Great place to feel alone and yet not too far from all the fun in San Diego!

Good bad and ugly: Good: Priced lower than most properties in the area Good location to Grossmont. El Cajon and San Carlos. The wall air unit works well Hot Tub a plus Bad: Unit really set up for one maybe two people. Futon that makes into bed horrible to sleep on, bought an air mattress to put on top the second night. Window sill ledges dirty and place needs an overall dusting under the bed and throughout the house Hot plate dirty One blanket in the closet had a stain No extra sheets for the futon had to buy some Coffee Creamer and sugar from 2 years ago No luggage fold-out for putting luggage on. No closet just a portable closet. No room for stuff with a lack of shelves The shower insert has many angles for bumping elbow and body parts into Throw rug corners ripe for tripping and falling, better to take it out The ugly: Parking, pulling out on a busy road blind corner. With a larger vehicle, you are taking life into your hands trying to get out of property every day. Very dangerous if a car or motorcycle comes opposite. No way to see anything pulling out.

Comfortable inside, outdoor firepit not realistic.

Great little place for myself and my two daughters, it was a quick drive into San Diego and the directions to the cabin were very clear

Amazing place to stay. Very quite area.

The location was great.

The cottage was very clean, the check in process was very easy, and the location was near enough for us to visit many sights (La Jolla, Mission Valley, Balboa Park, etc..) The hot plate worked well to cook breakfast in the mornings and make a Stir Fry Dish. The only down-side to the place is leaving the driveway. The driveway is on a curve in the mountain/hill and people tend to fly on the road.
