Our stay at the birdhouse was just what we needed after traveling for a week. It is not too far from Gardiner or Livingston which was perfect. The host is very sweet and accommodating!

Everything about the stay was wonderful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that we arrived the day the Northern Lights could be seen due to a solar storm. There were few lights in the area, so we had a great view of the night sky and the lights around midnight. We also took advantage of the Chico Hotsprings tokens included with this stay, and it was well worth it! The only downside is there was no working shower due to a snow storm a few days before we arrived, and we were not made aware of this change until we tried to use the outdoor shower. Otherwise, it was a great stay, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet (pet-friendly) space to rent while exploring Yellowstone!

We had the best time staying on this property. The outdoor shower wasn’t bad at all! The views were AMAZING, cozying up with a cup of coffee or hot tea and watching the sunrise and set over the mountains was one of my favorite things. The beds were comfortable and it was so peaceful and quiet. Ren and Jim were very warm and hospitable. We will definitely go back!!

This was perfect for what we wanted. Amazing location. Great communication. Small which we knew and all we needed, as we were gone during the day. Stairs going up are slightly challenging which again was fine for us but good to know for people who have issues going upstairs. We 100% would stay again if we ever return to the area.

We were lucky to be able to book this incredible find for a short trip to visit family nearby. The accommodations were perfect for us, the setting is both exquisite and quiet, and Ren went above and beyond in helping us feel at home.

This place is an excellent location to do hikes around Yellowstone. The hikes were beautiful and very close. The view from the bedroom window is lovely.

The Birdhouse is amazing. To be able to lay in bed and have a view of the mountains and watch deer, horses and magpies. Great location. Everything you need. Quiet and peaceful. Would definitely recommend. Would stay again.

It is located off the beaten path on a peaceful location with incredible views. And, there are countless outdoor activities relatively close by. It is very clean and inviting, and it was a perfect place for me to pause a few days during a cross-country journey. I will stay at it again in the future,

Unit was clean and attractively decorated. There were ample kitchen supplies for our visit. Our only problem were the 17 steps up to the unit but it was worth it.

The Birdhouse provided everything I needed for my relaxing trip to Montana. Ren was a wonderful host and I enjoyed my conversations with her. The property has amazing views and is a great place for those looking to get out of the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Was in Montana for a wedding at nearby Chico Hot Springs which was only about an 8-minute drive from this vrbo. A beautiful property set in one of the most beautiful landscapes I've seen. Visiting in the warm months made the outdoor shower an excellent feature as well. I only came in contact with Ren during my stay, but she was an excellent host and always asking if there was anything I needed. Would highly recommend!

This property is so serene that a doe walks her fawn to look for falling apples. Mountains greet you as you drink your morning coffee on the balcony. The room is a studio small but perfectly quipped for being a base camp. Everything we needed was there. We loved our stay and we loved the friendliness of our hosts. Jim had wonderful history to share about yellowstone. And Ren is a wonderful artist in her own right. I highly recommend this serene property.

Very peaceful place to stay at. Can see deer play and graze on the property. Stayed in summer. Room tends to be warm during the day but cools off by sleep time. They have a cooling unit in the room. I plan on staying every year while I move my daughter to school at MSU each year.

We were there to rock hound. Nice success. Ren was so nice to greet us when we arrived and to leave us a sweet tray of polished rocks to pick from for a souvenir when we parted. Loved the accommodations; very comfortable. Sad it was a bit too chilly to experience the outdoor shower but I expect to be back soon. Thank you for the beautiful serene space :)

The property manager was incredibly promt to contact me and inquire why we had not shown up. It turned out to be a glitch with the vrbo booking. My money was immediately refunded and our original dates for August are still on the books! Look forward to our stay in a couple weeks!

The owners were friendly and the birdhouse was perfect for what we needed which was a place to rest each day after going to Yellowstone. It's easy access to the park and to Chico with the Hot Springs. Beautiful views, lots of wildlife even in the back yard. I wish there had been a microwave, but other than that it was perfect.

The outdoor shower was an experience. Loved staying there. Very peaceful. Just 40 minute drive to the park.

Nice place except for the fleas in the carpet. I laid on the floor for 20 min in shorts and woke up in the night with lots of bites. Owner refused to believe or correct the situation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a sweet little loft area in a beautiful setting.
