Private beach. It’s small but PERFECT for my girls weekend. Adorable clean quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view from the back porch where you can see the Bourne Bridge all lit up at night. House has everything you could need and was very clean. We will book here again for sure!

Stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed our time here. The deck was great with a beautiful view. Very close to everything we needed but quiet and peaceful.

The home could use some updates , one room very musty smelling - others were fine- lots of towels and linens and well Equipped kitchen. The deck and nice views unfortunately the small beach area was not As good looking as the photos very weathered furniture.

Great location with friendly neighbors. House and furniture were on the older side, but clean and everything was working. My kids rated it as one of the best houses we stayed in. There is no air conditioning in the main living area, but there are window units in all the bedrooms. Kitchen has all the basics you might need. Plenty of beach chairs by the water. Beach is accessible by a long steep staircase, so not an ideal location for babies/toddlers or elderly. It has a nice sandy area at low tide which almost disappears at high tide. Location is convenient for trips to Cape cod canal and other attractions in sandwich/Hyannis area (we visited heritage gardens, Cape cod mall and went on a whale watching trip). Plenty of stores in ten minute radius if you need to stock up on food or other basics. Definitely would stay again if we decided to come back to this area.

Good house, great beach, perfect for my small children. Only bad part was the grill and outdoor shower didn't work. Bummed having a summer vacation and you can't even grill a good steak.

We loved the house, just the right size for the four of us, it would be a tight squeeze with eight though. The neighborhood was very quiet and the views are fantastic. It reminded me of my parents second home in the Adirondacks, not fancy, which is how I like it. I would book it again.

It was nice. The Chinese restaurant near there was amazing.

Everything was good. I probably wouldnt stay there again but good for a first time.

I enjoyed my stay here with my wife. The location is excellent. Not only do you avoid bridge traffic, but the actual location of this property above the bay is fantastic. The beach is quite a bit below the property but it has its own little beach. We could see the bluefish from shore. The home is nice and it was very clean. We always wipe down hard surfaces with Lysol wipes and usually there's a little residue on the wipes but not here. It passes the "white glove" test. Sure, the house could used some updating in the kitchen and bathroom but it added to a more rustic cottage feel and we were okay with that. Aside from this, the only recommendation I would have is perhaps replacing some of the pots, pans and utensils most are well used and it was hard finding a knife that was sharp enough to cut through grilled chicken breast. Plates, bowls and cups were all fine and relatively new. Jon is a fantastic host and was one of the most responsive hosts I have dealt with this far. This trip was worth every penny. Ken

The kitchen had roaches under the microwave, and over all wasn’t clean. The bathroom also had a urine smell. The beach and Firepit were nice but overall this place felt dirty and not worth the price.

House was in a very quiet neighbor hood, except for the renovation right next door! This property is not for elderly since the beach is 38 steps down and not well kept around stairs! Expect to eat out every night! Dishes are beyond greasy along with dish towels. I would definitely find a different housekeeper because I believe she is not doing her job for the price we pay for cleaning service!

Yes, this house is in a beautiful location and if we had stayed at a time of the year when we could use the beach we might have not have cared about the shabbiness of the house. The kitchen must be original to the house. I would guess 1950's or earlier. There is a lot of storage in the kitchen, perhaps too much. There is a lot of "stuff" and it not organized or useful. It seemed that all the pans were very old. The kitchen did have a good gas stove but the burner on the front created a little fire bomb when it lit and one of the knobs is missing. The kitchen and the bathroom are in serious need of a remodel. The bathroom has a strange smell and has had some repairs that don't appear very professional or clean looking. The living room set up is nice but the queen bed in bedroom we stayed in was pushed into a corner (not shown in any photo), making it hard to get in and out of. The mattress was sunk in the middle so my husband and I felt like we were both sleeping on the side of a hill. There were lightbulbs out in some of the fixtures. The heat was very responsive as the house was cold when we got there but warmed up quickly. We were told by the owner that there were "limited" linens which turned out to mean none. Luckily we brought our own sheets, pillows, comforter, kitchen towels, and bath towels. I had to look around and find an old mattress pad for the bed as the plastic mattress protecter made the bed very hot. Please note that the beach is a full 3 flights of stairs below the house. The stairs themselves are solid but the plant life needs to be neatened up around them. If I had known about the state of this house I would have looked elsewhere.

Had a wonderful time in this home. Very comfortable and homey. The neighbors are very friendly. The only hitch was we didn’t have the sheets and towels but that was because of a family emergency. The other thing that could be checked is the tv voices are not sinked with lips so weird. Hopefully all is well. Would love to rent again.
