Great location. Classic Dewey rental! Lots of space.

We had a great week! The owners were very nice, and the house was just right for us. It had everything we needed. We were on the first floor. It has a huge fenced in backyard, which was great for the dogs, and relaxing. It was just a short walk to the beach and town.

We had a relaxing weekend in Dewey! The condo is in an excellent location near the heart of Dewey and steps from the beach. Our dogs loved the yard!

I rented this home for a Memorial Day weekend vacation for my family. Despite the rain on most days, we enjoyed our stay. The home had enough space for all of us to gather for meals and games, and there was also space to enjoy time alone if desired. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from day one.

Dell and Larry are wonderful hosts. Apt A was perfect for the 6 of us and our 2 dogs. The yard is huge with tables and chairs, outdoor showers, horseshoes, a big fire pit, gorgeous flowers and comfy cushions on the deck. Very clean with comfy beds. Great kitchen with everything you need. New washer/dryer! We didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to return again. The beach is so close and we walked or uber’d to great restaurants. This home-away-from-home was like finding a pearl in an oyster!

We had a group of 7 staying for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. The owner was very responsive and was available when we needed anything. The house is in a great location and is well kept. We all enjoyed ourselves and would definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Amazing location - SO close to the beach, amazing hospitality from the on-site hosts, amazing backyard for campfires and cookouts. Didn't give it a 5 only because not newest of facilities, but well-maintained, nevertheless. Very glad we stayed there - would like to do so again.

This is a great house, in a perfect location and very close to the beach! The house is larger and more spacious than the pictures make it look, which was great. The backyard is one of the best parts of the house with grills, seating, and fire pit! The host was absolutely wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

We stayed here on Memorial Day Weekend 2017 and it exceeded every expectation we had. It was right on the beach and in the center of dewey, right near all the restaurants, shops, and bars. The apartment itself was cozy and so nicely decorated. The real treat was the backyard, which featured two powerful outdoor showers, a campfire pit, and three gas grills. We were able to have a little mini barbecue and everything! The landlords are absolutely excellent, very respectful of privacy but right upstairs if you need anything. They even helped us get a fire started. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a great place for your next beach vacation!

Well maintained older property with a fenced in area for the dogs. The property is in a convenient, walk-able location. I appreciated the owner allowing three family dogs as many properties only allow two.

I stayed with a group of friends at this beautiful Dewey home over Memorial Day Weekend. It was absolutely beautiful and only steps from the beach. The house was clean, spacious and our hosts were very kind. The backyard is definitely the best part of the house. It's very spacious, has an awesome fire-pit, mosquito torches, benches, grills, and more. Great for a weekend barbecue. The bedrooms are small but clean and very nice. The kitchen is renovated. Most important, the house is only steps from restaurants and bars in Dewey. I'd go back in a second. Fun fact: Dell is the former mayor of Dewey Beach, DE!

We found this place here on VRBO! We vacationed in this apartment for 2 years with our 1 child age 7, 2 dogs a Yellow Lab and a Pomeranian; 2009 & 2010 who all love the beach. The owners are great, friendly, helpful and it was nice to know when we need them they were right there. The house is 3 buildings from the beach and this unit is not blocked but those houses. “AWESOME”! Being so close to the beach was great and the view from the living room apartment is of the beach and ocean. The new renovations made in the last couple of years are very done with a tasteful eye. The only thing lacking was a deck but we loved going out into the back yard to use the grill provided, sit by the fire (I think they even provided the wood). The outside showers after long days at the beach are wonderful they even have hot and cold water. They provided everything we needed to cook and a hose to wash off the dogs after walks on the beach and to clean off our beach chairs. The apartment only has 1 wall unit air-conditioner in the living room but don’t let that scare you; it was powerful enough to do a good job in the bedrooms that also have ceiling fans. The bathroom is a bit snug and the mattresses I would have preferred to be more firm but still this is a comfortable place to stay for a week or more. The other 2 units they have in this house will give you other great options to enjoy. Like the first floor unit if you need larger spacious accommodations, central air-condition easy access to the back yard deck, only one step up to get to and one step down to the front street where you can park. Each unit has 1 parking place but you can get a weekly or daily permit and park right there out side your unit with one or two cars. The unit in the back has a deck overlooking the back yard to keep an eye on your kids from the unit. Another great thing to say about this place is it is located on Rodney where many locals own and come with their families. You will even see the custom home made lemon-aid stand just up the road and across the street operated but the owner’s grandchildren when they come to visit. The Tush’s make great host; I would definitely recommend you give this unit or their others a try. Enjoy!
