We stayed here while in town for a funeral. The host was amazing and the Poolside Suite was an amazing accommodation. Everything we needed was at hand. Would love to come back in the summer!

We did our own wine tour and used this property as our home base. Was very nice to come home each day to a quiet relaxing spot. The pool was great to cool off in and then suntan in the deck loungers around the pool. We would recommend this property.

Gil makes every effort to welcome you and make your stay comfortable. We were surprised that the poolside suite was actually in the basement of the owner's home (other options on this property are separate). This created difficulties as the noise (which was definitely not excessive) was disturbing to the very light sleepers in our family. The owner was responsive to suggestions that this be clarified in the advertisement of the unit, as she wants everyone to be happy with their stay. Kitchen facilities are very limited (hot plate, mini fridge) and there are many rules about use of things within the suite. No amenities included (i.e., shampoo, soap, etc) which is uncommon to similarly priced properties we stayed at during our trip. Beautiful pool and outdoor area.

Enjoyed our stay, a sisters get together, disappointed in the kitchen a larger coffee pot would’ve been nice,the induction hot plate couldn’t be used the outlets sparked when we tried to plug it in otherwise it was great, nice covered outdoor area which we enjoyed very much and our host was excellent all the grounds are beautifully maintained short drive to shopping,beach and vineyards!

We just stayed in the poolside suite and really enjoyed ourselves. We had a very short stay but it was super cozy and perfect for a family of five.

We loved our stay at the Carriage House. The location is within a very short drive of everything and so quiet. It was clean and had everything we needed. We were able to make use of the pool and soaked up some sun. We visited Parrot Island and the Hainle Winery as well as picked up some yummy jam from the neighbors at the Farmers Market. Gill was so sweet and friendly. We felt very much at home and hope to stay again sometime. Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality.

We were very comfortable and Gill was a wonderful host. This is a spacious suite and a perfect location in the Okanagan, central to all the beaches and wineries you can visit! A bonus is the pool. The kitchen area is small but we had everything we needed and it works well with the grill just outside.

Nice and well equipped place to rest and ideally located between kelowna airport and penticton. Beds were comfy, supplies in great condition and Gillian was very helpful. Thanks so much, we would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was everything we needed for a great mini vacation. It was very clean and lots of room for our family. Gillian was a great host and made the booking very easy to do. Lovely place to have a family vacation.

We, a family of four ( kids 3 and 4 yrs old) had a great time at the poolside retreat. The cottage is very family friendly equipped w/ booster seat, pack n play, kids room w toys and books, outdoor badminton net and obviously the pool. If you are going, make sure to buy some homemade jam from Casper's Corner next door. Many thanks to Gill and Ray for their great hospitality. We hope to be back soon :)

My wife and I stayed at the poolside retreat for two nights. This area of BC has so much to do, you need more than two nights. The weather was very hot, so we full advantage of the swimming pool. The neighborhood is quiet and evening walks were very nice in this rural setting. Okanagan Lake is right down the hill, as are great little restaurants and numerous wineries are within a 10 minute drive. Great little place, we would highly reccommend it.

This proved to be an excellent home to return to each night as my Mother and I explored the Okanagan Valley from Salmon Arm to Osoyoos over the course of a week in May. Quiet, roomy and all the comforts of home. Gillian keeps the property very clean and beautiful with flower gardens everywhere. Great pool and deck. Exactly as described and pictured. We had a lovely time and will definitely book again.

We were 2 couples and one single - plenty of room for all. We very much enjoyed the pool and cottage - clean and spacious with all the amenities of home. Very peaceful and private. Highly recommend to those wishing to enjoy Peachland, but get away from the crowds. The owners are interesting, friendly and non-intrusive.

We just returned from a week stay at Poolside Retreat. This was our 3rd visit and fist stay at Carriage House. This is a little paradise surrounded by green hills and just a minutes of drive from the Peachland's beach avenue. The place has everything you need and beautiful surroundings. The accomodations is 5 star, great pool, the only place I feel like home. Cleanest bed sheets, towels, kitchen utencils. Lot's of space and beatiful gardens. We traveled with 2 years old toddler and she loves the place. Everytime we go the owner brings in bunch of toys for her to play, which is great and I don't need to bring over her toys with me from home. It is a paradise getaway no matter ou travel with kids or alone.Highly recommend and will retun next summer again hopefully!

Our family of five (3 children under age 7) stayed for a week in the Poolside Suite. The suite is located in the daylight basement of the owners' home (Carriage House is a separate building) but has a private entrance and even has a view of the mountains. Our favorite things about the rental were the pool and the location. We loved being out in the countryside but still so close to town. We were able to bike around the area including to the Trepanier Bench Greenway and the Parrot Sanctuary, which were both a lot of fun. We swam every afternoon in the pool which our kids absolutely loved. The grounds are beautifully kept as well. The owners provided toys and books for our kids which was a nice touch. The Poolside Suite has a very small kitchen but we made it work. For such a tiny kitchen it is very well stocked. There are no indoor cooking facilities apart from the microwave and toaster but the grill has a burner so we were able to make a few dinners that way. We really appreciated all Gillian's recommendations for what to do in the area. While the Poolside Suite is quite spacious the layout of the furnishings was a bit strange for us. When you first walk into the large living area there is only a pool table, with a sign not to put anything on it (it has a cover), making that room essentially dead space. There is no other furniture near the front door so we ended up with lots of big piles of stuff all over the floor. Because we have small children a pool table wasn't useful to us and, for our family, a different use of that space (more living area) would have been preferential, as well as some kind of coat stands and/ or shelves/ tables for organizing all our stuff. The living room is beyond the pool table and is quite small but was adequate. There is another open space outside the two bedrooms but it also seemed like wasted space. That room contains only a desk and a sofa bed. It could be a lovely library/ seating area but is mostly unfurnished right now. Overall we really enjoyed staying at the Poolside Suite and found it a lovely, comfortable spot for our family at an affordable price for the area.
