Everything about our 2 person apartment was as listed but much better. The owners attention to design and details exceeded our expectations. If you are looking to visit Fayetteville and the NRGNP and need a nice, convenient and comfortable place to stay, this is it.

The hosts could not have been more accommodating. They also checked in w/us a few times to be sure we were satisfied. The flat is so clean & cute, decorated with unique art & nice linens. Loved the set of dishes! They even have great travel books to help with planning visits to the state parks & NP. They offer a list of rainy day activities (thankfully we didn't need alternative plans). Location is perfect, w/in walking distance to restaurants. We highly recommend this flat!! But..... as the hosts tell you, you must be able to walk a flight or 2 of steeeep stairs.... no elevator in this historic building.

Perfect for our romantic weekend getaway. The location is great, within walking distance of several nice places to eat and shop.

Having never stayed in Fayetteville before I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this property was perfect for the weekend trip I had planned. The actual unit was extremely clean, well decorated, and gorgeous. The location is very centrally located to the restaurants and attractions in the area and the owners have a whole book of recommendations and advice for your trip. I would absolutely stay here again.

We love Lafayette Flats- super roomy, clean and beautiful apartments within walking distance of great shops and restaurants.

We stayed here on our way home from the beach rather than stay in a hotel and are happy with our decision . Even the baseboards and floors were clean and dust free.

We had a fantastic time at this place. Sparkling clean and in the perfect part of a perfect little town. Highly recommended.

I've been wanting to stay at Lafayette Flats since I found them on Instagram! As a fellow host, I love what they've done with the old bank building. It's utterly charming, well appointed with everything you need, and so convenient to downtown Fayetteville + New River attractions etc. Amy and Shawn provide wonderful up-to-date recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. Can't wait to stay again!

This is a large, beautiful apartment in the middle of a charming town. Fully outfitted; comfortable bed; quality linens. Best ever!

Beautiful! The aesthetics created with furniture, artwork and layout create a space that is a pleasure to spend time in. Comfortable! Linens, towels, mattress and seating are all top notch. Kitchen and bath are well appointed. And, the flat was immaculate! Luxurious! Lafayette Flats is a beautifully crafted space which rivals many boutique hotels. The hosts' vision for converting an old bank building into 4 magnificent flats was truly a labor of love. Location! Small town vibe, many amenities including shops and restaurants, and the New River Gorge activities are but a few wonderful things this area has to offer. Amy and Shawn! They are hosts willing to make your stay the best it could be. Many communications about suggested itineraries, restaurants, adventures and hikes made our stay seamless and memorable. They are probably some of the best that West Virginia has to offer!

We loved the art, comfort, and location of the flat. The proximity of the New River Gorge and extensive hiking trails were fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in #2 Corten. The flat is well designed and decorated, perfectly clean, and comfortable. The description and amenities are as described. Be sure to take the time to look at the framed newspaper articles and the 3-ring binder with descriptions of the artwork displayed throughout the building. The owners have built much more than just a place for visitors to lay their heads. Lafayette Flats is clearly a labor of love that honors the history of the region and contributes significantly to the charm of Fayetteville.

Beautiful flat/apt that is closest to the newest National Park. Don’t pay same or higher price for hotel room. You will not find a better place anywhere closer for all area outdoor activities. Owners very polite and available should you need them. Flat has everything you need and decorated with beautiful local art and bright, happy, relaxing colors.

Very cozy, great place to relax at the end of the day. Hope to visit again, a lot more to see in WV.

Lafayette Flats are in a great location close to all there is to do in the New River Gorge area. The apartment was very clean, well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. We had delicious meals within walking distance at Pies and Pints & Wanderlust Creativefoods. It’s just a 10 minute drive to hiking trails with amazing views (Endless Wall and Long Point trails) and Summersville Lake is 20 minutes away for flat water paddling if you’re not up for white water.

Great property can’t wait to come back!

So much attention to details from the moment you walk in. Lafayette Flats walking distance throughout the town and a park and great places to eat. Cathedral Cafe was a great place to eat breakfast! Our flat was so clean and had everything we needed. Very quiet even with others staying in same building in the other flats. We will definitely stay there again. Felt like home away from home.

We really enjoyed our stay, even though we had to cut it short due to the arrival of hurricane Ida. The rooms were clean, tastefully decorated (with nice art), convenient to the town center and felt safe and private (which was important to us due to our ongoing caution with the COVID-19 situation). We highly recommend Lafette Flats, and hope to return soon.

I can’t imagine there’s a better place to stay in Fayetteville. The downtown location, style, cleanliness and charm cannot be beat. I can’t wait to come back for another stay.

Our stay at LaFayette Flatts was amazing. The location was absolutely perfect to walk to restaurants and shops in town and only a short drive to New River Gorge and other hiking/biking trails. The loft was so adorable, full of character, clean and had anything you might need. 10/10 would definitely recommend staying here!

This is a beautiful retreat in a perfect location for accessing the national park and river. The accommodations and amenities were perfect.

We had a great time at Lafayette Flats. The loft was close to everything we wanted to do in the New River Gorge area. It was very clean and the decor was artsy and fun. Amy and Shawn thought of everything needed to make a comfortable stay..Can't think of one complaint.

Everything about our experience was wonderful, property was a very unique and wonderful place. The room coffee service was a great touch. The communication with Amy was great prior to and during our trip. She helped commission a piece of art for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary. The location is so close to some great hiking and biking trails, the town of Fayetteville is nice and quaint although many of the restaurants close pretty early so you need to plan accordingly. Our favorite place to eat (twice) ended up being an amazing Asian restaurant (Kobe) a five minute drive away. The New and Gauley whitewater rafting guides were awesome!!!! The arrowhead bike farm was a great spot for biking and lunch only five minutes away. We had a great sunset dinner at the burrito bar. ACE adventure outfitters were super helpful with our SUP rentals.....needless to say we had a great time and look forward to booking again with Amy at Lafayette flats.

The property was in town, close to all the local shopping and sightseeing experiences. Visiting the national park was easy as the property is also close to it as well as Hawks Nest State Park. The property was clean, well maintained, and fully stocked. The owners were extremely responsive and very nice.
