The Cottage was wonderful. Comfortable and well equipped with quality furnishings. Having access to the private beach via a short walk made it special and relaxing. The location is ideal and the host was super accommodating.

The property was exactly as described and lovely. We especially appreciated the great room design and decor. Check in and communication was seamless. We would definitely stay in the cottage again!

The cottage had most all of what we needed, and was a very nice location to tour the wineries. The little beach area was a nice bonus, especially since we had spectacular weather for October.

The cottage is incredibly spacious. It is so nice and cozy. The host is so responsive and so accomodating. This is where me and husband stayed for our wedding and it was absolutely perfect.

Cottage was nestled away to add privacy from public. The cottage sits behind the main beach house. Property was clean and very unique. It has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. There are plenty of rooms for families to spread out, but also plenty of room for everyone to be together. Property owner was staying in the main house on the property and she was very attentive. The use of kayaks and paddle boards were a huge bonus. Perfect for a quiet getaway with privacy.

We rented this wonderful house for a short, relaxing vacation and celebration of my husband. The house was clean, decor was just to my liking and the communication with the owner was pitch perfect. Hi- like other reviewers have noted, this is a lovely, comfortable property with its own slice of beach located close to the best of what North Fork has to offer. The kitchen was stocked with the right tools, the access to the pack and play, high chair, gates and kids toys made packing for a baby a breeze. Even the trundle beds upstairs made sleeping a wiggly older toddler easy. They loved the sunroom. Location close to a big kids farm, wineries, aquarium was so nice. Even being a little closer to the city than other places we’ve stayed in north fork made the drive easier Two things to know - the flip side of your own private beach (so nice to read a book on the Adirondack chair without a worry and have kids dig in sand safely) is that it’s harder to walk on the beach a long distance, if that’s your thing. And the outdoor space is shared with the larger house. This was also totally fine for us - the group there was sweet and not at all disruptive and the listing is clear on this too. But it won’t feel totally secluded if there are guests at the main house. The host was very responsive to questions in advance and even provided check out flexibility, which we really appreciated. Beautiful spot that I highly recommend to folks with young kids who are looking to get away.

If you're looking for a trip to the northern part of Long Island this rental is a great place to go. It is a very charming cottage with access to the beach, plenty of room, and very clean. It was also a very comfortable rental and had all the amenities that you need. We loved it. What we found in this area was great vineyards and music, and they were places and activities for adults and for the children, and there was an abundance of restaurants and beaches to enjoy.

We arrived off the ferry and were very happy with the accommodations. Clean, ample towels, and shampoo/soap provided. We utilized the gas grill for dinner and made breakfasts in the kitchen. Found everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

The property was just lovely. Location was fantastic and the view of the sound was beautiful. We loved the cottage. Kitchen was nicely renovated and plenty of sleeping space for friends who need a place to crash. Be sure to turn on the space heaters in the living room as soon as you arrive if you plan to stay in the winter/fall! That room gets very cold!

Just returned home from our stay at Meredith’s property. We have now completed our 4 consecutive year staying here and already talking about year 5. Everything about this home is wonderful. Best of everything and no other property comes close. Meredith is also so responsive and accommodating. Years of memories have been created for our children. Because of this property.

We were immediately impressed upon arrival. House is on secluded property with beach access. The house lived up to expectations. Clean and very spacious for a cottage! Up-to-date kitchen and baths, laundry on-site, and beach equipment provided (chairs, umbrellas, paddle boards, kayaks). Everyone had a great time!

So relaxing - a private property with just two houses - a 1 min walk to the beach. Each house on the property has its own piece of beach with chairs, umbrellas, kayaks & oaddleboards. The house is comfy and the kitchen is well kitted out. The house is refreshed every year. This was our third year and it was blissful

My 5 friends and I had a great time! The cottage is inviting and cozy but the living space is quite large! Close to the wineries and Mattituck town, and a 20 min drive to Greenport, a super cute town to spend the day! We would definitely come back.
