

The rental was perfect and we enjoyed sitting by the river every morning.

Spent two nights and wanted a place where we could easily bike into town and got exactly that! The sound of the creek outside was so relaxing, accommodations were clean and comfy. Definitely would return!

Exceeded our expectations! Cottage was absolutely lovely and well appointed. Sitting by the creek’s edge and listening to the sound of the water as it flowed over the rocks was incredibly relaxing. Nature’s tranquilizer!

The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river and then day tripping to grand adventures to hike near the Hudson River Valley, or in the Catskills. Woodstock is just a two minute drive. Good shopping, dining, and there is a main grocery store. We highly recommend this location and this cottage!!! A bonus for us was the additional "host" doodle 😃 as we were missing our own pets. A little ball catch-n-retrieve warms the spirit . Thanks Jane!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jane's cottage. Jane made booking and check-in a smooth process. The cottage was very clean and supplied with all the amenities one would need. We loved listening to the creek through the screen door. One night we walked to the Millstream Tavern for a drink and then across the street to Cucina for dinner. Book now and enjoy Jane's lovely cottage.

My sister and I needed a quick getaway from the world and found refuge in this sweet little cottage that is right on the creek. The cottage was pristine, fully eqipped, quiet and tastefully decorated. My communication with the owner, Jane, was "easy breezy". Our favorite part of our stay were the sights and sounds of the water! It was truly magnificent. We came to the cottage a little tired from the pressures of life but left rejuvenated and filled with peace. Our short stay was delightful. We will come back! Thank you Jane!

We stayed just a few days at this beautiful property and would've liked to have stayed longer. It was just very peaceful and Beautiful. We had privacy yet an easy walk to town. It feels like it's miles from anywhere. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was as advertised - and even better! It appears to be recently renovated which the owners did a great job with. The view and accessibility to the creek and the peaceful retreat it offered was just what we needed. The proximity to the center of Woodstock was also a huge plus. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after tackling the high peaks. We would absolutely stay here again.

The most charming cabin on a babbling brook. Clean and new. Well appointed. Close to Woodstock. Great area for hiking, art, sightseeing, shopping. Excellent restaurants.

We had an amazing experience at Jane‘s! We found the cottage itself to be absolutely lovely! Perfectly roomy yet still had a cozy feeling. It is well equipped with everything you may need for a carefree stay. The setting is beautiful and far exceeded expectations. The location, with a bedroom view of the stream and outdoor seating is peaceful and idyllic. We loved the town of Woodstock with more to do than then we could see in three days. Very clean, beautiful view from the bedroom and close to Woodstock. Lots of places around for walking, shopping and eating.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. The property was spotless and the view was beautiful. It is located right by the main streets of Woodstock, but also feels like you are secluded in the woods, which we absolutely loved. Absolutely highly recommend!

My partner and I had the most lovely stay at Jane's place. As others have said, the pictures don't do the property justice. The property is beautiful, and the space was cleaner than anywhere I've stayed before. We loved being only two minutes away from town and still having a quiet place near the woods. Jane was lovely and we hope to come back again soon!

Awesome location, accommodating host and a great space overall made for an incredible get away.

As we arrived down the long driveway to this pristine property we were greeted by Jane , our lovely host . The cabin was more beautiful than the pictures . Immaculate , tastefully decorated , warm and comfortable . The surprise was the gorgeous back yard view of the stream you can see threw the bedroom slider that leads you out to the peaceful sounds of water gently rolling down . Located perfectly seconds to the the center of Woodstock , can’t wait to return in the warmer weather to enjoy this beautiful gem .

The cottage is in a perfect area of Woodstock. The backyard stream and the grazing deer made for a pristine backdrop. A perfect place for a peaceful and tranquil rejuvenation!

This home is a slice of heaven. So close to Woodstock but a world away from hustle and bustle when you sit in the back overlooking the stream. We will keep coming!

Cozy cottage in serene setting minutes from town. We had a wonderful stay, very comfortable space with everything you need and nothing you don’t! Loved having morning coffee and evening cocktails by the peaceful stream.

This property is beautiful and was perfect for a 3 day trip for me and my mom. The cottage is so cozy and the proximity to shopping, hiking and restaurants is ideal. The stream out back was so relaxing to sit by and enjoy a good book. We will definitely be back!
