House was great for 3 families. Kids loved the pool and the beach. House was beautiful we loved it from the moment we walked in the door. Kitchen had all we needed and more. The luxury of having the beach at your backdoor was awesome!! The home was clean and beds were comfortable. It was also a comfort to have Aircon. We will be back. Thank You

My family and I booked Calypso on the Beach for a stay in January 2019. My parents, sisters, their partners and young families all stayed for 8 nights. There were 14 of us total and there was ample space for everyone! We were all so very impressed with our stay! Not only was the accommodation stunning and well maintained but the location was perfect! Megan was fantastic at communicating and everything that we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. We look forward to booking again for our next holiday together!

It took me a year before I write this review but I thought I drop a word or 2...His property was the best I've been to for a holiday house. The place was clean, easy access to the beach, close to the shops. The property can accomodate at least 3 families and it was great weekend. A special thank you to Megan who made every happen quick and easy. I recommend this place to everyone who wants a good time and nice holidays.

Tis property is amazing for a weekend or a week. Fantastic location, close to restaurants, shopping centre and a minute walk to the beach from your back door! You have an amazing kitchen and full entertainment area to throw a dinner party or just chill and relax with friends and family and all the best accomodation you could want. We have been here twice now and will definitely will be back.

Our stay at Calypso was all we had hoped for. We stayed as a family for the Port Macquarie Ironman in May. Although about 20 minutes out of town, it was an easy and pleasant trip that didn't prove to be a problem. The local area of Lake Cathie is lovely, and had all we needed for our stay, with a major supermarket, service station etc a 5 minute walk away. The house itself was large enough to accommodate our adult family of 9 easily, with enough space for everyone to either do their own thing, or come together comfortably. The facilities are great, lots of lounge and dining space for everyone, a really well equipped kitchen, and good laundry facilities. The master bedroom is superb, and all beds were comfortable. Megan was a terrific host, very helpful and quick to respond to all my varied queries. Access to the house on our arrival was easy and fuss-free. We very much appreciated the complimentary goodies, and the basics that Megan provided - thank you! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to a large adult group, or a large family with children. Would love to visit again in summer sometime when we could really enjoy the pool and beach etc. A tip for anyone attending the Ironman and staying here - due to road closures, you will either need to leave before 6.30am on event day to travel to Port Macquarie, or leave your car on the other side of Ocean Drive for access to the alternative route.

This propert is amazing. Easily accommodated our three families, with plenty of space to come together or have your own space. The property has everything you need to have a relaxing holiday. Close to beach and the Lake. Thank you from all of us for creating a perfect Easter getaway.

From the moment we pulled into the driveway we were all impressed with the property and its location. Calypso on the Beach is spacious, comfortable and offers a short walk to the beach, which our children especially enjoyed. We were able to discover wineries that we did not know existed, enjoyed camel rides on the beach, and were able to enjoy breakfast at the local café when we did not feel like cooking. There are numerous activities suitable to all age groups. All in all it was a great choice and will definitely re-book again in the near future. Our contact for the property was amazing, very helpful and conscious in ensuring our stay was enjoyable and hassle free...Very much appreciated!

We had a great time with eight ladies enjoying good company in a great house & environment. Good pool & great beach out front. Would definitely recommend to any & everybody.

Such a great house, spotless pool, great amenities and location! We were a couple families getting away together. The house was a perfect size for dining and socializing whilst still offering plenty of spaces to escape for a quiet moment. We enjoyed the easy beach access and hours swimming in the pool. Couldn't recommend it more!

What a great place. Easily accommodated our 3 families. Waking up to the waves breaking on the beach was very relaxing. We loved the pool, access to the beach for fishing & walking, bike rides into the lake, kids movie room upstairs and the great Euchre Cards table (Bower !) - we'll be back !!

Wow. We simply loved it!! We have just spent a week surfing and playing golf in Port Macquarie whilst staying at Calypso. Having seen the photos online we were pretty excited about the property and on arrival we were certainly not disappointed. It's even better in real life! The house was absolutely spotless, and has all the extras you could ever need. Furthermore, it has private access directly to the beach. That meant that after a days surfing or golfing it was always a pleasure to come home to all the creature comforts..... especially the spa! Megan was really easy to deal with and there was lots of information on hand about local places to visit and restaurants to enjoy. I can't recommend the Calypso Beach House enough and we are already planning our return. Hope you enjoy it as much has we did.
