This home was perfect for our long weekend. Big space to sit around and visit with long time friends in front of the fireplace. There were 4 of us so we each had our own bedroom. Town was walking distance and lots of stores open. We even had a nice day to sit on the porch and watch the kids at the park. The only thing I would recommend to pack is a makeup mirror. Since there was 4 women in our group we felt an extra mirror or two would have helped. We highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to enjoy Frankfort.

This was my second time staying at this property - just as wonderful as the first. Very comfortable and spacious home. Great location close to downtown and the beach. Can't wait to stay again!

We have visited the Frankfort/Beulah area for years now and this is the first time we found a home in Frankfort that would work for our extended family trip. It accommodated all of us nicely, all of our kids loved the park across the street, and it was just a short walk into town. For the price, you can't beat the spot! The only things I would note for future renters is the slope down to the road in the front yard is steep and there is open access to the basement steps so that may be challenging with littler children. The road is a busier one so just be aware for kids going to the park. There isn't a dishwasher or central air, but we managed fine without both. I do think some new pots would be helpful in the home. Overall we had a great vacation here and the host was wonderful!

We spent a week at this home - myself, my wife, our 21-year-old daughter and our 18-year-old son, and we had a wonderful time! The kitchen was adequately appointed with large modern appliances and enough plates, silverware, pots, pans, and cooking gear (but no dishwasher). The living room was spacious and comfortable. The basement washing machine and dryer were older but worked just fine. There was no dining room per se, just a breakfast nook down the hall with a table that seats four or possibly five. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of hot water but not enough pressure to run both showers at the same time. The ping pong table in the converted garage was a big hit with our adult children, and we used the room as a convenient and safe place for our cat to stay overnight. There was no air conditioner, but this far north, even in August, it was not needed. The big attic fan with the windows open was sufficient. The location was great. The house was walking/biking distance to the Frankfort shops, public beach, bike/kayak rentals, grocery store, and several excellent restaurants (plus multiple ice cream shops). Sometimes we were lazy and just drove there in three minutes. Parking was generally not a problem if we were willing to walk a couple blocks during busy hours. Further afield, the Betsie Lighthouse, Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City were all close enough for a day trip. And right across the street was a park where I played basketball with my son.

Our favorite things were the location to downtown Frankfort (and the beach!) and the ping pong table / hangout areas available in the house! Owners were very responsive and helpful!

The house has a great location. You can walk the back streets to the beach and easily to downtown in 15 minutes. The front porch was readily used.

We had a lovely stay in Frankfort! The home was so cute and was laid out very nicely. Plenty of room for our party of 7 to enjoy time together each evening. The big family room couch was cozy had room for all! During the day there was a lot of wonderful things to do for our family in town and the Frankfort beach was wonderful for the kids. So many hiking trails that led to the beaches and Sleeping Bear dunes near by was another big hit with the whole family The home was stocked with all the basics you could need, beds were cozy too! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

A previous review stated below-which commensurates with our experience (a family of four adults which was well suited for eating area inside for only 4 people). I grew up in Frankfort and get together with family once a year to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas early. This house is always clean, and hosts are very open to communication. It's across the street from the part and and just down the street from my parent's house, so very convenient. Very roomy, and homey feeling.

Fantastic time staying here again! Would highly recommend to any family looking for a great Michigan beach town vacation.

We loved the town and found many other fun beaches and towns to visit during our stay. They have a really cool old theater downtown to visit on really hot, or rainy days! Overall, great area to stay and play!!

Had fun doing all our favorite things around Crystal Lake. House was just the right size for my family. Enjoyed the ping pong table. Unfortunately they were paving the road fight in front of the house while we were there. Also this years the alewives were all over the beach.

This home has it all. Plenty of bedrooms to spread out, a phenomenal showering experience in larger bathroom, dry sauna, two fantastic bikes for cruising around town and shore, a cool bar and grilling patio and also a ping pong table in garage with cornhole as well. The kids especially loved playing out there. Comfortable beds and living room furniture. A front porch with very comfortable chairs that you will find yourself whiling away the hours with a beverage of your choice. Host treated us extremely well also. You can’t go wrong here! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and the house. The amenities were really nice, the home is located in such a great place, walkable to anything we needed. All of the comforts we needed were there and we couldn’t have asked for much more. For anyone visiting, this is a fast article rental!

My significant other and I needed somewhere to stay last minute for long weekend ski trip. Booking was very simple and quick and the property was great! We only had 2 people but it could certainly house and sleep many more. Would stay again!

We stayed with my husband our children and my sister and her children. The home is cozy and has tons of sleeping space. It is also right across from a nice park that we enjoyed even in the snow! The owner is very kind and accommodating!

Every thing was as advertised online and had a minor issue and the owners responded in minutes can't ask for better service !!

We have stayed here a few times over the years, the owners are easy to work with and have made some great updates! It's great for families, right across the street from a park and walking distance to downtown.

This was the perfect place to stay in town for the race! Short walk to the race or the beach, comfortable and clean. Family watched me go on the bike course from the front porch! My son had a blast playing ping pong in the garage and shooting hoops across the street at the park. We just had a blast staying here!

The house was clean, well-furnished, and conveniently located. It was comfortable for our party of 8. We could walk downtown and to the beach and drive to all of our favorite places to visit -- Sleeping Bear, Point Betsie, etc. The hosts were very prompt with responses to questions. We had no issues at all, and enjoyed all of the amenities the house had to offer, like games and movies. The teens especially enjoyed the ping pong table! We definitely hope to stay with you again. We had a great vacation. Always plenty to do. After 47 years of visiting the area it was our first time in early June. Second week was sunny but chilly. House was adequate for eight to ten. Porch was the most used. Lots of park activity across the street. Only real issues were water pressure, cookware could stand an upgrade but we probably cook more than most. the driveway is extremely narrow making entering and exiting car difficult, especially for us older people. Neighbors dogs bark a lot We made the best of it and had a great time. Thank you.
