Brilliant apartment, great tennis courts, pools and Alloro restaurant!

Great property, part of the fantastic Baia Da Luz complex. Well kitted out properly with everything we needed, and a 1 minute walk to the amazing pool area. Joaquim also responded to queries in the build up on the same day and sorted a late check in for us which was straightforward despite the late hour. We’d definitely stay again.

Other VRBO owners should follow this example. There is a huge amount of glassware and dishes as well as everything you need for cooking. We did notice that there were no measuring spoons or good cutting knives so we bought some and left them there. We also left behind 2 beach chairs for other guests to use. Overall we were very happy with our 28 day stay.

The apartment is outstanding, it has all the facilities needed and is very spacious and clean. The balcony is a very large, peaceful space, great for sitting out in an evening or just getting away from it during the day. We have stayed in other apartments in this complex, this is better than previous ones we have stayed in. The location is great, so close to the beach and resort centre. We were with our 11 year old, who loved the pool area, made lovely friends, they played football and entertained themselves. As the pool area is a gated complex, it is very safe and secure. The onsite restaurant is lovely for lunches and also great in the evening. Staff there are fab. The apartment is located on the road just above the pool complex, which is nice as it is a much more relaxing environment (most apartments at Baia Da Luz are located just outside the pool complex, giving it more of a resort feel). The owner was great to deal with, prompt, provided everything we need. Luz is a lovely resort, very relaxed with great restaurants. There is plenty to do on the beach with wide range of water sports. It is also worth a drive to Burgau, or a lovely walk over the coast path if you are more energetic. Great beach, bar and restaurants, smaller than Luz. The Fishermans Trail takes you to Salema and Lagos, so plenty of coastal walking if you like that kind of thing. There is plenty for everyone to do in the resort and around the area.

Joaquim’s was quick to respond to any messages or questions and his place was great for our family of 4. Both the interior and exterior space is spacious and had all that we needed. We appreciated the extra things that were included, such as beach towels and tennis racquets. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay!

Immaculately clean, very comfortable and well equipped. The pools are wonderful and it is a very short walk to the beach. The owner was great to deal with from start to finish. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Baia da Luz is a lovely apartment complex, with an excellent restaurant, pools, and pool bar. It’s only a short walk to the beach, with plenty of bars and cafes/restaurants, and Luz has all the amenities needed on holiday. This was our fourth time staying, and we’ll definitely be back.

Très bel appartement, tel que décrit sur le site. Malheureusement durant le mois que j’y suis demeurée, il y a eu de la démolition et de la nivellation de terrain juste derrière le jardin et ce, 6 jours semaine du matin jusqu’à 18:30. Beaucoup de bruit et poussière. Il y aura de la construction très prochainement. Oubliez la terrasse extérieure.

Wow, wir waren einfach nur begeistert! Tolle Wohnung, toller Vermieter mit guter Kommunikation, tolle Lage... Hoffentlich schaffen wir es, irgendwann noch einmal zurück zukehren.

Apartment spacious and very well equipped/appointed, Baia is amazing complex with fab pools, kids play area and tennis courts. Would book again in a heartbeat!

A nossa experiência (2 adultos + 2 crianças) foi incrível. O apartamento é muito espaçoso, bem decorado e super confortável. A cozinha é espectacular, principalmente para quem gosta de cozinhar (Super bem equipada). As instalações do condomínio são excelentes e fomos super bem tratados do início ao fim, quer por parte do proprietário (com quem a comunicação é extremamente fácil e simples), quer por parte de todo o staff (recepção, restaurante, piscinas). Foram mesmo umas férias óptimas e com toda a certeza voltaremos!

Very clean and spacious! We will definitely come back. Only thing to say is that we would have preferred a chek-in earlier than 5pm. We will be back!

The appartment was excellent, with a very good Equipment and was very clean. We had a very pleasent stay there, felt always safe and comfortable. Close to the Beach, nice and quiet pool area. At night it was very quiet in the Flat. We would definetely come back.

Very nice apartment, well kitted out and exactly as it was described in the website. The owner was excellent to deal with and we even managed to get an early check in. Will be back for sure!
