We had a wonderful vacation at the beautiful home by the pond. We like the woodsy decor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The beds were comfortableple. There were plenty of blankets and towels for the whole week. The TV got movies on our Netflix and Disney Plus accounts. We played some of the games at night. We took walks around the neighborhood and borrowed two books from the “Free Book Exchange Box.” Some of our family paddled around the pond in our paddle boat and kayak. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the view of the pond with the geese and nice sunsets. There were lots of things to do nearby. We went to the moaning Caverns, but our group was too tired to go to the Calif. Caverns. (We should have gone there first.) The next day we went to Columbia State Park and road the stagecoach and drank Sarsaparillas and ate candy. On the stagecoach we sang songs. We enjoyed watching “The Little Mermaid” that was playing live at the Fallon House Theater in Columbia. The tickets are with Sierra Rep. It was terrific! We stopped at the Frosty shop for lunch and milkshakes during the week. On the third day, we rented a pontoon boat on New Melonies and waterskied, tubbed and fished. We counted 14 deer at the lake and along the road. We went to the Regal Theater in Sanora and saw “Top Gun-Maverik” and “Jurassic World” in the evenings. We also went bowling twice at the Black Oak Cassino. On the last day we went to Railtown and Jamestown and took the tour. (The train only runs on the weekends.) My family told me that I wore them out and they didn’t get to relax much. They really had a great time. We have been taking a week vacation together for 28 years and I think it was our best vacation. Thank you so much!

This property was clean and provided many bedrooms for our large family. Two bathrooms was a little challenging for lots of people at times. Some of the furniture was dated and needed some refurbishing, but for the price, provided well for our large crew.

My family and I stayed at this property during New Years ! There are plenty of rooms for all of us (5 bedrooms) The property has a pond and a private dock for fishing . We enjoyed the snowy view! We all relaxed and played games as a family !

The amount of towels is also convenient when you have a big family. My biggest concern was that it didn’t have shampoo/conditioner for us to use. It definitely wasn’t a big issue but that would have been great. Other than that, the space was great and we were able to see snow!!! We had a blast at this cabin.

We had 8 adults and two children 1 and 2 year olds, we could close hall doors and stairway doors to keep them out of places we didn’t want them to go, plenty of beds we even pushed two full size beds for our 6’4” son, plenty of parking beyond 4 cars if needed, kitchen has everything and the deck was very relaxing to sit on and look over at the pond, beautiful quiet location and it made a perfect point to get to other cities and the pinecrest lake, plenty of air fans for all rooms We had a really good stay and the closest food at Reichs inside the gas station had surprisingly good food at a decent price!

The home was clean, kitchen had everything we needed. We loved being able to bbq on the top deck in the evening. The house was cold when we arrived late in the evening so we turned the heaters on and in no time it was super warm. The large tv had many channels and app options. We were able to explore the area, found ourselves at a dry lake bed up in the mountains and another day at a historic town. We have never been abs went to the area on a whim and loved it. 100% would recommend the house and location is nice to explore. Thank you!

We rented for a moms get away. We had an amazing time. We stayed Thursday through Sunday. We will definitely be be renting this amazing cabin again

A great little get away cabin! Beautiful pond behind the house with a deck to sit on! This cabin was super clean and cozy! Lots of room for a group. Close to town and a park right down the street if you have kids. Rachel was so nice to deal with. We will definitely be coming back again!!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. Was perfect for our group and was quite cozy. Plenty of blankets and such! The cabinets were well stocked and whatever we used up we left some for the next group (tin foil and paper towels). The only critique would be that the living room didn't have quite enough seating for everyone, but we made it work! Super great location, thanks for the games also!

The house is cute, lots of trees the private dock and pond we’re great for a quiet talk with a family member. It was close to Sonora in Jamestown. The kitchen was really well stocked with lots of pots and pans and some other helpers like coffee filters. Overall we had a name enjoyable weekend

A great place to get away! Sits on a nice little pond with a dock where my son and I fished in the morning and wife and I sat and enjoyed the sunset in the evening. The interior has been recently remodeled and the kitchen was well supplied. There were only four of us but the cabin could easily fit another four to six people comfortably. It’s just a few minutes away from all the sights to see in the local mining towns. We were there during a heat wave so we drove up to higher elevations on hwy 108 to picnic, fish and swim in the cool waters of the Tuolumne River. We returned home relaxed and well rested. Will definitely stay here again.

It was exactly what we were looking for. The kids had a great time fishing and exploring the area. The kitchen was especially well stocked with all the utensils you could need. If your looking to explore this are of California, hiking fishing etc. I would highly recommend this property.
