Incredibly beautiful home with high end everything! Spotless and extremely comfortable for all! Perfect location. Beautiful beach and fabulous restaurants close by. It was heaven. Thank you Mark for all your care and sharing your exquisite home with us!

This home on little balboa island is the perfect location rental. Located on a quiet, pretty street, steps away from the sand on the bay - short walk to shops on Marine Ave. Biking around the island is easy. Walking is wonderful along all the bay fronts.
Walking onto the property, first you are greeted with a beautiful patio, full of lovely flowers offering that cozy vibe, for your morning cup of coffee. The first floor is wonderful ( fav of mine the tongue and groove ceiling) - furnished with very nice decor, spacious and clean. Laundry room off the first floor is wonderful not in garage. Kitchen clean, fully stocked walk in pantry with any appliance needed. Lots of spices,dishes, cups super cute pineapple wine glasses. Lots of utensils.
Upstairs, 3 bedrooms all beautifully decorated with lovely linens on all the beds.
Master bedroom is spacious,clean,pretty,fireplace and a beautiful vaulted ceiling. Beautiful clean lines,towels,beach towels,soaps, laundry detergent etc are all available. Bathrooms are all super clean, spacious. Master bath has an oversize shower.
3rd floor bunk room is great having its own nest thermostat- no heat rising worries. Rooftop is right off the bunk room. A nice place to enjoy views and a perfect place for al fresco dining.
This home is light,bright,clean and equipped with extra comforts for a wonderful stay- plus garage parking - a must on the island
Communication with host was beyond perfect.

Casa La Pina is one of the very best properties that we have rented. The house itself is gorgeous and very well appointed with all conveniences one could dream of. We particularly appreciated the extremely comfortable master bed, sheets and plush towels. We also loved the charming and quiet locale on the little island. Finally, Mark is a delightful host and was very solicitous about our needs and comfort. A true find.

Wonderful house, perfect location
This is a beautiful house, just like the pictures show. The details of this home are wonderful and it feels like your own home not like most rental homes. The house is so well maintained and does not feel like a worn rental house. It has a great layout with all the bedrooms upstairs and the living spaces downstairs. The master bedroom is very spacious and the 1 year old in our family was able to sleep in his portable crib in the walk in closet in the master. It's like another bedroom for an infant which is very helpful. My 9 & 12 year olds loved the bunk beds on the 3rd floor. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us.
The house location on "little" Balboa Island was so convenient and peaceful. There are less people driving and biking on little Balboa and we felt quite spoiled there. The house is only a 2 block walk to the main street with shops & restaurants. And we spent most evenings on the front patio with wine & cheese, enjoying the firepit. Mark was a wonderful host and very communicative upfront and during our stay with any questions. We will definitely be back again!

The perfect getaway!
Mark and Cindy’s home is five stars! From the moment you walk through the front door, you’re met with beauty and comfort. It’s the perfect home away from home — clean, updated, includes everything in the kitchen to pull off a great meal and, best, two hosts that care about your experience and are incredibly prompt in answering questions.
My family and I made such wonderful memories during our stay and would love the opportunity to do it again.

Summer stay on the little island
The property was just as the pictures portrayed and the house had everything you need to have an enjoyable summer vacation on Balboa Island. The little Island is a great place to stay because its a a quiet neighborhood with no thru traffic yet it's walking distance to restraurants, shopping and the beach.

LOVELY from beginning to end!
What a lovely experience, renting from Mark & Cindy! They were thoughtful and attentive even before we got there - I knew we were in good hands.
Once we got there, it only got better. Their kitchen was a dream to work in. The beds and sheets were super high quality. The house was decorated for Christmas which of course kept us in good spirits. They had great recommendations for the island.
Three generations all thoroughly enjoyed! Highly highly recommend renting.

Above and Beyond Other Rentals
My wife and I are very experienced in renting vacation properties. We have rented properties up and down the beach from LA to San Diego and in the Palm Springs CA area. We have worked with various agencies and property owners.
I can easily declare that our Thanksgiving Holiday stay at this property was probably the best rental experience we have ever had.
The quality of accommodations was outstanding. Everything from the first class bed linens and towels to the well stocked, modern kitchen to the comfortable family room/sitting area was enjoyed by our family of six adults and two small children. There are beautiful outdoor seating areas and a clean and spacious garage. This property is clearly a step above the typical Newport Beach/Balboa area rental. Our whole group agreed that this was the cleanest and best maintained property we have ever rented.
Another important factor for us when we rent a property is our level of trust and communication with the property owner. Mark was amazing to work with and he made the process so simple and efficient. He provided us with excellent instructions on the property and he gave us great local tips. Mark was a joy to work with.
It goes without saying...this will be our "go-to" property the next time we are looking to rent a place in the Newport Beach area.

Casa la Pina is a lovely home that fit our three generational family's needs. It has many amenities including a well-stocked kitchen and laundry room, quality towels and bedding , a bbq and comfortable patio. Mark, the owner, is a responsive host and delightful to work with.

We are a family of 7 adults plus one 2 year old. We had a wonderful experience here. Was very comfortable & well furnished. Beds were comfortable & house was clean. Owner extremely easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Home away from home
This vacation rental is a true beauty. It was our home away from home for a month this spring. The home itself is in pristine condition, the interior decor is beautiful and the home is well equipped for a very comfortable stay. The neighbors were all very welcoming and made our stay even more meaningful. Everything was within walking distance which we loved. Morning walked to Dad's donuts or Wilma's Patio for breakfast. The ferry to Big Balboa island is also walking distance. Mark and Cindy were more than accommodating, they went out of their way to see that our stay was a 5 star experience. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The Best Rental Property on Little Balboa Island
This immaculate property offers the ultimate in Little Balboa Island living! It’s about 50 feet to the water & a two minute walk to Marine Ave with restaurants, shopping, banana stands & more. The open concept floorplan is great for gathering in the family room, which also has French doors that lead to the front patio for entertaining “al fresco.” It’s the perfect place to spend time with family & friends. And with fresh linen & towel services, it’s better than the Ritz!

Our Stay in Casa la Pina
First of all, you won’t do better than Casa la Pina. The hosts are the best...accommodating and responsive, promptly answering any questions.
The home is spacious, welcoming and equipped with just about anything you can imagine. You can walk everywhere while enjoying shops, great restaurants, amazing sunsets and even the grocery store. You can create a gourmet meal or easily bring in take out and soak in the delightful pleasure of the fire pit as the evenings cool. Great shopping opportunities are an easy drive away. We even enjoyed a fabulous symphony concert one night. A week doesn’t allow enough time for all possibilities available from this home away from home. Next trip we will venture farther to other south Orange County sites. There will be a next time.

Fantastic on Balboa Island!
All the rave reviews are accurate - this is NOT just any vacation rental; it’s a very high quality home with all you could hope for on your vacation to this charming island in the Newport Harbor. The location is perfect, close to town, but not too close. The best waterfront on all the island is just steps away, and from there, you can stroll the entire island's waterfront for a wonderful sightseeing walking tour.
The owners have thought of everything. It feels like a friend’s luxurious home. The kitchen is magnificent and completely equipped with name brand appliances and even has warming drawers. The gas barbecue is located on a patio adjacent to the kitchen through sliding glass doors. The dining room table seats eight comfortably, and there’s additional abundant seating on the front patio around a fire pit / table. All perfect for entertaining...
This home deserves it's accolades and high ratings. The owners are great to work with and more attentive than management companies. We’ve stayed in other homes on the island before, this is clearly THE best. You will not be disappointed !!!

The best on Little Balboa
Over the years we have rented many houses on both Balboa Islands (Big & Little Islands). This house is at the top of the list. Great condition, best location, great Landlord, best of everything. This is our second year (two weeks each stay) at this home. We will return next year. Can't say enough good things about this home.

Home away from home...
Owners Mark and Cindy have outdone themselves with this ‘gem’ on the Little Island. The house has every amenity you could ask for on vacation from high end linens to a fully loaded kitchen, technology and more. As always, our family had a magical week on the island and in this home away from home.

Our family of 9 had a wonderful 4th of July week Casa Pina on Little Balboa Island. The home was well equipped and very comfortable. Just steps to the beach with bay views and an easy walk to the shops and restaurants on Marine Ave. Highly recommend !

Wonderful - third consecutive year.
As always, the property was immaculate, fully equipped and easily accommodated our group of parents, grandparents, kids and grand kids.
Grandmother is wheelchair bound but this was not a problem here. Weather was great and enjoyed many hours on front patio, relaxing, utilizing the firepit on the cooler evenings. Owners, Mark and Cindy, work hard to make certain every need is anticipated.

Beautiful home in a great location
This home is well cared for and very clean. We had a family get together and parking on the street was not a problem. We could walk to town, to the ferry, and were just a few houses from the harbor. The owner was easy to communicate with and available if we had a question or a problem.
