Stayed here before, love Teresa. Always available & house has everything we needed. Very comfortable.

We stayed for 2 nights. This cottage had everything we needed. We got in during evening so brought food to grill and spent most time on covered outdoor patio. Coffee pot available for morning (bring your own coffee). Very comfortable sleeping accommodations. Near the attractions we wanted to see. Would stay again.

From checking in to checking out this was a great place to stay on our weekend getaway to the beautiful black hills. I highly recommend staying here . We will definitely be back!

I used to ride as a kid... horses that is. Now in my 70s that's a fond memory. Which this house brought back so strongly! The horse decor was so perfect, and the house had a feel like it was my grand mothers. But on to things important... we never ran out of hot water, the beds were very good and comfortable, the kitchen was great with modern stove and microwave (no dishwasher) and we loved the full size stackable washer and dryer! We felt safe in the neighborhood and walked after dark to the main street in Custer. It was the perfect place for seeing Mt. Rushmore, exploring Custer State Park and Spearfish Canyon. I stressed just a tiny bit about checking in but Teresa was very accomodating. I do like it tho' when there is a lock box with a combination as many VBRO's have. Thank you Teresa!!

The property was conveniently located with easy access to needed areas as grocery, gas station and dining out.

Nice clean cottage- right size for husband and I and two kids Owner was very polite and quick to respond. Close to activities we had planned. I’d stay again.

This was a perfect, cozy cottage in a great location. We especially liked that it had a grill and picnic table out back.

This is a perfect location for exploring souhern south Dakota. The cottage was very comfortable and well furnished and decorated. We would definitely come here again

It was convenient located, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. Theresa was very nice.

So clean, cozy and comfortable! Loved the decor, reminds me of my mom’s house. Location was perfect. Just 2 blocks from grocery store and Main Street. No complaints at all. Loved the back covered patio to eat and grill.

This little house is located so that you can walk to almost anything of interest in Custer. The house is super cute and clean. We had a couple of issues- it got quite cold overnight and the bedrooms, especially were cold. The heater is in the living room, so to get heat in the bedrooms, all doors must be left open. The blankets provided were not that warm. Also, no heat in the bathroom and the towels are very small or old and thin. We also had a problem locating the house as the link.in the email from the manager did not work. A phone call to the manager didn't receive a response until we had driven around town for a while. We did enjoy our time there and in Custer.

This was a fun property. Loved the decor - felt like my grandparents house. Had everything we needed. Close to all the things I wanted to do in town. Would stay here again

Enjoyed our stay in Custer. Turned out to be a good homebase to explore the Black Hills area. The property was fine for the two of us. It was older than we expected but everything was good, operable, and clean. Would have liked a dishwasher, especially during the current trying times. TV control directions would be a plus too. Liked it being close enough to town to walk to restaurants etc. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Theresa

Cute and cozy.

Teresa was just great in the communication. The cottage is within walking distance of the downtown area and cute as can be. It had everything we needed and we felt at home there. This would be our 1st choice for the future.

Teresa goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcome. The cottage is very clean and has everything you need. The location is right across the street from the grocery store and shops and restaurants in Custer. There are a lot of cute touches in the cottage and the WiFi was very good. My husband and myself would definitely stay there again.

Home was well equipt for our stay. Bed is comfy and kitchen had what we needed to cook at home one night. Location to town and Custer State park was perfect enjoyed our stay

My husband and I traveled to Custer on our honeymoon. This place was perfect for our three days here. It was close to all activities we had planned. Teresa andVic were great hosts and communications were easy. Thank you guys for making a memorable experience in Custer. Would definitely stay here again if we make it back

We loved the quaintness of the house. Fit us to a tee. Teresa was very helpful & so nice. Very perfectly located in town, so close to everything. Could walk to store, post office. Loved our time there.

This house met all of our needs. It is a clean, small, older house in a quiet neighborhood and a good location. We would rent again.

Couldn’t give a five star rating because we ended up having to leave due to a family emergency. Theresa was very kind, and prompt with communication. The cottage was clean and cozy.
