Great place. Wonderfull food. Beach access, heated pool, hot tub, games, vollyball, surf boards ans more. Nidya and her team were super.

Las Palapas exceeded our expectations! As a family of 22 (and 12 were children) there was plenty to do and room for all! The staff was amazing! They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect! Meals and appetizers were awesome. They even made sushi with the fish the boys caught that day! The home was clean. The pool is wonderful. Everyone enjoyed the beach even finding some hermit crabs. Overall it was a dream come true vacation! Thank you to all that made our stay full of lasting memories!

This was our second stay at this wonderful property. The beautiful setting and wonderful amenities made it perfect for our multigenerational family gathering. The shady palapa, the extensive yard, sandy volleyball court, pool, access to beach and ocean toys provided venues/activities everyone in the family. The food and accommodations were also first rate. We’ll definitely be back!

The pictures due not due it justice, it’s way nicer!! The staff was absolutely wonderful, and catered to all of our needs and then some. We had one child that is allergic to a lot of foods, and they prepared a special meal for him every time and we never had an issue; which is rare! We will definitely be back!

We loved every minute of our Las Palapas stay. The staff is fantastic and everything about the house and facilities is top notch. We lacked for nothing. We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a family reunion with 18 of us. It was an amazing spot. The staff were great and friendly. So nice to have tasty food prepped for us. Beach was great for kids. Pool was amazing. A nice to walk into Chacala from Las Palapas. We would definitely rent there again.

Las Palapas is an incredible spot, but what makes it truly extraordinary is the wonderful staff who took care of us so well. They made our vacation perfect and we can't thank them enough!

The house is located on a limited access bay with a great beach and snorkeling just a short swim away. The staff took care of everything in a way that took away any worry. It was fantastic for a family.

The staff is wonderful, food delicious, property perfect for 3 or 4 families. There are 2 bedrooms in each outside palapa and 3 in the main house. The only downside is the length of time it takes to get to the property. Traffic can be a problem, but once you get to the property it's a perfect place to stay. This should clear up by the end of 2022 as a new tollroad is being constructed. We only went into the small town of Chacala once as we had everything we needed at the property. There were tons of games, a volleyball court, surfboards, paddle boards, a pool and a spa. There is also access to tennis and pickle ball courts and lots of paths for walking or running. It is very secure with guards vetting anyone entering the area. A few steps away the beautiful beach area has gentle waves and a dedicated area for swimming. This would be the ideal place for a small family reunion or for friends to rent together as it has privacy at each palapa as well as a common area. The owner is quick to answer questions and the staff is amazing. Oh I forgot...the sunsets are perfect!

Las Palapas has it all! It's safe, lots of room, a wonderful staff that make sure everything runs smoothly, and lots of games and toys. We had a group of 24, with some at a house down the road. Communication is best with the manager and staff, not the owner. He's less wonderful.

The location is absolutely beautiful and tranquil. The staff, Nidia and her team, were amazing and charming. The food was splendid. We had a wonderful, wonderful week!

All in all, this is a wonderful location if you want to just spend your time going from pool to beach and then back again. Very remote location with gorgeous scenery. We really loved the food that was prepared for us by Nydia and her very nice staff! The house is very nice but to be honest, could use a little TLC-nothing to ruin your vacation-this is just an fyi. The master ceiling leaked during a rain storm-we just adjusted the location of the bed. The air conditioners work well but do dump a lot of condensation on the floor-which can be a surprise in the night (my grandsons say) and make for a slippery floor. The jacuzzi is starting to show some wear and tear and the pool bar could use a new fridge. The cement floors are very slippery when wet-but the little ones learned quickly not to run! I am not trying to sound nit-picky; as a traveler I just like to be aware of this stuff to set my expectations correctly. Also, the traffic was really bad-which isn't anyone's fault-just a note. We had planned on visiting a few other places but after sitting in traffic for 2 hours on the way to Sayulita, changed our goals. It's not like swimming in the warm Pacific is a terrible choice! So, Bert's house and location are awesome. Still 5 stars but with some minor issues. My family had a great time just hanging out and plenty of room to get away from each other when they wanted alone time.

I'm personally glad that we kept our group size to 12 and feel like adding two more people could have worked but any more than that and we'd be dancing around each other a bit too much, IMO. But I am not one for crowds which is a big part of why I loved this peaceful location. the boat trips were fun, the paddleboards and snorkels used nearly daily, volleyball in the pool, and having meals served to us 4 times a day was like being at a 5 star resort minus having to jockey for pool chairs! My husband and I shared this wonderful house with our kids, their kids and some friends for 10 beautiful days of perfect sunsets, beach fires, perfect waves, and great food and service. This was our second visit to this property and hopefully not the last. We had originally secured 3 houses in this community for a big family reunion but so many of our family were scared or effected by covid that it didn't happen as we had planned, so maybe there will be another reunion planned in the future when people are not so scared to travel. If we can do this later, this will be the first place I will book, it just doesn't get any better than this!!! Thank you Nyadia and your staff for your great food, beautiful smiles, kindness and friendship. Thanks to Juan, our sweet boat captain and Taxi driver hero when our rental car broke down, he was always there for us when we needed him. Thank you Bert and family for sharing with us once again this magical place. Blessings to all of you!!!!

This place is Heavenly, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and I can't wait to return! I've already booked a return trip!! The staff is wonderful, and they were more like friends while they took great care of everything we needed. The sunsets and sunrise get more beautiful every day of the week. We drove into La Cruz to take a day of sailing and spotted Whales and Dolphins sever times during the day. We also took a small boat in Chacala out several days to explore the coast line, relaxing and beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this house, it was perfect!!

We stayed at Las Palapas with a large group of family and friends. It was absolutely perfect. The staff is amazing. The property manager is local and very helpful. The amenities and house design couldn't get any better. We'll definitely be coming back.

We recently returned from Las Palapas where our extended family (10 adults and 8 children) ranging in age from 3-70s stayed. The property and accommodations are exactly how pictured and were perfect for our large group. Unfortunately we had a few days of rain, but this didn't prevent us from enjoying our time. The pool and hot tub are well heated, and the large covered deck areas kept us dry while still being able to enjoy the outdoors. Las Palpas allows you to have the amenities of a resort, but with much more privacy. The staff are amazing and part of why the experience was so enjoyable. Who can complain about a fully stocked kitchen and private chefs! We also enjoyed the beauty of the gated community for safe walking and saw lots of wildlife (sea turtles, whales, crabs, sting rays, etc.) - a highlight for kids! We highly recommend this property and it's worth the trip to get there!

The setting is perfect, so lovely and relaxing . The staff spoils you rotten and the food is amazing. My happy place!

We came to Las Palapas, for a family Thanksgiving. We had a wonderful week. We played volleyball, pool volley ball, kayaked, SUP , did puzzles, played jenga, watched football, went swimming in the ocean, drank ate. We had a mini Olympics and great family bonding time.

We spent the week at Las Palapas celebrating a 40th Wedding Anniversary with a dozen friends and family memebers. Every person said what an amazing vacation it was, some said their best vacation ever! Paul, Nydia and the entire staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Everyone is over the top nice and the food is absolutely delicious. You cannot find a vacation spot this luxurious and beautiful anywhere else in the world. We love it and will most definitely be back! Thank you Las Palapas for a great family vacation.

What a wonderful place to experience a family vacation! The location is ideal, right on the bay, and steps from the beach. It truly felt like a holiday with Paul, Nydia and their staff taking care of our every need, from making delicious meals and drinks, cleaning, and arranging the whale watching boat tours.
