The location, being in the town centre. The room was very clean and comfortable.

No parking available near by! It was a very busy night in Dieppe but Claire the host had given us options to help the situation

We liked two things: its very central position; its cleanness.

Access was difficult. Exiting was also difficult. Breakfast was not provided. It was noisy.

We loved this little studio room. The location could not be more central. The room was big enough for us and also had a small well equipped kitchenette in it. Look in the cupboards and drawers for utensils etc. The shower was also good and the host had placed a hairdryer, toothpaste and shower gel in the drawers under the sink. The view from the large window down the main street was great too

The only thing I wished could have been better was that the curtains were very thin. It's also worth noting that if you don't like stairs then this might not be for you.

unlike most chambre d’hôte, there was no breakfast, and we never met our host. the description said parking, but it was at the beach. we were not shown how to exit the exterior door, so we were stuck there until someone came along

Good value and an excellent central location in the pedestrianised main street. Tha apartment has everything you need for a short (one- or two-night?) stay, if you are reasonably fit. A very large and excellent farmers and fishermen's street market on Saturday mornings. An historic cafe and restaurant on the "pointy" corner 100 or so metres away. Great for breakfast, coffee, or lunch.

The apartment is above a shop at the top of a 4- storey building - lots and lots of stairs (for us seniors!).

Handy for ferry port.

Very central location. Very clean. Comfy bed. Good price for what and where it was.

No breakfast offered. Room smelt strongly of bleach when we arrived. The street was noisy throughout the night and light because of street lamps, with no black out curtains. Could hear people walking about above us.

It was clean and bright but more AirBNB then hotel. Black out blind to block out the street light right outside the window.

No breakfast, no reception just instructions (in French) after the fact to go to the bar next door and collect keys. We then struggled to locate the room, could not connect to WIFI despite attempting it multiple times. Called the number in the room only to be told to call the number on Booking.com, mobile reception was useless. Got a call back in French telling me how to connect to the internet which as far as I understood it still did not work. No-one to talk to for any questions, couldn't connect to wifi, room too warm, no air con. Had to open window to let in air but also let in noise from the Main Street. Bar next door where we collected our keys just shrugged their shoulders when I asked questions

Location on Grand Rue is in a busy pedestrianised road. A little strange to be sent a message to collect a key from a bar but once we arrived we realised that the rooms are above Le Regent brasserie and bar. The room was like a mini apartment with fridge, microwave, crockery, electric hob (in a cupboard), kettle and tea/coffee etc. Black out blinds were provided to shield us from any light from the street at night. Lovely pizza right opposite.

Access to the rooms was via a very narrow and winding staircase. We left our trolley bags in the car and took in only the minimum for an overnight stay in our knapsacks. At 68 and 80 we would have preferred normal stairs or a lift but it would not have been possible in this building.

The room was in a great location and super clean! Fresh towels were delivered to us on the second day and it had everything we needed.

The balcony doors were soundproof when shut, but as it was the peak of summer with hot nights sleeping with the balcony doors open was very noisy. That is the price of such a central location!

It was in the city centre.

The access to the property was difficult to locate. The only sign to show we were at the right place was on a balcony above a cafe. We rang the number on the sign and were told a man would be with us in 5 minutes and when he did arrive he wasn't very pleasant. He showed us where the access to the property was. The steps up to the room were extremely narrow and the hand rail was a piece of rope which isn't safe. The room was a studio, but wasn't advertised as that. It was extremely small with no clothes storage. We had to hang our clothes on the radiator in the bathroom. It was 23 degrees, there was no fan and because we were in the centre of the town we couldn't leave the window open.

Very clean and modern. Great for an overnight stay. Location was central but not noisy apart from the gulls.

Access to the apartments was a bit fiddly, locking and unlocking various doors though good for security. Parking was very difficult as busy time of the year. Watch out for car parks used for street markets.

Excellent location, clean, safe and everything worked.

It got very hot at night- a fan would have helped. Pillows were also a little lumpy.
