Great place to stay. The cabin had plenty of room for the 7 of us. It was clean and plenty to do there with the firepit, horse shoes, hot tub and short walking trail on the property. We really enjoyed being there.

The only major issue was the couches and bed in the master were covered in dog hair. We couldn't see it at first but after the first evening we started to notice it on our clothing and things we laid out on the bed to sleep in. The check in process was a little tough to navigate prior to the visit. The registration process could be a little easier. The location was amazing and the cabin itself was beautiful I would recommend it 100% and I would stay again now that I know how the registration works. Truthfully I don't check my email that often so I wasn't expecting multiples when we got close to the trip. You won't be dissappointed with the cabin!

The cabin was cozy and spacious for our needs. The 360 wrap around porch was great to spend time enjoying the outdoor scenery. I love to cook and found everything l needed in a well equipped kitchen. We are greatful for the time we spent at Castlewood Trails and would highly recommend staying there.

We absolutely loved our stay at Castlewood Trails! The firepit and hot tub were a perfect addition to our relaxing weekend. We didn't encounter any issues during our stay. I give 4 stars for cleanliness, just because there was hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub, and a few dead spiders around. But that is cabin life, and we werent bothered by it. We felt safe in the cabin, and were able to enjoy our trip. We checked out some restaurants and shops nearby, and hiked a trail at Beaver's Bend. All together, it was a great place to stay, and we would go again!

The tall pines welcomed us back in the fall of the year. After a hot and long Texas summer, the chill in the air was most welcome. The cabin was softly lit inside, the temperature was comfortable, and a burning fire was on the screen of the living area television. We were there to relax in this setting and hopefully see some fall colors in the trees. That was the only disappointment. We did see some, but our timing was a bit early. Maybe next time!

My friends and I had a wonderful time here. Plenty of space and things for us to do in the cabin! We especially loved the hot tub and foosball table! Our only wish was to have a physical (or image) of an outlined map to the property. Three out of the four cars knocked on the wrong house in the dark!

We enjoyed our stay here! Very nice, and clean house. Owners were quick to respond to our messages. Enjoyed the weekend fishing and playing golf.

We had a wonderful time at Castlewood Trails. The cabin is beautiful & peaceful. It is also just a short drive into the state park. Super happy with our cabin choice.

We loved the cabin! Our boys thought the log cabin was so fun and had a blast with the upstairs loft and fooseball table.

We had a fabulous time! The owners were fantastic and even told us it was available early for check in! My husband had a great 40th here!

This is a cozy cabin!! It was very clean. This will definitely be a repeat stay. We will be back. Love this place.

Beautiful cabin and perfect location. Has hottub as well. Only possibly negative would the cameras probably have view of the hottub.

The house is all that you would imagine. Very nice with great furnishings. It makes you feel as if you are at home. Love the wrap around porch with all the sitting areas. Plenty of outdoor space for privacy. Great place. Highly recommend.

A log cabin nestled within a wooded hill. We loved sitting on the front porch enjoying the view of woods and a pond. The Brazos River only a few minute walk, and wooded trails to enjoy. We saw no one on the property during our stay, except for a visit from one the ranch representatives asking if we were enjoying our stay. We did, and we never left until our time was up.

Absolutely beautiful cabin and beautiful scenery. So relaxing. We loved every minute. We would definitely love to come back!

A wonderful getaway to this cabin. Enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch reading and listening to the trees. Children enjoyed exploring all around the property. Great stay excellent host, very helpful when we had a question. Can’t wait to come back.

Conveniently located, easy to find! The kitchen and the cabin had all that we needed! Heads up if you really enjoy nature, this is for you! There's many trees which is why I think the spiders were everywhere! I was not really able to enjoy the deck as much because of the insects mostly spiders and wasps. The tree house had wasps, kids were not able to enjoy in. Too hot for the jacuzzi but it didn't look appealing either, but this is just my opinion. Also the WIFI is pretty slow just FYI in case you need it!

We loved this property! We were there in a heat wave and amazed at how much the large porch and trees provided shade and cool around the property. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, attention to detail - overall great experience.

This cabin was beautiful. The location is peaceful and the woods in the backyard are lush. Loved the decor of the cabin and the beds were super comfortable. The entire cabin was comfortable and homey.

The cabin was exactly like the pictures. The property was secluded even though you could see some cabins through the trees. We had a fun, relaxing trip. The cabin was very spacious and we didn't feel like we were tripping over anyone. The kitchen was roomy and we were able to cook all our meals in the FULLY stocked kitchen. I would recommend this to anyone.

The house was comfortable and cozy. We loved sitting on the wrap around porch and climbing in the hot tub at night. We were able to take short hikes right outside of the cabin and enjoyed watching the deer in the evening.

This was my first time in Broken Bow with some close friends! Before even booking, Glenn and Cara were so attentive! When we arrive at the cabin, we were in awe. It’s so beautiful, the surrounding area is amazing. It has everything you need outside and inside. Very very clean and comfortable! So much space. We can’t wait to come back next year to this cabin! Thanks so much for being great host :)

This was our second stay in this cabin, and it is wonderful. It’s so quiet and you feel like you’re in the middle of the woods, but still close to Broken Bow and all it has to offer. The cabin has everything you could need, and is cozy and inviting. Highly recommend this one!

The cabin was great very beautiful, but towels/linens on the bed folded neatly were stained/dirty obviously not laundered. And hot tub was green and moldy after 1 time in. Only half jets worked.

This property was even better than described. The cabin is well-maintained, decorated, and has everything you need for a peaceful vacation in the woods. The adults could sit on the deck and easily see the kids playing in the woods, in the treehouse, horse swing, etc. The fire pit was perfect for keeping warm and making smores. This cabin is a good distance away from others making it a semi-private retreat to get away from it all. We had a great time hiking at nearby Beavers Bend State Park and horseback riding at Riverman Trails. Carla is wonderful to work with as we accidentally left something valuable behind in the cabin and she went above and beyond to help us get it back. You won't be disappointed booking this cabin. We can't wait to return!
