Great vacation, really had fun.

Our family of four met up with my parents for an 8-night stay at this beautiful condo. We had a small snafu at check-in but it was quickly resolved by the owner. The rest of our stay was amazing! The condo was well appointed and equipped with everything we needed. The staff at the restaurants and pool were friendly and accommodating. The pools were perfect - warm temperature, enough space between lounge chairs to not feel cramped and with the exception of 1-2 busy days, we never struggled to find 3-4 chairs. For those who have stayed in Cabo in years past, you should know that the recent hurricane has dramatically reshaped the beach and the water now comes up nearly all the way to the hotel's seawall. We liked that the beach was more flat but there are no longer any lounge chairs/umbrellas along the beach.

The property was very nice and kept very clean, thanks to the hotel cleaning service provided 3 times during our stay. The unit is large and very comfortable, but be aware that the 2nd bedroom (which we did not need) has a separate entry. This can be nice if you're staying with grown kids or other adults, but not so great if you have little ones. It did not affect our stay at all. We were surprised and disappointed that there was nothing supplied in the kitchen--no spices, dish soap, dishwasher soap, sponge, brush, paper towels, trash can liners, etc. I contacted the owner, but was told he doesn't supply this because he can't track supply/item shelf life, but I don't see how this could possibly affect the kitchen soap/paper supplies. Not having basic soaps in the kitchen is completely unacceptable. It was bad enough that there was only salt and pepper and no other spices whatsoever, not even sugar, but I refuse to buy basic kitchen supplies for a rental. Just be aware if you stay here that the only things supplied are toilet paper, and small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion, which are all replenished when needed. Villa la Estancia is in a decent location in Cabo, with only a 15 minute walk to town via the beach or road. We found the food at the resort to be decent, but nothing special, and it's quite costly if you don't have the all inclusive package. And keep in mind the 'all inclusive' package does not include alcohol, and it's not an option. We will be staying at Villa la Estancia again with our kids/grandkids, but much prefer buildings 1 and 2, most of which have great views of Land's End in addition to the ocean view that this property also has. When my husband and I come alone to Cabo again, we will stay elsewhere.

Always an enjoyable stay. Clean, spacious, and relaxing. We love this unit.

Never disappoints. VLE is amazing!

The condo and the resort are wonderful. Beautiful grounds and very helpful employees. I only gave 3 stars to the owner for communication because I received not instructions on how to to check in. It turns out you just go to the front desk and everything is set up for you but it would have been nice to know that rather than wonder how you get into what you rented, Nevertheless, it was a beautiful place, beds were very comfy.
