This house is all about location. Steps from the beach, great views from the house. House itself is well used and could use some up keep but was clean for the most part. We had a great time

Very clean and close to the beach. Lots of things to entertain the kids from beach toys to board games. Great covered deck on main level and nice balcony on the top level. I highly recommend and will book again.

This home was amazing! Fully updated with all the conveniences and our own private water access. Would definitely recommend to others seeking a peaceful getaway that is only minutes from all the action!

The location is the selling point for this property. Steps away from the beach, we were able to watch the family play in the water from our porch, or from inside the house in the AC. The house itself is fine, but could be a bit cleaner, and I killed a giant roach in the kitchen. But overall a good choice for families.

This property is always about the view. Everything else is just so-so. However, we will be back. On the upside, first time in years I have been able to get the door code for entry to work. Yay for the small things.

This house’s location is excellent and the layout is great for a family or group with a dog. Really nice porch set up and views of the beach

The place is cute and right next to the beach, we left our stuff on the sand and came back for meals and bathroom breaks. The deck is great for a morning coffee and lunches. If you plan to be outside taking in nice weather, its a very nice place. Many beds available, and a great view from the 2nd story common room and balcony.
The bathrooms are a bit small to share with a whole family traveling, but doable. The couple roaches we saw were off-putting, but hopefully management takes care of that asap. Had to buy laundry soap. Unfortunately, the biggest con was that we found the beds to be quite creaky and uncomfortable. The kids slept fine, but us adults did not sleep so well.
A little updating and maintenance, and this would be a very nice spot for a small family to stay.

We absolutely loved our visit here! The views and unbeatable so if you're looking for a true oceanfront home, this is it! Sitting on that porch swing while sipping a beverage with my husband on our 15th anniversary is a new core memory for me. We will definitely be back!

We’ve stayed at quite a few beach houses. This is my favorite. Very clean , maintained. The enclosed fence around the property was great as well

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with our fur babies. Sitting on the porch swing on the 3rd floor and just relaxing and watching the ocean. 20 second walk from the beach and the large patio is great to just hangout on. We will be back!

Lovely beach house for us as a couple. The kids rooms will be a bit tight, but the excitement of the kids getting to play on the beach will tire them out. The house is right on the beach which is very convenient, sunsets and sunrises are spectacular. As a retired Merchant Mariner the upstairs living room made me feel like I was on the wheelhouse of a ship.
Bring binoculars and beach chairs.
About the title of the review, I think we counted 83 different camels in the house, but we may have missed some. Game on!

This house has the best location. Right on the beach with the most amazing views. Sunrise and sunsets and all day viewing. Great porches and outdoor seating. Spent the week outside on the porch.
Home is older and smaller inside but perfect for our family of 5. Kitchen was great and had all that we needed. Needs a really good cleaning as it was very dusty. Needs additional bedding but had a great stack of bath towels! Lots of sand toys in garage for kids to play with.
Bring pillows and extra blankets. Bring your own cleaning spray.
The location is the winner for this house. Beautiful porches and view.

It was sort of the vacation location you dream of. A nice house practically on the beach with beautiful ocean waves slapping up against the sandy beach. It was also very peaceful and quiet with a relatively few of amount of people… just enough to know that you’re not alone. Of course we walked along the beach a few times but spent most of our time telling stories and laughing while hearing and watching the ocean and the seagulls… a perfect backdrop! We are definitely going back next year!

It was a family mini get away. This house was in a perfect location. We walked to the beach every day, at night my husband and I wat hed the ocean from the balcony. The property had everything we needed.

Great location and views, but the place is very dusty and there are huge cockroaches inside. Beddings were very clean though, so it was nice.

This place is literally right on the beach with amazing views from the deck. Beach access is 50 yards from the front door. Also, the beach is only used by the neighborhood, so it doesn’t get crowded and feels very private. House was very clean and enough space for two families.

The only negative thing I have to report is the inadequate description of how to access the property. I have stayed at similar properties on dozens of occasions and had never had a problem until this one. (Getting in took over half an hour). Will be going back to this house in June but don't anticipate any problems then. Beyond that our stay was wonderful.

The one good thing about this house is its location and view, but we would not stay there again. We saw multiple cockroaches in the kitchen, and many of the dishes were put away dirty. The shower backed up the first time we used it, although Vacasa did fix it the same day. The worst part was that we noticed a musty smell in the house upon arrival. When we got back home we realized all of our clothing, towels, etc smelled terrible. The odor from the house penatrated everything with this awful moldy/mildew smell. We had to heavily wash everything, even the stuff we didn't wear while there. We paid about $500 a night after taxes and fees, and for that price, the experience didn't feel adequate.

We wanted a peaceful getaway in an oceanfront house and that’s what we got! Location and views were wonderful, house was clean and well stocked. I deducted one star because the instructions to unlock the lockbox to get the keys didn’t match up to the actual lockboxes there. I had to text for help and eventually someone called me to troubleshoot and we eventually got in. To Vacasa’s credit, they were responsive, which I really appreciated. Once we got in the house, the weekend was amazing. The only other issue we had was the bathtub drain upstairs wouldn’t drain for some reason. The downstairs bath worked fine. Despite the setback when we first arrived, everyone enjoyed the house and agreed that we’d stay there again!

It was really easy to find . Loved that is was close to beach . Did not like that dog hair was everywhere . The stairs was a little narrow that except. But other than that had a blast with family

We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean. Location is fabulous. Neighborhood is quiet and everyone is friendly. This inside space was tight but it worked because most of our time was spent outdoors. The only complaint I would have would be the ants which appeared on the third night from the sideboards and flooring. Lots of ants living in the wood flooring.

Location and layout were perfect. Our 4- and 2-year-old kids had a blast here! The top floor bathtub clogged on our first night but that didn't dampen our trip! This was a great house for our family! We love Vacasa rentals!

Great location and view. The house was clean and had everything we needed. House could benefit from a light at the bottom of the outside stairs. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

The management team went above and beyond to help us get into the house as we showed up after dark and checked on us the following day. The location to the beach is great, the house set-up is a little weird but doable for a small family and not sure it was big enough for the price you pay but everything worked and the stay was fabulous.

I stayed her a few years ago and came back! It is right on the beach and the neighborhood is pretty quiet.

Overall our stay was very good. However the access codes/directions we were provided were wrong. 45 minutes later we were able to get into the property. There were no blankets only a very thin coverlet. We requested a late checkout and was denied because I called 5 mins past the policy cut off time. If y'all can workout these fairly minor kinks I will definitely provide a 5 star rating next time!

Check-in was an ease. Love not carrying around an extra set of keys! Home was cozy and comfortable but honestly we spent more time at the beach just over the dune! It was very private, with very few people and the perfect weather. Best time of year to visit Galveston!

This is a beautiful house right on the beach. Great access with small path leading right to the water. The porch has a lot of sitting space to sit, relax and have a glass of wine or coffee. The upstairs has an awesome view as well. We will definitely come back here to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets!

The location to the beach...walking distance was the crown jewel. We sat on the porches and relaxed without a care. Loved it. We'll be back

Directly on the water - can’t beat location without pitching a tent on the beach! Small, private home opened to guests versus empty rental. Kitchen had everything you needed to cook and only 7 miles from Galveston’s best restaurants if not! Hot water, clean sheets, and we’ll maintained home - it’s all we needed!

We couldn't beat the nearness of the beach to us, maybe 100 yards and the bed was very comfortable. Our dogs were so happy outside and we did some shell collecting also on restful walks along the shoreline. The internet and entertainment center were also outstanding.
