Our stay in Key Colony did not disappoint. This cottage was spacious and well appointed. Close to both ends of the Keys for day trips. Visited the dolphin research center. Wonderful work happening there ! The Cabana Club was a great bonus! Would highly recommend your stay here!

Our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids, 10 & under) had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed visiting the pool one day, beach another, and rented a boat for a few days. The kayak at the house was perfect to entertain kids up and down the canal. The house was super clean. If we needed anything, the property manager always responded pretty quickly. Great house, great place, and great family vacation.

This house was perfect for our group. A king size bed in both bedrooms was the key. So comfortable. The house was just the right size for 2 couples. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and small appliances. The screened in porch was perfect for breakfast. The seating area outside on the turf was the best. We were there to paddleboard and launched off the dock out back, very convenient with many places to explore. Sunset beach is right around the corner where everyone gathers for a sunset celebration. The only thing that we really would change is to have basic cable or directv. The only available TV was internet so we had no local channels or football. Also I fall asleep watching TV and that was a challenge when I went to bed trying to find something on the limited internet bedroom TV and the last night it would not even hook up to the internet, not a deal breaker because we were not there to watch TV but at night when you were winding down local channels would be nice. Overall the place is clean, comfortable and feels like home and it's in a great location, we will be returning .

This house is located a short walk from Sunset Park. It is well furnished and very comfortable. The large screened-in Patio is a wonderful space. I would stay here again.

The house was perfect for the two of us! Cleanliness is VERY important to me and this house was immaculate. The dock and back yard were very nice and wonderfully maintained. Definitely a good choice!

This property was the perfect spot for our family vacation! The property was spotless when we arrived and had everything we could have needed. Gregg was great at promptly replying when we accidentally locked ourselves out and made our time a breeze. The location was ideal, right on the water, near the two beaches and almost everything was in walking distance. It was a beautiful property and the outdoor area was the perfect spot to make lots of memories! Thanks for providing a great spot for my family! We will absolutely be back!

The house was exactly as listed. We loved being able to hop on our boat everyday from our own dock. We enjoyed riding the bikes to the Cabana Club for a dip in the pool. Nice neighborhood.

The house was spectacular to say the least & everything about it worked out well with our group. The dock was in great condition, which always eases your mind when you bring your boat along. The Cabana Club was a fun way to spend a few afternoons & the drinks were refreshing. KC is a great neighborhood for biking & walking, and the permanent neighbors were very friendly. We enjoyed the porch and the outside area everyday and cannot wait to book and do it again!

Loved the location, easy access by boat to the bay and ocean side. We kayaked Duck Key and Curry Hammock St Park, enjoyed Sombrero beach. The house is only an hour by car from Key West or Islamorada. We loved the nightly neighborhood celebration watching the sunset at the park. Extremely clean and well equipped home. The only thing it could use are some new pillows and a cork screw. We really didn’t want to leave.

This was a great condo for our week in the Florida Keys. Everything was neat and clean, and ready for us to just step in and relax. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, as we had several of our meals in. We had family in the area, and it was very nice that they were able to spend evenings with us and we felt like we were entertaining in our own home! With all of the Florida Keys within a short drive, Marathon was central for whatever we chose to do. There are plenty of local restaurants and activities.Gregg was great to work with and was very accommodating for any requests we had. When we visit the area again, this will be the condo we choose.

Marathon is a great place to stay on the keys in the middle of everything. This property was well equipped with all necessities and the back yard area was private and relaxing. Bed was comfortable and the place looked like the VRBO listing. Great stay.

Key colony is a wonderful relaxing area. We will definitely come back.

This property provided the perfect open-air experience we were looking for. The turf in the back was the best to hang out on and the screened in porch was ideal for dinner and games. We enjoyed the location which was in walking distance to everything we wanted such as Inch Beach or to watch the sunset at the park. This house was very clean and set up with all the amenities to play and fish. It was perfect for our family.

I can't say enough how cozy, clean and beautiful this house is. We will stay at this house again whenever we come back at Marathon.

My husband and I stayed in this house for a week for our honeymoon. It was everything we could have wanted! The location was perfect, quiet neighborhood but close enough to everything we wanted. We loved being able to fish right out the back door, caught several throughout the week. Two wonderful bedrooms with comfortable beds and great air conditioning. I would not call this house three bedrooms, as the other bed is a pullout couch in the living room. Overall, very happy with our stay and would love to stay again.

As a former VRBO owner, we pretty much know what to look for in a rental. But we were more than pleasantly surprised that the pictures were accurate, the house was spotless and very well equipped. Gregg, the manager, answered every question we had, including providing fishing rods for us to use. Key Colony Beach is a great location and we will certainly be back.

House was perfect, very clean and well furnished. Location was great. We enjoyed all of the outdoor seating and screened in porch area. We rented kayaks and paddleboards to use in the canals. There is plenty of room to park your boat. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Keys.

Property was perfect for our family! The dock is one of the best docks on the street. The backyard and screened in porch was AMAZING and we enjoyed it immensely. The island is perfect, and is the perfect spot for families. We will definatley be returning! Only recommendation I would make for those who are staying on the island, is to rent enough bikes for everyone if you have more than two people coming. The kids loved riding them around and we wished we would have rented some more so we could have rode bikes together as a family around the island. Also, if you dont have a boat, rent/bring a kayak or a paddle board for exploring.

There were no recent reviews for the property so we were a little nervous walking in but the house looked exactly like the photos! It smelled clean and we were greeted with a bottle of hand sanitizer on the counter. Everything was represented 100% accurate. Key Colony is a sleepy little beach town and exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed a few trips to Inch Beach, took a fishing charter with Captain Tadd (caught our limit of Mangrove Snapper in less than an hour so he took us to two different snorkeling spots!), and enjoyed some local restaurants. We cooked dinner at home several nights and I have never been in a rental house as well equipped as this one! Pretty much everything we needed in a kitchen was there! One minor issue was the power for the house...if the hot water heater, air conditioning and range were on at the same time then the main breaker would trip. We quickly figuredout the workaround...after we showered before dinner, we killed the hot water heater breaker so we could cook, then after dinner we turned the hot water heater back on. A little creative power management made the small inconvenience a non-issue. We loved this house and our first Keys experience and look forward to returning soon!

My family and I were looking for a house on the water we could bring our boat to. The dock was great. The canal has very easy access to the ocean side and bay side. We very much enjoyed our time there.

All in all, we had a great time and the property and location were perfect for us. Our only complaint was with the cleanliness of the home. The couple that did the cleaning were not thorough at all. The hall bathroom mirror still had water splatter and or toothpaste all over it which made me wonder if they even cleaned this bathroom. I found an empty beer can in one of the drawers. The refrigerator had the remnants of a blue sticky drink all over the shelves. The gas grill out back hadn't been cleaned (after being used by previous guest) and we found a dirty spatula covered in grilled hamburger meat and a dirty glass half filled with a blue drink on the grill so I believe they missed the grill completely. The kitchen, hallway and living room floor was so sticky that our flip flops stuck to it when we walked across it. Also, all of the previous guests garbage was left for us to smell for 3 days until the garbage man came to pick up. This property would have earned 5 stars if owner/manager would hire new cleaning person/crew. Beautiful home, well stocked, great location, horrible cleaning job! Thank you for sharing your home and I am sure you would want to know this about your cleaning people as I also own a rental property in the mountains and would want to know if my guests experienced something negative like this.

The house had everything we needed and was so nicely appointed from fishing gear and bikes to a stocked kitchen and cable TV w/DVR. The location in Key Colony Beach is perfect! Access to Inch Beach and Cabana Club pool was a bonus. We loved sitting on the back patio or in the screened porch and watching the activity of the canal. Fished right from the dock and rented kayaks that were delivered right to the house and we could explore the canals by water. We will definitely return to this slice of paradise - thank you for an amazing vacation!

Nice, quiet, canal front property in safe neighborhood. Very clean with updated décor and plenty of room for everyone. We spent our evenings grilling out front and were thrilled to see many different marine species around dusk right from our deck (spotted eagle manta rays, nurse sharks and parrot fish to name a few). I've used VRBO for about 5 years now and this is the best property I've stayed at thus far!!!!

We had a wonderful stay in the house. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed (2 adults, 4 kids). We really enjoyed the screened room and fishing off the dock...caught snappers, barracuda, and LOTs of pinfsh=). Rented kayaks and enjoyed tooling around the canals..had a visit from a manatee and saw spotted rays as well. Inch beach was beautiful and quiet and we enjoyed the community gathering at Sunset Beach. Thanks for the beautiful property and great location for a relaxing fun spring break!

Inside and outside this home was amazing. Wonderful outdoor seating areas. Comfortable and bright inside. Two king size beds is a bonus. Very quiet neighborhood. Saw some interesting creatures in the canal. Easy access to shops, grocery and restaurants.

Perfect vacation home. We enjoyed our time there and hope to be back! Loved access to inch beach, sunset beach, and cabana club pool as well. Nicely decorated and had all the amenities.
