This home was simply elegant! Included fine china, 2 dining rooms, childrens toys. Every you need is here! Very spacious for a lot of people, and very open for little ones to move. The owners were in contact, and happy to please. Excellence experience!

A great home for four adults all wanting separate bedrooms. The kitchen and dining were more than enough to meet our needs, and the home was a short walk to the watering hole, to boot.

I have rented other homes through VRBO and other sites. I have to say this home is by far the best appointed home. Truly an enterainers dream and layout. Great home for family gatherings. We loved staying there and hope to do so again! The hosts have a lovely home and we feel very fortunate to have been able to stay there.

We were so impressed with the beautiful, homey but elegant touches in every room, and were grateful for the well supplied kitchen and bathrooms. We had 8 adults and 2 children under 12 staying altogether, and this beautiful home still felt spacious! Will definitely rent it again because it worked so well for us!

We stayed here 11 days with a large group for the 2022 World Athletics (Track & Field) Championships. We had 13 guests: 8 adults (grandma/grandpa + 3 kids + their spouses) and 5 grandkids aged 5-10. It was a reasonable 20 minute drive to Hayward Field. The house has 4 bedrooms with queens, and 1 bedroom with a twin, plus several air mattresses available. Two of the bedrooms have double-sink private baths, the back bedroom has a small bath with a pedestal sink, and one of the queen rooms and the twin room basically shared a large bath across the hallway. The house was great for a large group. Each of the 4 adult couples had their own room with a queen, two kids shared the twin, one kid got a twin air mattress in the twin room (so we snugly fit 2 twins in there) and we put a queen air mattress in the oversized linen closet which the last two kiddos shared. There are two main sitting areas on either side of the kitchen, one by the TV and one towards the back of the house; and there is a dining room. The back room could have had a queen air mattress in it, but it wouldn't have been very private which is why we put the kids in the large closet with the queen air mattress. There's lots of parking; we fit 3 cars in the driveway and we probably could have fit 4; and then there's room on the street if you were to bring 5 or 6 cars for some reason. It'd be a great house for a coach + 3 or 4 athletes. The best of the house is probably the quaint back yard. It's fenced for privacy, has lots of shade, grass, a small deck with table/chairs, and has two gas grills. The linen closet had many containers of kids toys and our 5 kids loved diving through them and then playing with them in the backyard. The house did have some fragile display items on furniture that made the moms of our group nervous, but the kids (5-10yrs) managed to not break anything. The kitchen is a little small, but we made it work and it is very well stocked with cups, plates, pots & pans, spatulas, & assorted cooking/dining utensils. If you don't stay on top of the dishes they can build up because there is enough flatware for 13 people to eat 4-5 meals before you run out. But then you have a mountain of dishes to worry about. There's a dish washing machine and it works great. Hank was very kind and pretty prompt to respond (a little on island time, but he always got back to us). He gave us an early check in and late check out for no extra cost. We will stay here again.

Hank and Marcy have created a beautifully-appointed, roomy place perfect for a family gathering—five bedrooms, spacious living room/kitchen, elegant formal dining room, and a more casual family-room space, all filled with lovely decorative touches in a French Provincial style. The kitchen is well-supplied with everything you might want or need for casual or sophisticated dining experiences. AND it's within walking distance of the Creswell Bakery!

It was located well, stocked with everything you would need for a huge variety of ages type family. The communication with the owners was responsive and great. The only thing I was worried about was all the nice things and my kids and something getting broke. The owners did have an amazing toy room that kept them occupied and entertained.

The only complaint I would have is that there are so many dishes, crystal glasses and double appliances that every cabinet was stocked full and there was no place to store our groceries other than on the counters. The Creswell House was totally excellent. It was really sparkling clean, had a huge supply of everything one could ever need in the kitchen, loads of fluffy towels, spacious rooms with plenty of seating, and lots of good lighting. Came out to Eugene for a Phish concert and rented Marcy and Hanks wonderful place...the 5 bedrooms were perfect for our stay and the Karaoke machine will resonate with us for a long time...better than a home away from home...thank you again Marcy and Hank

The house was conveniently located for easy travel to Eugene and the coast. The house rules and “how-tos” were clearly displayed so we knew what we could do or not do.
