Wish we had more time to enjoy the area and home!

Excellent rental in the village. Easy walk to the village. The house was very clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay.

The hosts were responsive with questions and the house was comfortable and well maintained. It was very close to downtown Walloon Lake with only a 5-min walk. The house was very clean and had a lot of extra bath and beach towels available. It also had a huge laundry room, a small dishwasher, and a mini split air conditioner to keep the upstairs bedrooms cool. We appreciated having Wi-Fi as well as Apple TV. We would recommend the house and stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very clean and comfortable for 5 people. Host was very responsive. Village is just a 5 minute walk, and Petoskey, Harbor Springs, and Boyne City are just short drives.

We love Walloon Lake and the village. This location is very walk-able to the village and just to go for a walk. The cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed this one week get away more than we can say!

The cottage was super clean, and very modern. The owners were right next door if we needed anything from them. The cottage is walking distance to Walloon Lake Beach, downtown, and the park. What a great town. We will definitely be back!

If you are up for a short 10-30min drive, you can get anywhere you need: to the grocery, to the beach (multiple places) and its tucked away in a quaint little town.

The place is a cute house near Walloon Lake. Very tidy and clean. The lake is very beautiful. Nice restaurants in the area. Very friendly people in this town and we enjoyed the area.

Spent a great ski weekend with family friends and their teenagers. Less than 20 min drive to Boyne Mountain, super location just a few blocks walk away to Walloon. Cottage was great, well stocked kitchen, bedding/bath linens and plenty of space for the 6 of us. Especially liked the spacious laundry area with washer/dryer and plenty of room for snow boots and coats. We'd definitely stay again.

This property is in a very good location for a ski weekend if you want to hit multiple ski resorts (Boyne Mountain, The Highlands, Nubs). Lots of great restaurant options a reasonable drive from rental. Quiet neighborhood. Cozy, comfortable house.

Great location, Scott let us check in early which was very accommodating to us! Would love to see a bigger coffee maker and maybe some essential items already at the property (body wash, coffee, etc). Also check out was relatively earlier than normal (10am) and guests are expected to strip sheets, wash all dishes then put them away, etc. even with a large cleaning fee. We spent most of our morning washing the dishes and cleaning instead of relaxing. Overall it was a great location and cozy stay!

This was a perfect spot for our weekend getaway. House has everything you need and hosts were great.

we had a great family wedding weekend, we were very busy, and in and out most days with wedding commitments. the cottage was a great location for us, however, not having any lake access, (we were asked to leave the grassy area down west street where we were sitting on towels enjoying a little sun and lake view) was kind of a bummer. the house was very well stocked with linens (sheets, towels, extra quilts,bath mats etc.), however, the kitchen could have used a few things, (a few decent frying pans). overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the owners were wonderful, and easy to get in touch with. i would recommend this property.

Our family enjoyed our time here close to Walloon Lake. Clean house and easy walk to town, boats & public beach. The property is nicely maintained and great communication with owner. It was a nice summer retreat for our family.

This very nicely-appointed cottage was extremely comfortable and served as a great home base for our stay in northern Michigan. It was very clean and the location made it easy to walk to the public beach and little downtown area. The hosts had already thought of everything that you might need for a relaxing time.

Very close to boat rental and beach. Had a great vacation. Short drive to Petosky. Enjoyed the restaurants, ice cream shop, antique store. Property manager is awesome !

We had a great experience, the cottage is really cute, clean and just 2 minutes away from the little Village of Wallon Lake. We were greeted by Kathy upon arrival.The area is beautiful, Petoskey, Charlevoix and Harbor Springs are just a short drive away.Unfortunately we were not so lucky with weather I highly recommend !

Scott's cottage was perfect! The location is only a block away from downtown, which was adorable and reminded me of something from a Hallmark movie. The cottage was the CLEANEST rental home we have ever stayed in, and was overly stocked with linens, blankets, pillows, kitchen, bath, and beach towels. Scott's mother lives next door, and it very friendly, knowledgeable of the area, and a huge help if you have any issues at the house. It is walk-able to the small beach, "The Foot", and everything else you might need in town. The Walloon Village store has most items/groceries that you may have forgotten to bring. Highly recommend the ice cream shop, and grabbing a sunset cocktail at the Barrel Back dock bar. We also rented a pontoon from Tommy's for 8 hours- very reasonably priced and newer boats. If you're not bringing your own boat, I highly recommend a rental to experience the true beauty of Walloon Lake. Also, since Walloon is such a small town, Petosky and Boyne City are about a 15 minute drive (there's also larger stores in Petosky if needed).
