Our Alaskan adventure turned luxurious the moment we entered this stunning Girdwood home. The heart of the house is undoubtedly the gourmet kitchen. It's a culinary playground for anyone who loves to cook, and top-of-the-line appliances make every meal an effortless pleasure. Need measuring spoons? There's an entire drawer of those. But the magic extends far beyond the kitchen. This home is a testament to stunning architecture, blending quietly with the Alaskan landscape. It offers outstanding views that feel like a part of the living space. We're already looking forward to a return visit, eager to create more unforgettable memories in this wonderland!

We stayed here with friends and family and we were all incredibly comfortable! Highly recommend to escape in Alaska. The host was always available and so helpful.

This home is absolutely beautiful with the most amazing views! Sitting at the top of the hill, you can see above the trees and thru to the water! The house has everything you need with very comfortable bedding! It is close to the resort and the Double Mushky restaurant close by does not disappoint!! Lots of hiking trails! Just a wonderful peaceful place!

I have stayed in a ton of various VRBO's from Tahoe, Palm Springs, San Diego, Newport Beach, Downieville and other out of reach locations but this place was perfect for my 50th Birthday get away with a group of my buddies! Marilyn the property owner was awesome!! Helped me with questions / planning / suggestions before the trip and was just really easy to work with. As for the house..... it was perfect and super clean! Plenty of beds and rooms for everyone to sleep.... Hot tub was hot / clean and they provided simple instructions to keep it that way during our entire stay. Best part of the house is the 3rd floor living space & kitchen which connects to a huge deck with insanely beautiful views of the valley and ridgeline on the other side. VRBO doesn't lie either, great chef's kitchen.... large gas stove top, 2 dishwashers and an enormous island to serve food and drinks from.... Kitchen is also well stocked with sharp knives and a ton of cookware etc. Marilyn also keeps a good amount of cooking necessities in the house such as spices, oils, honey etc.! And don't forget the huge gas grill and smoker.... Long story short.... they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable! Any directions / instructions are clear and readily available. If anything might go wrong with the property while you are there, I am 100% confident they would be all over it... Looking to plan a winter trip back to Girdwood!

Our party of 8 stayed at this elegant modern house in Girdwood for 3 nights in July 2023. We were multi-generational: my wife and me; our daughter, her husband and their two girls; and our son and one of his girls. The kids' ages ranged from 4 to 7. We had driven down from Anchorage to celebrate a milestone birthday for my wife with dinner at the Seven Glaciers restaurant followed by cake and ice cream back at the house. We all had a wonderful time hanging out with family and hiking and visiting the Nordic Spa at the Alyeska Resort The house is well located in a residential section of Girdwood, up a hill with magnificent mountain and ocean view, including from a spacious deck off the third floor. The third floor is also where the large gourmet kitchen and a 10-person capacity dining table are located, along with a comfortable sitting area. We housed each family unit in a separate bedroom suite and were very comfortably accommodated. The host was easily reached by text and email throughout the booking process and during our stay. Overall, this is a modern, well-equipped house in a beautiful location.

This house is nothing short of amazing. The views were spectacular, the location was great, and the amenities were amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer! We were in Girdwood for only a couple days before heading down to Seward for a wedding, and this was the perfect place to stay with our family. The hosts were extremely communicative and available whenever I had questions. Next time we are in town we will absolutely be staying again. Thanks for the amazing experience!

If you are considering this property for your vacation, do not hesitate…book it now! It is more beautiful than the photos depict and it is in a great location! Centrally located to enjoy many amazing activities…ATVing, glacier helicopter touring, ziplining, fishing and much more! The owner, Marilyn, makes check-in effortless and is extremely helpful! We will definitely be returning!

This home is beautiful and provides one of the best views in Girdwood. The kitchen is top notch and equipped with anything you may need. The hot tub on the second floor balcony is huge and well-maintained. I can’t say enough good things about this home and the host. Hopefully will be back soon!

Our family celebrated our mother’s 85th birthday with a week-long trip to Alaska. Staying at this beautiful house was truly the icing on the cake. The house itself and its panoramic views are absolutely stunning, even when it’s raining. I’ve never stayed at a more immaculate or well-stocked rental. The kitchen had an array of quality cooking vessels, dishware and glassware, plus abundant towels and paper towels. You will not run out of fridge/freezer space here. Pick up some local Black Cup coffee beans in Anchorage and enjoy some delicious brew. The baths were equally well-stocked. Bedding, linens and towels all spotless and comfy. The hot tub was amazing with powerful jets and immaculate, like everything else. This house whispers comfort and class everywhere. Marilyn was highly responsive to any inquiries from the time of booking through the duration of our stay. She was most pleasant and helpful with local suggestions. The location was a perfect base for us to explore Seward, Palmer and Girdwood, where we especially enjoyed dinners at the Spoonline Bistro and a birthday finale at Seven Glaciers.

Property is impeccable and the owner is an absolute joy to work with. We have been renting VRBOs for 5 years now and we have never stayed at a better property.

We were only to stay one night but would've loved to stay longer. This rental is gorgeous-the house itself and the area. It is very accurately depicted in the photos and description, but even better in person. Marilyn is the most gracious and helpful host. She responds immediately and is so kind to answer questions and give advice about the area. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a great time here. Hot tub with views of the water, fire pit, beautiful kitchen. Everything in the house is well marked and easy to follow.

The mountains, the sea, the forestry, it’s breathtaking, and our host provided the perfect perch from which to enjoy all of it. This is the perfect home for a family or a small group of good friends. All bedrooms comfortable, clean and private. The living room and deck open to a magnificent vista. The gourmet kitchen invites you to enjoy a few meals at home. If you like to grill, there is a wonderful gas grill on the deck. We could not imagine staying anywhere else in Girdwood and enjoying it more.

This house does not disappoint! The views and design are amazing! We had 10 people stay in the house and were very comfortable. The house was extremely clean and Marilyn was very helpful. Would def stay here again.
