Property was as advertised. The home is spacious and lovely and met our needs completely.

We were so excited about this house. It was just as pictured and much much more. Not only were rooms comfortable but they had everything you could think of Plenty of cookware, a pack & play for a baby, booster seats and plenty of games. Brought a lot of these things ourselves and we didn’t have to Spent much of the time with the family on the porch. It’s a very beautiful, clean home and we had a great stay

We had a great stay on Kiawah and this house was perfect for our family vacation. Great location, beautiful kitchen, close walk to the beach and wonderful pool! Would definitely stay there again!

Very nice home with well equipped kitchen and bar area. Abundant towels and linens. Grill was immediately replaced by very responsive Owner when first one failed. Dual heat/cool zones. Electronics worked well. Would recommend.

Beautiful home! Everything was really clean and well cared for. Best stocked vacation home we’ve ever stayed in! The pool was greatly enjoyed by all. Hope to come back next year.

This was our fifth trip to Kiawah, but our first time at this property. I wish we had always stayed here!! So much room, the kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, the pool was great, the furniture comfortable, the beds! I was so mad that I slept in a few times because the bed was so comfortable and I slept so soundly I didn’t hear my alarm! I could keep going. Matt and Kathy are amazing hosts. I had some questions and they are so prompt in responding. I truly felt so comfortable at their home and working with them. They are friendly and I truly felt they want you to enjoy your time - it doesn’t just feel like a business transaction and that was refreshing!!! My family (two teens and a younger one) have informed the hubs and I we are not permitted to stay anywhere else on Kiawah - ever. An endorsement from teens (who are never happy, lol) is worth its weight in gold!! If you’re considering the property and still reading my review…book it! You won’t regret it.

This is a beautiful home with fantastic, friendly and responsive owners! The area is gorgeous and it was a quiet and private location. Our only issue was that the house wasn’t cleaned to our standards and perhaps the owners need to be made aware and find a new cleaning crew.

The house is large, well equipped and very lovely. It is quiet and very private back by the wonderful swimming pool. Lots of spaces for our family to spread out, have private time if needed but also to gather as a group.

Kiawah is one of our very special “ happy places” for over 45 years . This was second time we enjoyed a week in this beautiful and comfy home, first time was as 4 couples, old friends. We cooked together most every night , enjoyed the super clean pool, and I got all 8 old folks on rental bikes ( all 70+ !) to go to beach. That was really fun . This time we had our 2 adult children/ spouses and teenage grandsons. The bike ride to beach is easy and pretty , just be very careful as you cross Governor’s Drive to bike bath, remind all to look both ways. We had breakfast and most lunches at home , nice big kitchen , and ate out most nights. Everyone did their own thing during day , some biking to beach, filming a sunrise, looking for alligators, many enjoying swimming ,sunning near boardwalk 32, some bike riding to the Night Heron Park, ( basketball playing teenagers really enjoyed hanging there late afternoon till dark ) several trips to restaurants at Fresh Fields , some trips to Charleston for sightseeing. We gathered in evening for family time , such a great house for everyone to relax. Pool is so well maintained , plenty of furniture , great TVs and good wi-if , nice big grill is very clean ( some rentals are not so clean ) House is spacious and nice layout . With many sweet family pictures displayed throughout the house , it is easy to see how Matt and Kathy have made so many special memories over the years . The house is accurately described and very comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen, nice layout, pleasant outdoor spaces. There are a lot of extras (lots of books, kids’ toys, booster seats for the kids, more towels than most rentals offer, the use of the garage). There was a generous vibe to the house (e.g., a note to ‘feel free to take a book home if you haven’t yet finished it’) and it felt like we were living in a family home versus a rental house. The pool is especially nice…super clean (and well-maintained—a pool cleaner serviced the pool the week we were there), heated, and in a nice private setting with plenty of seating.

This was our first visit to Kiawah Island and this house made the visit extra special. We came here with our kids and grandkids to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and this was the perfect house for that. The home is beautiful with amazing surroundings. The home is tastefully decorated and furnished very nicely. It was clean, very spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. All four bedrooms had a full bathroom, which was really nice. There is a very large table in the dining room that accommodated all 8 of us easily and you could even seat more than that. The bar area was a big hit with the ice machine and wine cooler under the counter, very nice amenities to have. We all enjoyed a very nice pool and patio area in the the back of the home. Lots of chairs, lounge chairs, and small tables around the pool. There were also lots of pool toys that we could use. There is a nice screened in porch with table and chairs and the back porch overlooking the pool is well furnished with chairs, rocking chairs, benches, and a Weber gas grill, which we enjoyed using. The front porch is also quite spacious with rockers and tables as well. The owners were very quick to respond with any questions and very easy to communicate with during the whole process. They also gave us lots of tips for shopping and dining in the area and even sent us a nice map of the island which was very handy. We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on Kiawah Island and in this beautiful home on a beautiful island. If you’re thinking about a trip to Kiawah and looking for a place to stay you, will enjoy this spacious lovely home!

We loved Kiawah- most beautiful vacation place I have ever been to. The house was spacious and gorgeous!! Caution- no grab bars in showers though. Probably not a concern for most, but was for one of our group!! Would love to return!

Our a Kiawah stay was fantastic, thanks to this incredible home. Perfectly situated on the island with easy access to the beach via a beautiful oak covered walkway that is roughly a ten minute walk or if you do what we did and I highly recommend it, get bikes to ride around the island and it cuts the time it takes to get to the beach to 5 minutes. House is well stocked, the pool was amazing, the beds comfy, plenty of space and it is a beautiful home. Easily accommodated our family of seven.

This home is perfect for a wonderful beach vacation. It was large enough to accommodate our family comfortably. The common area was a great place to congregate for meals, games, puzzles and conversation. Our family particularly enjoyed the heated pool and the selection of amazing golf courses on the island. The host family is very communicative and quick to respond. Lots of pool and beach toys were available for our use. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, private and beautiful beach/golf vacation.

The House was beautiful and comfortable for my spouse and myself, my 3 adult children, one spouse and one 2.5 year old grandchild. The 4 bedrooms each had their own bathroom and each was private from the rest of the house, so quiet for naps and nights. The open area of living room, dining room and Kitchen were perfect for our group. The highlight turned out to be the heated salt water swimming pool. Everyone swam or walked or played or lolled in the pool at one time or another. The baby began his early swim lessons and by the end of the week wanted only to be in he pool. We also walked or biked on the paths to the beautiful Kiawah beaches. Even though it was April, we waded and body surfed in the ocean waves. It was a great vacation!

Everything was perfect. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. I’ve rented many houses on Kiawah and one thing always falls flat (pun intended) - the pillows. Not here! They were fluffy and wonderful! The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend!

The house was even better than pictured. It was the perfect place for our group for race weekend. The owners have thought of everything you need. There were 7 adults and we all had plenty of space. Beds were very comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed here for a family wedding and the house was perfect! There were 10 of us and we never felt cramped as there was more than enough room for all of us to hangout, eat and sleep comfortably. The house was very clean and the hosts were awesome and super responsive. If you book this house, you will surely enjoy your stay on beautiful Kiawah Island!

We had a fabulous stay! The house is stocked with everything you would need to relax on your vacation, from kitchen items (wraps, utensils, appliances incl waffle maker) to ample towels and full-size washer/dryer. The heated pool was a major plus for our younger guests since the beach was a bit too chilly and there were ample pool floats/toys provided. Good sized 2 car garage for our vehicles, coolers and rented bikes. These owners thought of every convenience you would need so you can pack/shop minimally ahead of time. We are ready to book again for next year!

Great home! Lots of room to spread out. Fully equipped kitchen with lots of supplies. Fabulous location. Very clean and tidy. Nice having a garage for our cars. Pool was lovely, although the weather was too cool to use it. Nice bar area and wine cooler. Comfy beds. Plenty of living room seating. Large dining table for a big crowd. Communication with owner was wonderful!

We had 7 adults and a 10 mo. old. We each had our own rooms and bathrooms which was key for our family and there was even a pack-n-play, toys, and high chair. We spent most days biking and walking on the easily accessed trails as well as time in the heated pool (with multiple pool toys available) making it an extra special play time providing wonderful memories with our grandson and children. Mornings on the screen porch for coffee and planning for the day was the best. Extremely relaxing. We highly recommend this home for your next family getaway.

Exactly as advertised. Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood with beautiful landscaping. Loved the walks and bike rides to the beautiful beach. Enjoyed the local shopping and restaurants! Will definitely go back again!

Layout of house was easy for our family. We enjoyed the lovely porches and the pool was wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The pool deck was terrific as it had Lounge chairs and seating for our whole family. It was nice to have the screened in porch and open air porch too.

Overall was a very positive experience. Well equipped. If there was a negative the only thing would be a lot of garbage from previous guests and don’t think the garbage went on Friday as was suppose to

This was our second time staying at this property, third time on Kiawah. Made the mistake of booking a different house last year and made sure we didn’t do that again! This property has all the amenities, a bathroom for each bedroom, well stocked kitchen, big open space for family gatherings and plenty of covered porch space with rockers and ceiling fans to relax and read a book! Recommend 10/10.

We enjoyed every moment of this vacation. The house was absolutely perfect for my family, location, pool was everything would needed and more. Thank you for renting to my family, we are hoping to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Kiawah. It was well appointed, close to the beach, great pool, and nice bar area/screened in porch. We would highly recommend.

This is the third time we have stayed at this property with our family. It is wonderful home with a great location and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Matt is great to work with and quikc to respond when making arrangements. We plan on continuing to vacation in this home as long as our family size allows!
